On Friday, December 22nd, 2023 I had the most horrific experience with my Dog Dallas. I took him to Rexy and Roxy's Buckhead, to get groomed at 7:30am. I was VERY specific online in the profile that I had to create, as well as in person the morning that I dropped him off, that I ONLY wanted the hair around his eyes and butt trimmed.When I arrived to pick him up at 3:30pm that afternoon, after just having a 90 minute full body massage, I was a bit out of it, and was in shock when I saw Dallas. He had been shaved down to his coat!!!! I was rightfully upset and expressed my concerns to the SUPER unprofessional, Manager, on duty! She did not apologize nor refund my money.I went the next day, and showed the SUPER unprofessional attendant, "Deshawn '' and he took photos of Dallas and asked me to "give him a few minutes" so I stepped outside. I came back in and he said that he called "Mia" and she said "you were rude yesterday" and he could not do anything. I was only "rude" AFTER she was blatantly nonchalant with regard to what they DID to my dog. It is WINTER and they (Courtney Fields) took all his fur off and WITHOUT my approval. So much so that his ears are no longer covered, and his sweaters DO NOT FIT HIM. In addition the cut IS VERY uneven, especially around his eyes and neck. My poor baby. Mia is incredibly rude and they have not issued my refund.I have attached before and after photos of my dog as well as the filth that was around the front office area. SO DIRTY!!!If I requested a FULL refund of $66.00 by the end of business on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023, and have not heard from anyone.DO NOT GO HERE! I am going to file a civil complaint in Fulton County if I do not get my FULL refund.

I have been a loyal client for Rex and Roxy grooming and boarding for 2 years now. I waited for 2 weeks for Perlas grooming appointment. I wish I had brought her somewhere else! Normally, I am very pleased with Rex and Roxy… However, they have lost me as a client. I took my mini Pomeranian in for a full groom. I was told she would be ready for pickup at 4:30, I arrived 4:45 and she wasn’t quite ready as they were shuffling around to put bows on her. Once she was finally ready I had to rush out the door because I was late for my appointment that I had at 5pm. Due to being late I really didn’t pay much attention to the groom they gave her. Once I was home I noticed it was absolutely horrible, the worst I have ever seen. Rex and Roxy is an expensive grooming facility and so I called the next day to express that I was extremely unhappy with her groom. I asked for the following options… to be discounted, not pay for the groom, or be credited for a groom in the future. Paying $85 for a 5 lb dog is outrageous but if she looks super cute I would be ok with it, and tip them beautifully. However… It is like an amateur cut her hair and was not even qualified nor worth that kind of money! I know for a fact I could have done a much better job. They refused to do anything to make me happy and keep me as a client. Besides they told me I could bring her in to get it fixed, I told them it was already too short for a Pomeranian and don’t even know how they could possibly fix hair that is already too short, uneven, and looked as if she got cut by a lawnmower. Pomeranian hair should never be cut almost bald because it may not grow back in the future. I’m extremely disappointed with her groom but as well as the customer service. I probably would have avoided writing a negative review had management taken responsibility and offered some sort of compensation. Look at the pictures they do better justice then my review

Courtney is the best groomer in Atlanta. She takes diligent care of her clients and my pets enjoy seeing her each visit. She is always up to date on current breed trends and offers tips on how to care for your pet . The front staff and daycare staff are always smiling and showing they have a true passion for the animals they care for. Many times the manager goes over and beyond for customers at the Buckhead location. I will continue to support this small business because I know that my pets are in the care of puppy lovers & professionals!🐶

My dog is like my baby, I’m so protective over him. He’s been going to Rex & Roxy’s since he was 7 months old and HE LOVES IT! Like if I say “you wanna go to daycare” he goes crazy! Lol When I pull up to drop him off and he sees one of the care takers come out he try’s to jump out of the car window. My feelings were hurt because he leaves me with no hesitation! Lol But I know they take such good care of him. Also they have grooming services and the groomers do a great job! A huge THANK YOU to the entire staff!-Jasmine & Rivi

I started taking my boys to Rex and Roxy's on a neighbor's recommendation, and now I'm the one recommending them to others! The staff is very friendly and clearly care about the dogs. And my dogs love it there - they start crying as soon as I turn on the street and pull me all the way to the door when we're out of the car. They clearly have fun playing with friends all day because they sleep all evening whenever they go!I like that staff posts photos and videos to Instagram so I can see them having fun throughout their stay. Another big plus: my boys don't come home from here smelling like pee and chemicals like they do with warehouse style daycares.100% recommend!

DO NOT GO HERE! IF I COULD LEAVE LESS THEN 1 STAR I WOULD! We got our dog boarded here December 21st - 27th, 2023 and our baby came back with a terrible infection all over her mouth and had to go in for an emergency visit to the vet as soon as we picked her up. We called Rex & Roxy's to check in on her while we were out of town, and they said everything was good and that she was doing great. Just to find out when we picked her up that she was supposedly "scratched" by another dog (by her eye and around her nose) that they didn't tell us about and completely neglected her care. We have called and talked to them and they state that she only got a scratch and they don't know anything about the infection, even though it was very clear when we picked her up. They are not willing to do anything to help the situation and are acting like this is no big deal. Please save your babies from coming here!

Rex and Roxy Buckhead is our fur-baby's, Jewel, second home. I had no idea that anyone else would love her the way we do! The staff is super friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable about dogs, and will do anything in their power to make sure your baby is safe and loved! One of the things we love most, is that the dogs are not caged. We have no second thoughts about leaving her with them, especially since they post regularly on Instagram and we can see videos of her at play.Their well-deserved, award-winning grooming services transcend any other grooming services we have ever seen! Whether she is getting her "do" touched-up, a full groom, or just a bath, Jewel always looks royal and turns heads everywhere she goes. I have nothing but great things to say about the team at Rex and Roxy Buckhead!! From the moment you book your baby’s reservation to the moment you drop your baby off and pick them up, you will be met with service level that is beyond excellent! Mia’s personality is electric and she makes you feel right at home and comfortable leaving your baby in their care. Fabi is super spunky and usually waiting curbside in the mornings for drop off! Mary is a gem and goes above and beyond to care for my baby. She’s even gone as far to take video and pictures and text them over for updates on how my puppy was doing in their care. No need for video cameras when they post on Instagram all day and send direct messages via text. I’ve even gone to them for grooming and my baby came out a new pup, thanks to Tootie!! After going to big name daycares for years, I didn’t know service could be this great, and I will never go back. Trust me, you will be nothing but happy you brought your fur baby to this amazing place!

Loved how welcoming they were with my baby boys. Took them in for a grooming and THEY WERE PERFECT. Really had trouble getting previous groomers to actually spend their time to get their hair cleaned and free from knots and they did the job! Grateful for this place and their great work . Since moving to Buckhead, I have NOT HAD ONE DAY of quiet enjoyment. They put these dogs out as early as 7 AM and leave them out there constantly without supervision (7 DAYS A WEEK). It is literally non-stop barking , without stopping, for more than 30 minutes at a time. When I work from home, colleagues and clients can HEAR the barks coming through my call even though my window is closed! I can never open my window due to the excessive noise.Rex & Roxy - I understand that this may be a quick and easy buck for you but placing this “business” in the middle of hundreds of residences is extremely inconsiderate and selfish. Please consider the neighborhood, not just your bank account. Move your business elsewhere and shorten the time you leave these dogs outside until you do.- A PAYING BUCKHEAD RESIDENT

We absolutely LOVE Rex and Roxy's! The staff are extremely knowledgable, and loving. The show each and every dog how special they are and treat them like family, because they are. I am the biggest over-protective dog mom and completely trust my mini schnauzer in the care of the folks at Rex and Roxy's. We go for day care and boarding and he loves it. I cannot say enough positive things about this place! The location used to be a different facility, with different ownership, but TRUST ME - the new ownership, management and staff are BEYOND professional, knowledgeable and caring! They also upgraded and installed state-of-the-art security systems so you know your fur baby is safe. LOVE IT HERE!

I was a very loyal customer here for boarding and grooming for both of my dogs for about four years. Last August 2021 I brought my dog here for grooming when I went out of town for my Mom’s birthday. While I was out of town, my dog was suffering with an ulcer in his eye and no one notified me. When I returned they even called me to ask me when I was picking him up and still didn’t mention anything about my dog’s eye condition. They gave him back to me just the way he looks in the picture without a phone call at all. By the time I got there it was after 6, so the only place I could take him to was an animal pet hospital. This was very infuriating because it is way more costly than a visit to his primary care vet. All I wanted was at least a phone call and a friend or family member could have picked him up so that he could receive the proper care he needed. Instead, by the time I was able to get him into see his ophthalmologist he had a very severe ulcer. His ulcer was so bad I had to give him drops every hour for a week. The manager Mia is so rude and had no compassion about my dog at all. She made excuses for them not calling me and still charged me full price for my dogs stay. Do not board or get your dog groomed here. The staff is very negligent and I would be concerned about your babies well being under their care.

We love Rex and Roxy’s!! My puppy can’t wait to get out the car when we pull up! He plays so hard that he’s asleep in the car before we get home. The staff is amazing, and they keep parents connected via the IG page. The rates for daycare, boarding and grooming are also reasonable especially given the quality. Quite simply, I can’t say enough good things about them. Check them out! You and your dog will thank me later!

I dropped by two dogs off for boarding & when I returned this is my 1 year old poms nose! When I picked him up I was not even made aware what happened and no one had intentions on informing me! I noticed when I got to my car and quickly returned in and asked what happened. I was treated as if I was wrong for asking. She the lady with dreadlocks immediately got nasty! Stating that dog was not “fixed” but I informed the intake lady Mia that he wasn’t and it wasn’t an issue! I will NEVER bring my dogs back here! My dogs was basically starving when they returned home and smelled really bad! These people are not dog caring people! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Hello. I am a resident of MAA Buckhead. I am writing about the noise of dogs barking and suggesting a way for your business and our residents to coexist in a more favorable neighborhood environment.Would you consider setting a specific time slot/program that allows the dogs to be outside for certain hours in the day? For example, one hour each morning and afternoon.I am a dog lover, and I appreciate your business taking care of dogs. However, it is absolutely true that the barking noise all day for six days a week causes severe stress for the residents, who also have the right to enjoy a peaceful living environment.I use earplugs for at least five hours every day to partially reduce the noise, so I can concentrate on my work. I also have heard there are many other residents who work from home and cannot concentrate on their work. Our work at home is also a way to serve our society as your business does.I sincerely ask for your understanding and cooperation. I hope we voluntarily find a better way for dogs and humans to live together. Please reply to the review with any suggestions. A prompt reply would be very much appreciated.

I have taken my dogs to Rex and Roxy’s for over 12 years and have always been pleased with the grooming and the staff. My dog has also spend many days in the day care which he loved. Not anymore...I think their attention to customer service has fallen as well as the cleanliness of the establishment. I think the staff is overworked and their is little to no supervision from the owners. Now I will have to find another groomer which is not easy. THEY LOST THEIR GOOD GROOMER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T EXIST NOW.the picture of my shaved dog that I picked up today is in the red harness which cost me MORE money ... she wasn't ready on time .. and wasn't matted what's so ever and was shaved down because what I was told was " the new groomer didn't have the info saved from her last visit on how to groom her "... I was super disappointed at what would've costed $40 bucks at my old groomer for this shaved, no technique cut , cost almost double .. the front of house staff was super nice and even called the owner as I asked to be compensation somehow for this mistake of theirs and the owner-mia not only refused to speak to me but said that she would not even take a dollar off the cut because a "service was done" even though they admitted rhe cut was wrong and not what I had last time or even close. I normally don't post reviews but I was so BLOWN away by the first cut as you see in the better picture that I couldn't wait to bring her back and then to get this trash quick cut and zero customer service.. I hope they bring back their better groomer but this is ridiculous.

Rex and Roxy's has been amazing! As a recent Atlanta resident I was nervous finding a doggy daycare that could take care of my dog to the level I expect, but they have been great at putting my nerves at ease. They are so friendly and keep me updated on Stevie throughout the day by Instagram. Also love how they do fun events throughout the year such as the upcoming Halloween event. Stevie is so excited to go each time, and worn out by the end of the day!!

Not a good experience. Had 2 neighbors highly recommend for overnight boarding and made an appt for an “assessment”. They told me to drop her off between 7am-7pm for $25.Dropped her off at 10am and then received phone call at 4:20pm that she did not pass her assessment and to pick her up by 5pm. I called and said we would be there within an hour and when we arrived at 5:15 they wanted to charge me double at $50 saying I was late in pickup. We have our precious dog in doggy daycare at Central Bark weekly for almost 2 years with no issues …so very shocked she did not pass their assessment even though when we dropped her off and stayed for a few mins they assured us she would do great! I believe the young lady didn’t handle her appropriately and then wanted to say she was not a fit. I would be okay with her not being a fit until she wanted to charge me $50 instead of $25 as promised. Not an honest place. Do not recommend.

I had the worst experience at Rex and Roxy, Buckhead. I asked if they had experience with Australian Shepherds, they said yes. I asked for no more than a quarter of an inch off, just a trim, as you are not supposed to cut Aussie's hair short. She came out with over two inches off and looking like a different dog. Her whole undercoat was revealed, it was choppy and uneven. I expressed my displeasure and they were rude, saying they would not give me a refund unless my vet called to say what they did was dangerous to my dogs coat. As a good business, you should offer something for making a mistake and disobeying what I asked for. Everyone who has seen my dog has been astonished that she was cut like this. The lady who works at the front desk is as rude as can be. I would not trust my pup with these people again and I suggest you do not either.

I love Rex & Roxy’s! I recently moved from NYC and wanted to ensure my dog had consistent socialization through the transition. My pup Leo has done daycare, boarding and grooming at R&R and always seems to have a great time! I get to check out their Instagram for updates and they even have themed parties on the weekend. Mia and her team are extremely pleasant and make sure my little Leo is tired out by the time he gets home. Definitely recommend R&R for any of your pup needs.

I want to praise the staff of Rex and Roxy’s of Buckhead. We have had the BEST experience grooming and boarding our two treasured pups. The staff knows our name and the Nickel and Penny every time we use there services. They are very professional and personable😊.We are always impressed by the quality and abilities of their groomers. Nickel receives a perfect puppy cut every time. Puppy cuts take a lot of skill to do it right. My mom also uses their facility when her beloved pup comes to Atlanta for a visit. I feel bad for anyone who leaves not feeling satisfied with there experience at Rex and Roxy’s of Buckhead. That was definitely not our experience. We look forward to Nickel and Penny’s next stay. Our pups are treated like royalty by the staff. Couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. 🐕🐕🐕🐶🐶⭐️

My dog has been to daycare, came home smelling like cleaning products and bleach. Stayed for boarding and came home injured and with cuts. The staff said he was shaking in the corner but did not even call me. I sent pictures and nobody will call me back. Be careful here. No cameras probably for a reason.

We recently just moved to Atlanta and needed a new spot for grooming, day-care, and boarding. After researching and even touring multiple places around Buckhead, it was obvious Rex and Roxy's was the best! Everyone who works there is so nice and cheerful. They genuinely love dogs and every time I have to drop off our pups, they both run right in without even saying goodbye! I love that they have access all day to inside rooms and a nice outdoor area too. They upload tons of instagram pictures daily and we love checking our feed for new posts from them to see if we can spot our dogs! Plus, their prices are so nice and we love supporting a local business instead of a big chain trying to cut corners. Especially since most of them (including ones I toured nearby) just let your dog sit in a pee-soaked concrete room all day. If you are looking for a groomer, I highly recommend Tootie!! She groomed both of our shih-tzus recently and they came back soooooo cute and fresh!!! I seriously recommend this place to anyone looking for any services for their spoiled pups!!
