Bad owner who can’t take responsibility, they injured my dog and when they talked to me about it, were very confrontational. There are mobile groomers in ATL that can handle your pet with care, something this establishment has very little of.

I had a wonderful experience here today and I'll definitely be a frequent customer. My little guy was in bad shape cause he'd been neglected before I adopted him. They took such good care of him! He had a fun day and he looks amazing and came home so happy with so much energy!

I moved to North Decatur, but continue taking my cocker spaniel here because they are so nice to my doggie. He is a pretty nervous fella, and they are always very sweet with him. Plus, he gets to hang out with the daycare dogs while they work on him and he waits to get picked up. I much prefer this to putting him in a cage. It helps me not worry about him while he's away

We recently moved out of Atlanta and I am so bummed because our baby Emory loved The Clean Dog! I wanted to write a review to tell about what a positive experience we had in the year that we were customers. We used the Inman Park location for daycare regularly and the O4W location for boarding when we went out of town. Maria and her team took excellent care of Emory, and always notified us if they noticed anything unusual. When Emory wasn't feeling well, the staff would even call to check in and see how she was. The grooming services were also excellent. The staff was reliable and kind, and genuinely cared for our dog, which made us feel even more comfortable as dog owners. The prices for services are extremely fair. I would highly recommend the Clean Dog if you need day care, boarding, or grooming services. Thank you to Maria and the rest of the staff (especially Laura, Emory loved you!!) for taking great care of Emory. We truly miss you guys.

I love the clean dog! They are local, and very friendly. They do a great job with both of my dogs. I have a larger very energetic dog who gets plenty of play time and always seems to have a great time. My other little one is 16. I feel like they make sure she is still getting the attention she needs with out the typical craziness of a dog boarding place. They also do a great job with her grooming. Definitely recommend!

I am writing to issue you all a warning before taking your pet to this establishment. I brought my cat to The Clean Dog for a routine grooming appointment earlier this month. The cat did have some small mats but otherwise he is very well behaved and has been easy to groom in the past. When I picked up my cat, he had suffered over 10 deep wounds and was bleeding from multiple spots all over his body. My pet was visibly traumatized from what had happened and I took him straight to the vet where he needed IV and topical steroids and antibiotics as well as pain medications. When I asked Maria about what happened, she blamed me over and over again for what The Clean Dog did to my cat. She then offered to reimburse the vet bill and the grooming cost as "hush money" signing a confidentiality agreement so I cannot warn anyone else about what happened which I refused. The Clean Dog mauled my cat, injured an innocent animal multiple times, and never once apologized for what happened. Please see the photos attached for evidence of what they did. Do NOT take your pet here for grooming.

We took our long haired daucshund/beagle mix to the Clean Dog. We will not be back! We we quoted $45-55 for a full grooming with trim. After leaving, he was put on the bath we got a call saying that it would be $85! They bait and switched us. We actually even asked if they would be willing to meet us in the middle since we were new customers - they wouldn't budge and we had a horrible feeling about it. We went back to read reviews left by other dog owners and saw that they had made other dogs bleed during their service. We we so worried we picked him back up after his bath. They sprayed way too​ much cologne on him. They also told us that he was "screaming" and they couldn't groom him anyway. We were still charged $35. I do not recommend!

Took our dog here for the first time to get a hair cut. He is a large Chocolate lab, that is sometimes a little hard to control. But they did a great job, he looks great and smells great. Staff was very friendly, and knowledgeable. The store itself on the inside has lots of neat and useful supplies for dogs. I would recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a good affordable dog groomer.

They did a good job with bathing my dog. They give 2 hours of complimentary daycare. I went over an hour and was fine paying for the hour but they charged me $25 for it not $5. Also they close at 6. We had problems getting an Uber to pick us up so we could get our car so we were 11 minutes late. They charge for being late which is fine. But there prices are ridiculous. I was charged $65. So don't be late and get your dog as soon as they are done if you use them.

The staff was pleasant and courteous but they did not listen to my instructions. I took my golden doodle in for a sanitary haircut. I specifically told them to NOT shave him, and even went to far as to show the groomer a picture of what my puppy looked like after his last grooming session. They agreed to everything; but guess what I found when I picked him up? They shaved his face and much of his underbelly, changing his appearance significantly. I didn't recognize my puppy when they brought him out - and that's not a good thing. I asked to speak with the groomer again and showed him the picture of the look I had wanted. It was as if he were seeing it for the first time, and he asked if I could email the picture to him. Why didn't he ask before, if he couldn't remember? I would have happily done so. I was very upset but there was nothing else to do but wait for my pup's hair to regrow - which will take months

They have been grooming my dog, an English Springer Spaniel, for 8 or 9 years. She's now 14, practically blind and nervous about leaving home. The staff at Clean Dog take good care of my girl and I don't worry when she is in their care.

Our dog love the Clean Dog.MARIA the owner takes good care of Opal and she is always tired when she comes back home from the dog daycare.They are very good with long term stays. We often leave our dog there for 15 or 20 days for overseas trips and our dog do just fine and barely miss us, bc there should get lots of attention and play dates.The only issue I have is because they do not offer video ou image updates when you leave your dog for long time. But that isnt about the dogs wellbeing it's more about the me missing my dog. So I think it would be a good service to offer. Besides that everything is Perfect and I highly recommend

Let me be frank. I used to bring my Snorkie to the Clean Dog regularly when I lived in the area when they used to be on Edgewood Ave, so I’m very familiar with The Clean Dog. Yesterday my experience we horrible. I called prior to bringing my dog in to inquire about prices. I was quoted between $45-$55 dollars. When I picked up my dog (mind you I had to call to follow up with them to see if he was ready bc it was going on 5 hours since I had dropped him off) the price was $65. Why? Bc apparently my 8 year old dog who has been getting groomed regularly for 7 years straight was temperamental and they added a mysterious $10 fee that is not displayed anywhere in their establishment. The price range I was quoted is determined by 4 criteria’s, one including temperament. So how do you just add a $10 fee with no prior notice? Then when I explained how their policy was not clear nor did they have proof of my dogs temperament issue the Manager/Owner tried to hold my dog hostage. I have never experienced such a poor demonstration of customer service and yes I went off after I paid for my services and she tried to say my signature wouldn’t suffice. NEVER WILL I SPEND MY MONEY IN SUCH A PLACE!!

This last time was the final straw. My pom mix has been to the clean dog a few times before with really no issues except the pricing seems to change everytime she goes. Because she doesn't go all the time I usually dont say much but now that I'm probably not going to return I will lay it all here in the review to hopefully help the next. I took my pom in yesterday for a flea bath. The week before, she had been there to get a flea bath ,her nails cut, and teeth cleaned. I do not blame the original return of fleas on them as I wasn't as thorough as I needed to be in getting them out of our home but this second time. I had our whole home treated yesterday. Roxy left them with what they claimed was no fleas. When I returned home roxy was placed in a new area with a new bed and crate. I noticed she didnt seem herself as she only wanted to lay in her crate and nothing else. Shes normally excited to go for a walk or eat but she wouldn't even leave her bed. I assumed maybe she was worn out from the 2 baths she was given. (They said they did 2 because she had a lot of fleas on her) I then noticed she had a flea crawling on her. Upon further inspection I saw maybe 2-3 maybe 4 total. I put some topical drops and sprayed her down with vets best flea spray. By morning her belly and face and chin were covered in dead and live fleas. I took her out and bathed her again immediately. I called and explained she had fleas again less than 24 hours later and was told the owner would call me back. She did a couple hours later only to essentially blame her fleas on fleas in my home. Despite the fact our home was treated while roxy was gone. She basically said theyd bather her again but could not even guarantee she would leave their facility without any fleas. I get it if the fleas are still in my home but they aren't. They did not do a thorough enough job and if they could not get them all off they shouldve said that from the jump. I'm now out money and my dog is still miserable. I shoudve stopped taking her there ages ago when the people who referred me told me to ,but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. No longer... good luck taking your pet there.

I was looking for an alternative to Petco and Petsmart dog grooming services near me and am so happy I discovered The Clean Dog Inc. on Ralph McGill blvd. O4W.They have a new location opening soon in Inman Park. The prices are competitive, my Dachshund Jagger loves to visit for a nail trim, wash and shampoo.I now drive from Decatur but it's well worth a trip if you're near the Old Fourth Ward area of Atlanta. I have friends that also recommend TheCleanDog for Spa treatment, boarding and daycare. Highly recommended.

I have been using this groomer for about a year now and the work is ok; but I stuck with them to support my local businesses. This weekend I dropped my yorkie off to be groomed, and as I was on a phone call in my car for about 5 minutes my dog came running out of there establishment into 4 lanes of traffic. I had to jump out of my car run into traffic to save my dog from being killed. After dodging cars and chasing my dog, she finally calmed down, and I was able to catch her. I immediately put her back into my car and sat there for 30 minutes calming my nerves. The owner came out and said sorry about that, and that was it. ARE YOU SERIOUS my dog was almost killed and that’s it! How about an explanation as to why this happened so it doesn’t happen to anyone else! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN….and for anyone that does, make sure you ask yourself this question ….”Is my dog safe?”

In fewer words: a ripoff. I would go here often but recently found their pricing and workmanship to be inconsistent. When I questioned their pricing Maria acted like I had pulled the price out of thin air. I definitely will not be returning and don’t recommend them.

This place CUT MY DOG badly (been bleeding more than a week) and we had to call FOUR times just to get offered only $30 back from an $85 groom! It should be shut down. Check yelp- I'm not the first one with an injured dog.

I dropped my friends dog off too today at this horrible place. Pepper has razor rash underneath her stomach area and she can't walk .She hasn't eaten at all today and is not the same dog I drop off this morning .Please save your money and time ,Do not use this place ever!!!! IT WASN'T WORTH 80.00 DOLLARS

Ted is 'Excellent." However, do not let NATALIE touch your dog. She not only ruined my toy Poodle's coat (apparently never learned how to groom a Poodle) NATALIE also cut her skin in numerous places. I made the owner aware of what had occurred via pictures (before and after) of my dog. To which the owner apologized and offered to "try" to correct the damage to my dog. I did not and will not ever return to Clean Dog. After my experience with Clean Dog (NATALIE) I would have to say that Petco as well as Petsmart grooming is a step above NATALIES expertise. If you should decide to try this place out, do your pet a great service by confirming that NATALIE will not be taking care of your pet. I cannot believe she wasn't fired. Just confirms this business is sub-par to say the least.
