I come to the deli at least twice a week and every time I have to prepare to stand in line 30 mins to an hour just for a sandwich. It seems like they put their slowest people who don’t want to work over there. Whether they’re moving super slow, leaving the area for a good minute because they don’t have everything they need, or playing and talking with guest way longer than usual. Today they had one guy doing the deli by himself for a good minute. Why not add a 3rd person to help or just put faster workers over there being that it’s always the busiest area in publix.

plenty of parking (and it's level so the cart won't run away), easy access. huge store. friendly helpful staff. need more checkout clerks, can be only 2 registers and it's the weekend busy.nice deli, but UNDERSTAFFED! whether it's getting a sandwich made, trying to get something from the prepared foods, or trying to get meat/cheese sliced, there ARE NOT ENOUGH STAFF AT ANY SECTION, the lines are long and slow. that's what I knocked off the star for.otherwise it's a good Publix.

Located in a building of beautifully vintage architecture, this Publix is just what you'd expect. We were in and out pretty quickly, as we only needed two items from the pharmacy area. My only point of feedback would be: the checkout lines were super-long (granted the store seemed extremely crowded) and the self-check lines were disorganized, with two of them hung-up with an "out of order" status. If they tighten that piece up, future visits will be perfect.

This was my first visit to the bakery. I am so thankful to the bakery worker with a Jamaican accent, so sorry I did not get her name. She accommodated me picking up my cake order early. I did see her get reprimanded by who I perceive was her supervisor, which is a shame. I hope that this woman’s kindness was not met with getting in trouble. I really appreciate her help and She did a great job!

YES!!! It is finally open though the other remaining buildings are under construction. The parking is spacious and there is underground or lower level parking as well. Just be careful the entrance into the plaza is a little narrow. When you go in, there is an entrance and exit, bakery is all the way in the left corner of the store away from the busy produce and sandwhich section, I was told you can make your cake orders there and pick it up at a more convenient location, the customer service area. You will notice the store has two levels... one for the typical grocery shopping experience, and another is an upper loft space with additional bathrooms, sink, microwave, couches, and tables. Kind of an eatery style area for those on the run who would like to eat at the store or for my case, to duck away and relax, snack while allowing mom to take her time grocery shopping.Almost all refrigerated items are neatly tucked and stored behind glass doors. When you first go in, there is the famous Deli area where you can get your fill of sandwhiches, chicken, salads, cheeses, and even sushi. For those in a rush to the right of that area contains curated quick ready to eat or microwave meal options.Everything else is super! There is a pharmacy(no drive thru) and Floral dept. Seafood is small but sufficient.

Big fan of Publix and this store being 1.7 miles from our place is amazing! While it’s not here in Castleberry Hill, it’s closer and super convenient w/ a lower parking deck, which is nice in inclement weather. The store layout is a bit different, but they all are 😆 (use the app!). I’ve always thought Publix was one of the nicest stores 💚, but this one is the nicest I’ve ever seen!Went today, opening day at lunchtime and it was busy, but not overly so and not even a wait at checkout. Curious to see how the deli counter lines will be handled (again, use the app & order for pickup ).Lots of executives there today and tons of smiles! It’s taken awhile to get closer access to grocery in an area noted as a food desert for too long, but it’s finally happened 💚 Great job Publix!Looking forward to the Summerhill BRT MARTA line that will make it even more convenient for so many, including GA State students!

I placed an online order for a wrap from the deli at 11:31am and it was supposed to be ready at 12:00pm. I was in the store waiting on my wrap for over an hour. I didn't receive it until 1:15. There were several customers waiting for an extended period of time for their orders as well. I was on my lunch break and should not have been away from work for as long as I was. It was an extreme inconvenience. I asked about my order several times and they just kept telling me that it would be ready soon. They tried to blame the long wait time on employees calling out. I spoke to the deli manager and the produce manager about my concerns. They apologized, but that was the gist of it. After speaking with the deli manager I, along with a couple other customers that were waitng on their orders as well, was standing near the door waiting for them to prepare my sandwich and bring it out to me, one of the employees walked out the from the back and very rudely said "What are y'all looking at?" "Why y'all just standing there?" I told him that he was being rude and he just continued to speak rudely to us. It's bad enough that had been waiting for so long, but for him to come out and be so rude just made it worse. I attempted to speak with the store manager and he never came to speak with me. Another employee even walked me upstairs to where his office was. I stood in the dining area while he went into his office to speak with him about the situation. He never came out to speak with me nor did he or anyone else offer to do anything for me for my inconvevenience. This was very upsetting for me. I am genuinely displeased with Publix and the service that I received today. I work right up the street from this location and shop there often, but this experience has completely turned me against ever coming here again. While I was waiting on my sandwich I had picked up a few other items to purchase as well, but I was so upset and disappointed that I no longer wanted to purchase or spend my money here. So I left with my sandwich only. I need for something to be done about this. It is absolutely ridiculous for me to have to wait for over an hour to receive my order. Please get back to me as soon as possible. It will be greatly appreciated.

I give up. I tried. I was trying to make this my weekly lunch spot, but the online order process is just so broken it's not only not worth it, but you will actively waste your lunch hour. It's obvious that whatever system Publix set up isn't cutting it.Sometimes it's on time. Most of the time it's at least 30 minutes late. I've waited up to 2 hours. So I can either be a jerk every time I walk in and demand where the order is to the employees trying to avoid eye contact, or I can stand around like an idiot for hours until (maybe) someone asks why I've been there for so long. Here's my order number 1825-5698, refund me if you want to help but don't ask me to call a hotline. This post is just me committing to learning that ordering from here isn't worth it. If, while reading this, you're also waiting for an online order, stop making online orders and find somewhere else to get lunch.

Why are there no prices on half the shelves in the chips area? How is a customer supposed to comparison shop by price?? Also scanned several chip bags with the app… no price shows! Please fix this. Why are call ahead/web orders never ready by quoted time? I ALWAYS have to go to customer service to get them to call to the back to find out where my sandwich is. Not a great experience.

Had to pick up a birthday cake at last minute. We selected the small Fresh Fruit Tart and a pack of candles. Everyone at the party loved and complemented how delicious the tart was. It wasn’t very sweet and had the perfect consistency. Love it!

Great selection, tricky entrance! The store had everything I needed (plus a lot more!), with a wide variety of products. Parking was easy to find. Just a heads up that GPS might lead you to the wrong side of the building – there's no entrance there. The prices were a bit higher than I expected, but that might be due to Atlanta's cost of living or just Publix in general, since I've only been to them in Florida before.Overall, a positive experience despite the navigation hiccup!

Very convenient, very clean, tons of parking, easy access, plenty staff, interesting layout. All this is expected on this side of town. Mirror this in Jonesboro and other hoods.

customer service is terrible everytime i come in and nobody is ever by self check out. every trip i take for a couple items ends up turning into a 40 min hassle where i have to chase down employees to fix a self checkout glitch and then they treat me like a nuisance. it's so frustrating everytime and i wish I could grocery shop without getting eyes rolled at me. Wish I could leave 0 stars

As much as I'm a Publix fanatic and a lover of the sandwiches... the employee by the name of Stacey (huge eyelashes) was extremely RUDE. I'm not sure if her hours were long and needed more help. However, her attitude was terrible. She left her coworker Silas alone to finish off the line. Stacy announced rudely and proudly that her time was up and she was "ready to go," and the last thing she wanted to "think about" was making someone a sub... in which, is clearly her job! I understand being tired and overwhelmed. However, it's unnecessary to be RUDE. For this to be the newest Publix in town, located in an up and coming neighborhood and to be treated so negatively, is wild.Thankfully, Silas had a positive attitude and made sure everything was handled properly without friction and attitude.I only gave an additional star bc of Silas patience and customer service.I wish the best for this location

The people working at this Publix are so ghetto. All the other Publix in the area have nice kind workers, and I’m not sure that this Publix got the memo. If I wanted to put up with ghetto rude workers, I would’ve went to Kroger‘s or family dollar. Some of these workers would be better off being seen and not heard. I guess it’s time to start shopping at Whole Foods. Certain people just know how to declass any establishment.

on 3/13/24 I ordered subs @ 12:40 yo be picked up @ 4:30 when I got there they wasn't ready! I waited for awhile because I can understand being backed up but after asking and not really getting answers someone told me they didn't have my ticket, now it's 5:30. I stopped a manager Marvin Johnson and told him what's going on and he had the nerve to ask me why I didn't pick it up at 4:30 duh I 've been there since 4:30. Needless to say that I didn't get my subs until 6:30.I was there for 2 hours. No one tried to compensate me for my time. I'll never order from that store again

I love this Publix! It's new and shiny. All of the employees are really nice and the selection that they have is more than most of the other options. The only thing that a bit rough is the parking on the main level. Underground parking is fine though.

I love the employees, pharmacists, and fast self checkout lines. There's not a wide selection of organic foods (mainly produce and meat), yet the quality is lower and prices are often higher than Whole Foods. I'll continue to shop a little there because I love the location and Pharmacy, but buy most of my groceries elsewhere.

PUBLIX PROMISE. For those who are unaware, Publix supermarkets has a policy that says, if an item rings up for more than it is marked on the shelf, that item is free. Additional items are the lower price. This Publix trains their employees to ignore this policy, and to take advantage of their customers, knowing that most of their customers are college students who do not know any better. Today I bought an item that rang up higher at the register. When I brought this to the attention of the cashier, they entered in several codes and then rang my item in for the lower price. Apparently it was my job to inform the employee of their company’s policy. This person had been specifically trained how to lower the price at the register. This training goes specifically against Publix policy, and can only be intentional and predatory. Publix Supermarkets pride themselves on this particular policy and how it shows they care about integrity and their clientele. This Publix is essentially stealing from its unknowing customers; taking advantage in an already difficult time. Shame on you. I wonder if the cashier with the most markdowns gets some type of incentive for saving the store a dollar here and a dollar there by taking it out of the pockets of their customers. This is not the first time this has happened. There is a culture of trying to cheat the customers at this location.

Just stood in line at the deli for 30 minutes, with 3 people ahead of me, I was expecting a damn good sandwich but they couldn't even deliver on that.Imagine being so lazy that you can't even make a sandwich correctly. How do people that move with the speed of a sloth even stay employed?I watched one guy put his apron and gloves on for 10 minutes like it was a sport.Don't even bother with the deli here. It's quicker to drive across town in rush hour traffic than it is to deal with these fools.

While this grocery store was needed in the neighborhood, the parking situation is abysmal. Though it is only a few minutes away from me, I avoid this location due to this but when i do visit, it's always hit or miss with service & products. I ordered a sandwich for pickup the night before and somehow it wasn't ready when I got there. After waiting a while and people running to find it, I got a sandwich with instructions not followed and stale bread. There is much to be desired with this location.

The Publix deli area is not a pleasure. It's a nightmare. I've shared this feedback with managers and customer service, and it makes zero difference. I've been in line for 25 minutes for a sub sandwich at 11AM. I typically order online, but even online orders struggle to be ready on time (or at all).Nothing makes shopping here less of a pleasure than first waiting in an eternal line with people becoming more and more impatient with the time they've lost to a frustratingly inefficient deli situation.Update: Hey Logan, I actually tried calling the store to share feedback, was put on hold for an assistant manager by your CSR, and several minutes later the CSR picked up the phone to greet me as though I was a new caller. She offered to transfer me again but I declined. What's the point? I've already spoken to y'all in person and clearly you don't address customer concerns.

I decided to shop at this location for my son’s birthday. I ordered the cake a day before picking it up and it was extremely stale. Not to mention the cashier was not helpful with asking if i needed any help carrying my groceries out to the car.

Nice, clean, and quick shopping experience. The stock seems, maybe even feels a bit limited ( compared to Publix on Ponce). It is a perfect location to shop for GSU students or anyone pop in on the way home (located about 2 blocks from the old Turner field Stadium).
