They have a large selection of food and bulk treats. They have raw ground blends in the freezer. Some blends include ground bones, so it really has to be served raw.They also have treats like chicken and turkey heads, wings, and feet. Plus furry rabbit treats, and the like.The employees are certainly dog people. She got so much love from them, she didn't want to leave. 🤗... We were at the park recently, and my dog got diarrhea for the first time. We walked over here, to see if maybe they had something. After a brief discussion, they supposed that my dog's diet may be low in calcium. She ate a chicken foot, and her digestion was back to normal! They also gave a supplemental powder suggestion, but a lot of the ingredients were redundancies of what she already eats.

A MIDTOWN GEM FOR PET OWNERS! We're so grateful for the knowledgable, friendly, super helpful staff who always remembers our dog Kingston. The manager Shy has helped us on so many occasions ordering special ingredient formulas and supplements for our boxer/pit who has a super sensitive belly after a round of prednisone for horrible itching. She even got tester bags of certain formulas to see what he could tolerate. Kingston loves to go in and see her because he feels so loved by her and she truly deserves a raise for all the help she's provided for us!!! Julian is incredibly helpful on multiple occasions as well. Love the new location near Trader Joe's and don't know what we'd do without the wonderful humans here who will carry 22 pound bags of dog food to your car without batting an eye :) Simply the BEST!

I really enjoy shopping here! The staff is very passionate and knowledgeable but in addition to that, they are so focused on making sure their clients' needs are taken care of.Recently they made an honest mistake in the order for my dog's food and the way they rectified it was so impressive! It was the right product but my dog needed smaller bites. I could have easily used what they ordered but they wanted me to have what I ordered which I really appreciated. They did a re-order but to get it sooner, they sent it to another location and then had it couriered to me! Aside from that, the other location contacted me to make sure it was sent to me at a time I could be at my house to receive the delivery. Just wow!But it didn't stop there. It was MY mistake that I was so low on food for my dog but they insisted on comping me a very comparable food to feed until my delivery came in just a day or two later. That was WAY over and beyond.My point in all of this is that they shined when I would have been just as happy taking home the perfectly usable food....they don't want the client experience to be good. They want it to be EXCELLENT and they sure do that each and every time I'm there!Diesel and I are VERY happy customers!

Went in for simply some waste bags and ended up asking about some of their dried animal organ treats. Megan was awesome and extremely knowledgeable !! While also sweet and helpful. She helped us figure out what treats would be most beneficial to our French bulldog Dottie. This has already been a shop I’ve liked but now I will always return here for my treat and pet needs!

Went in yesterday after my dog had an allergic reaction to his prescription diet that was going to hopefully make him 100%. He’s always suffered from bad allergies, but I haven’t seen him break out like this in years. I ended doing research for a few days and decided to come here and go with a more natural food approach. The service I received was absolutely AMAZING! I went in yesterday with an idea of what I would like to purchase for him and walked out with nothing of the sorts, in which I’m super grateful for because it just shows how knowledgeable and caring their staff is. Whoever helped me (I forgot her name) took the time to listen to his issues and we decided on half raw/half kibble diet which is what I was going for, but she recommended a different brand that I didn’t see in my research, but I felt like it would work better for his needs than the other. I would much rather go through trial and error with this company and food then my pup being on antibiotics & steroids for his reactions to food (he also has environmental allergies). Super grateful for all the help and he actually thanked me for his meal today which he hasn’t done since he started the prescription diet. THANK YOU ❤️ he also enjoyed his goats kefir very much :)Kisame’s all smiles now and says thank you too! His skin already looks better!!

Wandered into The Whole Dog Market looking for a cute cookie for my granddog. They didn't have any, so I bought a dehydrated turkey wing. Needless to say, she LOVED it! My only regret is that I bought only one! The person that helped me was super awesome and everyone was very friendly. I live about an hour and 15 mins away, but already planning my second trip!

My favorite spot for raw food, treats, baths, and collars! They have a wide selections of brushes to use when you bathe your pet. They have these beautiful embroidery collars and leash.

A limited selection, but excellent and very friendly staff that were eager to help, and very knowledgeable about what they had to offer. They didn't have the dasuquin that my dog's orthopedist told me to get, but showed me some good alternatives (though I did end up getting what the vet suggested). I ended up walking out empty handed because that is all I was after this day, but the next time I need to get dog food I think I will be shopping here. I prefer to support such wonderful people as these.

The Whole Dog has an awesome self-wash that I’ve been using for the last couple of months. I love that steps are provided to help get my dog in and out of the wash. The staff over delivers on amazing consistent customer service. Definitely check this place out!

First off I want to say the staff is amazing if you have any questions they definitely will try to answer it for you if they don't know they're going to find out and figure it out for you. You can wash your dog there and if it's been your first time they'll give you a good walk through on what everything in the washroom does from shampoo to conditioner from brushing them out to using the blower to be able to blow dry them. My wife and I love this place and our dog loves leaving after a bath with the treat. 10/10 will be back again!!

Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. We came in with our pup after walking back and forth on the beltline and she enjoyed her visit as did we. She got a couple of treats as well as sample dog foods since she’s a picky eater. Sorry I’m not remembering your name but you recommended that we stimulate her mind so that she would eat and it has been working thus far these past 2 weeks. We picked up a toy, a chew and a new dog tag since she likes to chew on hers. Hoping that she doesn’t get to this tag as easily since this one is definitely more sturdier than the ones you find at PetSmart or PetCo. Prices for chews and toys are very fair compared to chain retailers. They also offer a free self bath station coupon since it was our first time in. Will definitely come back when we can.

We love this place! We just went to use their self-wash dog bathing area to give our bath-resistant lab a good clean. Staff was so helpful walking us through how to use their facilities, and we even had a coupon to do the wash for free! The bath area was spotless clean and well maintained. Everything was easy to use, even with a squirmy 100 pound lab fighting us. After the bath, the staff gave our pup a treat and some water and we were good to go. We bought some treats and bone on our way out- we've found prices to be fairly competitive to pet super market, but the staff here are much warmer and willing to help.Will definitely be making a habit of coming to this place.

I love this place all of there chews for there dogs are so fresh and huge for our sweet pups. Great prices. Very friendly. The employees actually bring their dogs to work to great us every time. I’ve been to other stores like city dog market and the whole dog is my pick every time.

I absolutely love Whole Dog Market and the people who work there. I have been going to Whole Dog since 2012 and refer them to everyone I can. We’ve use them for my dog, my brothers dog and now for our new dog and cat. I am really into natural and holistic remedies and they always point in the right direction when I have questions. They choose clean products and partner with responsible vendors. After my old dog passed and before I got my new dog, I would stop in just to say hi. I can’t say enough about them. They are great. ❤️

This place is amazing! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful! I was dogsitting for a coworker and went in there to get him more treats and to buy shampoo (labs really like playing in the mud...) and they immediately asked me if I needed any help when I walked in the door! I had no idea about there self wash station and for $15, you really cannot beat it! Everything was so easy to use and they were super informative! They have a great selection of toys and treats (Gunner got a duck toy because he was so good during his bath!!). When I become a dog owner, I will be frequenting this place much more often!

Fun place to stop while out walking the dogs to get them a treat. Good treat prices.I do wish for those of us introverted customers the staff wasn’t so quick to pounce when you walk in. They are very friendly but I get the impression they either work on commission or were instructed to shadow everyone closely to prevent theft because when I’ve gone in an employee is immediately asking what I need, what I want, questions about my dogs, etc. when I just want to be left alone to browse and decide on a treat. It’s intense enough that sometimes I just don’t feel like stopping in to deal with the interactions. I don’t think this is the employees as much as something they are heavily instructed and encouraged to do. So, management: please maybe let the interactions be a bit more organic and easygoing? Not all of us enjoy being followed and asked lots of questions when we try to shop. Or if it’s a commission thing, the sales vibes are a major turnoff and don’t make me want to buy more. Thanks!!

The attendants were very friendly and they have some cool stuff, but unfortunately the dehydrated pig leg treat I got has severely messed up my dog’s GI tract despite being told it was easily digestible because of the way it’s prepared. He was able to eat literally anything before I gave it to him and now I’ve spent upwards of $650 in vet visits the past month since giving him this treat due to GI issues. Although this is not their fault, I do think that other dog owners should know that these treats can have this effect before purchasing them.

My wife n I went in a few weeks ago randomly looking for the not so routine dog store. We walked in n immediately felt welcomed, smiling faces n all!By the time we left a 1hr later we got some great advice, tremendous education about dog in general n about our American bully, so fantastic food that my lil guy ik will love! It’s a lil pricey but if u love your dog like we do we didn’t blink about that because u want your dog to have the best!We thank everyone there n we will most definitely definitely b back very soon!!!
