For the tools I frequently use, Ace is on the upper scale of prices so I typically don’t find myself inside their stores. When I do, their staff is always on point, very knowledgeable about the products in this store. They’ve gone above and beyond each time I’ve been there with not only helping you find an item, but suggesting a better product for your need or suggesting a cheaper similar item to help you save.

Most helpful staff of any hardware store ever. Knowledgeable and helped me find exactly what I needed and steered me clear of what would have damaged my engine (2stroke vs. 4 stroke TruFuel). Great shop when you don’t want to deal with traffic to get to Lowes.

Grant park ACE is awesome! The employees are so nice and so helpful! Highly recommend shopping here. Support small businesses! Thank you Derek and team for all of your help with my new lawn chairs. Note - extra parking in the back (and it is covered). They have a front entrance and a back entrance.

Stopped in just for a couple things but I was in a hurry. Right when I walked in, someone asked what I was looking for and walked me over to it. Saved me 5 minutes and was super friendly, same for the cashiers. I wish there was a place like this in my neighborhood.

I find their prices to be high but the service is so great that maybe the high price is worth it. I can get in and out of here in 5 minutes for even the most hard-to-find items!

Customer service on par with best ever! Small store, but fully stocked. Went in to have keys made and purchased other items while waiting. Thank goodness they were fast! Cashier carried my bags to the car as I've not been well and she could tell I needed assistance. Will definitely be driving past the other chain stores to come here in the future!

I frequent this Ace on a regular basis. I get keys cut there all the time, never had to go back because of bad keys always good the first time around. I also love picking up my Mrs. Meyers cleaning products there, they are always in stock.

Just the friendliest and most helpful neighborhood hardware store! I had an issue with a metal bed frame I purchased online, came in here asking for advice, and Graham took a pair of heavy duty pliers and fixed my problem right way. Didn't even make me buy pliers thought I would've happily bought it. I'll be coming here for all of my hardware and gardening needs. Well staffed and super friendly team! Store is clean and well organized. Every time I go to Home Depot, I can never find anyone to help, and when I do, I get one word answers. There's something special about the neighborhood hardware store and we should all support them!

I contacted this ace several times in the last few days, asking to see footage from their cctv of my rental car getting hit and ran in the covered parking garage behind their store. It was after store hours, and I’m now traveling and can’t physically go in to ask. Each time I have contacted, on separate days, they say their cameras are down and nothing is being done about getting them back on. You mean to tell me this business with high priced inventory, in the middle of downtown Atlanta, is operating for days without surveillance? Has no one had the audacity to fix the issue or do they just not want to help me obtain a 15 second clip? Not so helpful hardware.

Same owners as the midtown location, which I used to live next to. Love the selection and the employees are always friendly and helpful. Manager is great, been seeing him for several years. Make sure to grab a king of pops on your way out and stop by the Grant Park Marker.

Wonderful store. Always super helpful and amazing service. You can park in the Larkin lot and employees will bring your stuff to your car. Prices are reasonable, not sure what an earlier reviewer was whining about. Ditch the big box stores (you won’t miss the experience of an apathetic Lowe’s highschool employee vaguely pointing toward a random aisle when you ask for help, I promise). We buy their firewood, and it is worth the few extra bucks a bundle - kiln dried and minimal smoke.

I appreciated having another hardware store option to utilize. However, I have encountered a problem every time I asked for help in this store and do not plan to return. The manager or relative to an owner of the store always pulls the person who is helping me away from me and says “There are hundreds of options and we are not here to talk about your options or help you with that” each time I have seen him. This time he pulled the associate away from helping me to go outside and work on a car that was in the parking deck. Where is his customer service? We are your neighbors! You may not miss my patronage, but I would rather deal with the zombies at the big box stores than return here and receive this treatment for the 20th time. I do not recommend this place.

Ace is the best! The professional, knowledgeable service is always a breath of fresh air. I'm so glad one has opened up in this area, so I can stop going to Lowe's, where you struggle to find anyone that works there, and most of them have no idea about anything. Note that this place is pretty hard to find. It's tucked away inside the parking garage, which is convenient once you know where it is.

What an amazing site! In typical, Ace Hardware fashion, the staff was very knowledgeable, extremely professional, and both courteous and polite. I didn't plan on buying anything. I was simply just looking around. I'm new to the area, and I just wanted to see what kind of inventory was available. I'm pleased to say, I was not pressured at all to buy anything. In fact, the sales associate with whom I spent a majority of my time actually asked me not to buy some gardening items until I was sure what I wanted. How refreshing! Ultimately, I left with way more than I'd anticipated (nothing), and, then, I went to put everything in the car (over $100 worth of high, quality hardware and tools). To only realize that I'd walked there....SMH!

This location has great customer service. Employee Ruben was awesome when he made my key a few weeks back, and today the manager Dylan was great. He was so friendly and a huge help with assisting me. I’ll definitely be back.

Such a nice addition to the Grant Park neighborhood. A solid selection of tools and need to haves for many situations. The staff are incredibly helpful, which is awesome.Downsides? Well, they are a bit pricier than your big box retailer. Is that bad? Well, for me, I'm willing to support a neighborhood place that has staff that are readily available to help me. There is a true cost to having help that knows what they are talking about, and being around to share that knowledge. I am more than willing to support that with my business, as they add value and help me make good decisions.

This store always takes care of me. The times I've been in the staff is always attentive and walks up to ask if I need help. I've ordered several items online for in-store pick up and it has always been fulfilled correctly. This store will continue to be my Ace Hardware location of choice.

Definitely one of the best hardware store experiences I have ever had. I walked in, someone was standing at the front door who led me to the aisle I needed, and then I immediately grabbed the item and got to go to checkout. The service is excellent and knowledgeable, and definitely makes a great experience. The store is also very new and in great condition, and they have a big selection with good prices.

Horrible!!! In my opinion, they do not deserve one star. They have no business working in 'public relations.' I mean, when I attempted to shop there, I felt very uncomfortable the whole 5-10 minutes I was there. They looked down their noses at me; like I had no business being there; as if I should have been cleaning out a shed or sweeping their storefront. They treated me as if I was beneath them.I will never go there again; even if it is the last Ace Hardware on earth. 😟☹ 😡👎

update- Graham just redeemed this store he went above and beyond helping me upgrade my lower quality weed eater. He got to the root of the problem and found a great fix by encouraging me to replace a whole part that wasn’t working for me. Thank you!*Beware* SKETCHY RETURN POLICY AND LACK OF TRANSPARENCY “.I’ve owned Stihl equipment for 20yrs with almost no problems, purchased a lower model Stihl weed eater from this location on July 25. Everyone was great but they forgot to ever verbally mention there are no returns under any circumstances. This weed eater broke on the second use. Now I want to return it since it is pretty low quality vs what I’m used to. Tried to reason with the store manager Carly and she ensured me no returns would ever be possible since it’s their policy. Luke the sales rep never informed me no returns would be possible! I wouldn’t have bought an item with this policy ever! I want to return to purchase a better model and they “stihl”won’t allow it…they said it was on the receipt but who reads that!! I want a sign and verbally stated!!

My two experiences with this location have been nothing short of a 5 star review. During my first visit a few weeks ago I had to come in to purchase a replacement shower head. Mine had broken during the first shower at my new home, so I was pretty happy to see that there was a hardware store within walking distance. Not only did they allow my dog to come inside, but the employee there (white male, about 20-25 y/o, brown hair, thin, can't remember name) commiserated with me on the poor quality of the broken product and helped me find a quick and easy replacement. He talked to me like a human and not a sales person which was great.During my second experience, I called the location to inquire about glass cutting. One of our window panes fell out as a result of hurricane Michael winds, so I wanted to grab a new one quickly. They unfortunately don't cut glass at this location, but they did tell me about other Ace locations that do cut glass. When I let them know that these were all too far away, they told me about a glass shop right down the road which I'll be going to later today.Friendly and helpful.
