I absolutely LOVE this pet healthcare clinic. Every one in the office from the receptionist all the way to the doctors. Everyone is so friendly & kind. I always feel that my pet is well looked after & treated with care. Their pricing is very reasonable & they also offer an affordable membership that includes lots of pet healthcare perks. It’s the best of both worlds! I always have peace of mind bringing my pet here & you would too. xx

I am bring my cat back to my home country and Dr.Tanner did an excellent job in handling all the documentation and complicated processes. We had to resubmit the HC few times and he followed up very quickly and finally I’m able to get my HC before the flights. He is considerate vet who genuinely cares about your pet. Can’t say thank you enough. If you are planing international travel, Dr.Tanner is a USDA accredited vet and he is very familiar with the process.

Love this place. Everyone is friendly and if I ever have questions, they answer them fully. They are super affordable as well. I’ve taken my fur kids to many vets across the metro area, and this place is the best. I had a negative experience with a vet around the corner from my home, so driving to Midtown is worth the hassle just to have amazing service.

The staff at this Thrive location is great! The business model of the call center and not being able to call their office directly is horrible! I have been bringing my dog here for over 4 years. We started coming with Dr. Tia Barksdale was there, and she was fabulous! Since she has left, I've seen a couple different vets, but Dr. Carson is the main one as of late. The whole team, including the techs and receptionists, are great - so friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. They have been professional and patient with my very shy rescue dog. Also, the facility is nice and clean, easy to park in the small lot in front. My main complaint is just the business model. Having to call a central call center is so annoying - they oftentimes cannot help me when scheduling appointments when it's anything except the basis general check-up. I usually leave a request for the Midtown location to call me back, and thankfully they will usually call me back within the same day or next day. Also, it used to be easy to just send an email to request records, but now I can't do that. All in all, 5 stars to the midtown team! I would still recommend this place as 4 stars, given the frustration with the call center business model.

I love going to Thrive in Midtown! Not only do they specialize in affordable vet care, but they are also just the sweetest group of people to my doggo and I! Always super kind, super fast, and super knowledgeable! Dr. Tanner was very helpful in helping me figure out how to tackle my dogs joint pain long term as he gets older and Z was so great at assisting throughout the process. Definitely check them out!

Do not bring your animals here. The level of incompetence and dishonesty is truly appalling. I’ve been working with them since 2021 to get my dog’s vaccination report correct despite showing the proof of vaccination elsewhere in office, via email and over the phone. They cannot do it. Therefore I’m getting endless emails about vaccinations being due that are not due. This is a nuisance.Additionally the DOCTORS do not honor the prescriptions they write which is insane. This is because they don’t want you to be able to avoid their overpriced products and go elsewhere that’s reasonably priced. They will write the prescription then deny it when you order outside of thrive. When you call to follow up, you get the run around, “I’m asking my site supervisor,” and five different answers to the same question. If you work or have any other responsibilities, who has time to have to manage Thrive’s office staff in addition to your own affairs and PAY THEM to do it? This isn’t the place unless it’s a dire emergency and even then, know you’re going to be dealing with them and whatever lies they tell you while in office long after the visit. Just go to a real vet, and avoid the amateurs.

Buyer beware!I’ve asked for an Area manager to call me. I don’t need apologies of how you’ll address the situation as a response. Your offices are busy, hiring more staff to give a personal touch to the communication or provide timely communication would help. I needed my dog to be a priority, a simple email response and record release and you would have a happy customer. You can find my name in you Atlanta Midtown database. Some care, the business operations needs work. To get a call back you must beg and go through a call center to send a message. It’s annoying playing phone tag and no one can answer an email either. My dog has had a hurt paw for a week and I was told they could give him a steroid this week if the pain meds didn’t work. They didn’t and I can’t get a response. I can’t get my X-rays or blood work. The vets care but they are so limited by the restraints. My poor baby could be better, but I can get an email response or a timely return call. I’m not asking a lot.

Oh my gosh this service was so great I mean the doctors were friendly. The front desk was friendly and prices are pretty cheap especially if you do the thrive pet plan that they have. Max got several vaccines a fecal test heartworm test with heartworm medication all for 196 which is cheap compared to other places. I highly recommend to keep the doggos good :)

They misdiagnosed our cat’s cancer as “ear strep”. They never answer the phones. Takes about 7 or 8 calls to reach them. If you need an appointment, takes much more than 1 week. Overall, they suck

All of my babies go to thrive midtown. Dr. Carson is amazing. She diagnosed my cat with asthma after he was sick for months and no other vet, emergency vet, or specialist could figure it out. She provided him an affordable medication option and always keeps an eye out for the best for him. I can’t thank this place enough for allowing Simba to be the playful, sweet boy he is. Dr. Carson truly changed my sweet cat’s entire life and I will forever be grateful for this place. I bring all of my animals here and still will even when I move northwest in the fall. Thank you Thrive and Dr. Carson for giving my cat the most amazing, healthy life.

Dr. Tanner and Z were the staff I had today. They both, plus the receptionist as well, were AMAZING. They are so kind, and the doctor took time to explain everything to me and let me ask all my questions. I felt very comfortable having my dogs there for care. I will be back for any future needs!

Had an appointment for a newly found kitten for a week and a half (it was the soonest appointment time we could get) to only have it cancelled via text 2 hours before.I had already made accommodatations with my work and moved around things to make sure I could make this appointment. When I called back to reschedule there were no options within a week except for next day in the middle of the afternoon. The associate over the phone said it was due to a power outage and was very rude.I understand things happen out side of your control but you should try to work owth clients, specially when the cancellation came from the vet. As I mentioned, it's a found kitten and waiting another week to see a vet is not an option. The person over the phone didn't ask for any information and didn't seem to care. It was definitely a terrible first impression for a first visit when expecting to find a vet for a lifetime. I ended up keeping the appointment cancelled, and made an appointment with a local vet with better reviews and a nicer associate over the phone.

Let me begin by saying I rarely write reviews, but WOW! This vet is AMAZING!!!!!! Dani, Kristina, & Dr. Perkins are wonderful. They are so sweet & caring. They actually LISTENED to my concerns & were not pushy at all like most vets. This vet center is actually affordable. My cat Lilo Mittens was acting very strange (growling, hissing, etc.) so I took her to ensure that everything was okay. They were very patient & sweet with Lilo and made sure she was as comfortable as possible! I wish I would have discovered them sooner. I am very impressed with the exceptional service I received & will definitely be back if Lilo ever needs to visit a vet. I HIGHLY, highly recommend. (P.S. my sister will be in soon with her cat as well :)

Staff - amazing. Call center - horrible. I ran 10 minutes late with my sick dog and they did a quick exam and were able to prescribe medicine to my dog. The staff was very nice and very friendly. I will be coming back there for sure. However, the call center representative was really rude and said that she would have to reschedule my appointment for being five minutes late. Horrible customer service for the call center.

I just moved to atlanta recently and was searching for a new vet to take my pup to. I called around to a few different vet offices near me and asked about pricing, and all of them were insanely expensive. I just graduated from graduate school and needed something more affordable, and I found THRIVE online via an online search. I had a wonderful experience here. I got my puppies annual check up and vaccines as well as an antibiotic for a wound on her paw all for an extremely reasonable price. I will definitely be back again! The staff were also super friendly and helpful, and the environment was clean and professional.

I have been using Thrive for 5 years now. In Houston and in Atlanta. I can say with certainty that the current team at Thrive Midtown is the best yet I have encountered. The care and professional manner that Dr. Menilscole, Zariah, MIchael and Kierra showed me and my senior dog was beyond standard care. I hope this team stays in tact because they are truly the best.

Why does this vet refuse to write me a flea and tick medication prescription? Are you getting some sort of kick back for selling me the medication at the vet? Does it sound remotely convenient to come to the vet once a month for one pill?On top do that you all are never open and tell me this pill is not in stock or to come back the next day every single day. Who has time for this ? Would you want this as a pet owner?Honestly the doctors might be okay but I can’t even get to one, appointments are scarce, and no one communicates. No call backs, no emails responses, but you all are capable of sending me 100 texts the day of the appointment I finally get.I just want to take me dog outside and thrive is making that inconvenient or impossible. This is not normal behavior of a vet, it doesn’t make sense

Love love love Thrive. My little puppy was sick and they really saved the day. While other vets/hospitals wanted to charge me 2x as much upfront (before any exams, medications), Thrive was very reasonably priced. Plus, the vet, vet tech, and receptionist were all very nice and caring to my pup and myself. I was able to go in, and get my pup situated and cared for within a timely matter. Probably one of the best experiences I’ve had with Atlanta vets.

Staff friendliness were on point, but questionable customer service and diagnosis. Suspected dog had a sty on eye. Doc said no, diagnosed a tumor. Doc advised that he would need to do surgical procedure to remove it, get it tested to determine what type of tumor it was, and determine further treatment. I declined for us to partake in the procedure. He advised that it would have to be done eventually. While leaving, the bump burst and started bleeding. Days later, no more bump. Hair has grown back where bump used to be. It was a sty, as suspected. Also before leaving, nurse/tech had scheduled a follow up appt, including providing date and time. When I called to cancel the appt, because the issue had resolved itself, I was informed that there was no scheduled appt in the books for my dog. 😔 Hence my review rating. Nice people, not so dependable service nor diagnosis. #furbabies

Outstanding service! Michael at the front desk checking us in was absolutely incredible very friendly and very informative. The vet tech was so sweet to our baby boy and we felt so safe letting them take our baby boy back to get his treatments and the vet Dr. Z was extremely kind and informative giving all of the information. 10/10 will come back and recommend anyone to here!

Grown so tired of this place and will be taking my dog to another vet. Here is the list of reasons why you shouldn't go here:- You can't contact their front desk directly when you call and will always go to a 3rd party- Firm 10 min grace period for appointments even though once you get there you have to wait a long time to see someone and they're not even ready- You have to complete an extensive form for each appointment and they don't even pay any attention to it- I've taken my dog in there 7-8 times now and never seen the same person; it's not even the same receptionist and the place isn't even that big!- There is always something new that my dog needs to get, whether its a check-up or medication. It feels like I'm not getting good honest advice, and I'm not getting any prewarning about upcoming things for my dog- I think 1/8 times they have actually responded to my insurance providers request for medical files- The manager is a myth. They're never there, and they don't have HQ's telephone number apparently- I've been told 5+ times now (4+ times about the same simple thing) that they'll call me back and they never do. It's in their best interest to call me back to make a surgery appointment as they're making a lot of money

This is honestly the worst vet you can go to, and this coming from someone who once considered it one of the best. I am locked into a membership that I basically can't cancel, yet my senior dog can never be seen in a timely manner and they won't even fulfill his prescription requests. My poor baby is going without because they simply don't care. They actually will just randomly be closed on days they are supposed to be open and have zero remorse or care for any of the heartache and actual pain they cause families.

Came in for an appointment and the front desk person was unfriendly and rude. They changed our appointment time without telling us and then acted like it was our fault. The entire time we were waiting we could hear other people’s pets yelping and howling in the back room and the staff joking about how these pets were real screamers.I wanted to leave given the initial experience we had, but my partner was hopeful things would improve. Things did not improve at all. The vet tech came in and did not even try to have our dog warm up to them. They then tried to drag my dog to the back and after some convincing she went back with them. The front desk person came back in two minutes later yelling at us that our dog was terrible and they would need to sedate her in order to do anything (of course for an extra charge). I found this hard to believe given that she’s stayed over night with other vets for major treatments without any issues before coming to this vet. They brought her back and she was shaking all the way back to our home. They take all of the pets to their back room unaccompanied for any and all services. Given our experience and what we could hear as we waited, I can only imagine what goes on back there. Safe to say, its best you stay far far away from these people if you want you and your pets to be treated well.

It's a mixed bag here. The vets are compassionate and knowledgeable. I felt like they took my concerns for my fur baby's health seriously. However, there's a clear lack of organization, and given that Thrive is a chain of vet clinics, I'm not sure who is to blame. My baby boy was sick and the vets recommended a series of tests to diagnose him. However they piled on these expensive tests ($600+), when in reality one simple blood test revealed the problem. On top of that, a vet TECH is the one who went over the test results. All these expensive tests and a tech is the one to go over the results... Not cool.
