Went to just get distilled water. A very nice man named MJ (Emjay?) was stocking and offered to help me. He not only allowed me to take the boxes so it was easier, he was very helpful in general. Great employee!!!

I like this location and it has a dining area with a microwave if you are hungry!

Mj greeted with a warm friendly smile. Saw that I was looking for something and asked if I needed any help. I told u was looking for a specific coconut water but didn't see any on the shelf. He offered to check the back and returned with a case. He started to take the cartons out the box but I told him I wanted to whole box and asked if I could purchase the whole box with a bogo rain check. He said he wasn't sure and he had recently started working there. He then offered to carry the box and walk me to a register and said he would find out. Mj gave me great customer service and was very helpful. I love the fact that even though he didn't know the answer to my question he was willing to find out. Thanks Mj for going above and beyond. You're off to a great start. Keep up the awesome customer service.

Always clean, pleasant and professional and helpful people, from stockers to meats to checkers. Produce generally good ( maybe a bit tired this last visit)? and excellent meats and fish. Only place I will buy farm raised tilapia as I know they actually visit the fisheries and it tastes.fresh, not chemically like the other big grocery store. Farmed salmon is good too. No hidden chunks of fat in the beef cubes. BOGOs help me keep the overall cost down.

This is my favorite Publix Location/Store. I had a nice encounter with Amos, who greeted me with a smile and was engaging and friendly the entire transaction. And he pointed out I saved over $70 with my purchase! Gotta love BOGO’s! Thanks Mr. Amos! #Ms. Jackson #Educators-rock

We picked up a catering order Christmas Eve morning and for starters, ROBERT in catering was AMAZING from the day I placed order on the phone to when we picked up order. The vibe at this store this day was HAPPY, HELPFUL, FUN & SPIRITED!!!! We appreciate the clean beautiful store and one of the best produce sections I’ve seen in a while. Even the parking garage was an easy in and out. The location is great with controlled entrances and exits. We didn’t want to leave lol! Shopping was a PLEASURE. Thanks for the holiday cheer

I experienced food poisoning from their seafood department. I ate crablegs that smelled like ammonia and became very sick and had to go to the E.R. They still haven't contacted me regarding this issue. They said they would call me back that was over a week ago

I love my Publix! My pharmacist always knows my name when I walk to the counter. Always makes me smile 😊.I wish the deli workers would move a bit faster and more efficiently, but they are so kind and polite that you’re willing to risk it! ☺️ Good people!!

The service wasn't the usual publix environment. The deli staff wasn't under immersed pressure. But yet no one asked can I help you, said we'll be with in a moment. Asking questions seems to bother the staff about product. The ready to serve hot food did not look advertising. Big disappointment 1st time visit to New location, especially the area it's in.

This particular location was a very tumultuous experience for myself. The lady who is located in the very entrance of the store (Ms. Valerie), who handles “Customer Service” requests and etc. was a bit unprofessional and rude. I did not engage with her because her attitude was TOO rude, however my son told me that she has been working for the Publix corporation for 22 years across a plethora of different Publix stores. That was quite alarming for me because if she has made random strangers feel alarmed to come and handle their business with her, then I would not want her to be in the first place an individual walks in and see! She appears to be an elderly lady to which I respected however, Publix policy exudes the finest customer service, and I was absolutely appalled by Ms. Valerie’s behavior, to the point to where I had to visit a separate store to fulfill my “Customer Service” needs. This particular occurrence happens more frequently than one would think and I would really like for this to be looked into because people pay their hard earned money to receive their purchased things from Publix. I understand patience but rudeness is not what Publix advertises or advocates!

Surprised by the ample parking available for this store in congested downtown Atlanta. Other stores I have to wait to park and hate it. Store is clean and the subs are A+

Here in Georgia we have 4 Seasons in one month it just happened to be Winter on the day I stopped at Publix for Soup from the deli I like different recipes so the Kale soup w/turkey sausage was new for me it looked good so I chose the largest container they offered and I'm glad I did because it was delicious just the way it was made.

Nice deli sandwiches, but I waited for 30 minutes at the pick up counter waiting for an order I called 40 minutes ago. I was told to just wait in front of the counter. They were making the sandwich now. I waited as 6 people went through the line ordering sandwiches… still waiting.

They never seem to have tenders. I placed an order at 8pm for pick-up at 8:40pm. There was nobody when I arrived. The order wasn’t ready and nobody called me to let me know they were out of tenders. What’s the point of giving my phone number if you cannot let me know you can’t make my order? This isn’t the first time. Get it together

Really, really poorly run Publix Deli. Line moves glacially. Don’t bother ordering for online pickup - orders are frequently 30 minutes to one hour behind schedule, if they even receive your order.

Ok so it's a publix in an upscale area, you know what to expect. It delivers said expectation. Clean, has an olive bar, etc However, the traffic made me want to set my car on fire for the insurance money. If you live in this area and drive, you must enjoy chronic stress. The deli made nice sandwiches thou.

The staff here is great like most Publix stores are, but the meat department did a good job for me last week. I special ordered some flat iron steaks and they were very high quality.

Worst Publix in town. I didn’t think it was possible considering how consistent literally every other Publix is. The deli is always a mess. Expect to wait 30 minutes whether you’re waiting for hot food or a pub sub. The workers will look you dead in the eye and walk away. They also can’t accommodate orders, so don’t bother trying to get catering from this one. Apparently this standard of service isn’t limited to the deli either because the pharmacists is just as curt and dismissive. My recommendation: make the trek to Ponce instead.

Every time I come to Publix, I always shop for my meat and seafood first and the meat cutter, Christopher is extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful in assisting me with my cuts. I love shopping there because of his customer service.

I must say that I just received the most out of this world service in the deli. The young man's name was Terod. I have never been treated with such respect, dignity and care at any restaurant or food facility that I've ever eaten at. The amount of detail put towards one sandwich was mind-blowing in this young man needs to be commended for his appreciation of his line of enjoyment. I haven't even eaten the sandwich yet but I'm absolutely sure it's going to be magical just based on the experience

This Publix is the worst for subs. Standing in line takes forever, ordering in advance gets you a sub that was twenty minutes late. My last sub was actually bad. It also included mayonnaise which was not listed on the ingredients nor selected by me. My son is allergic to eggs so I had to remove his bread. Also, they often don't have items that are on sale, which is a real pain.

Love this local Publix. Always clean and stocked. New with an updated/different floor plan, than some other “older” Publix stores, in metro Atlanta! The Floral department was very nicely set up with many arrangements to chose from! Fresh small plants and many choices!I could and would chose Publix over many florists specific retail stores! Value and variety is within the same parameters.

This morning at the Publix located in Madison Yards, I was taken aback by an incident that continues to baffle me. To my disbelief, Santa Claus himself was asked to leave the store premises. Santa, in his jolly spirit, was spreading cheer with hearty 'Ho! Ho! Ho!'s and extending warm wishes of 'Merry Christmas!' to everyone around. However, to my shock, a Publix employee intervened and demanded Santa's departure. It's confounding that the presence of Santa Claus is now perceived as an affront to societal norms. Is our society so overly concerned with political correctness that the joyous presence of Santa Claus is viewed as inappropriate? The essence of the holiday season and the innocent joy it brings seem to be overshadowed by an absurd sensitivity.Shame on Publix for curtailing the festive spirit and removing a beloved symbol of Christmas.

Mr. John in the seafood dept is so rude and unprofessional. He needs to go! I enjoy Publix salmon so much but after his rudeness, I refuse to step foot in this place.

Publix is great as usual. However the biggest downfall is if you want any pub sub...be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. They definitely are not freaky fast. But good once finally finished.

Store is nice / clean but sandwich and deli service is a disaster. Subs take +20 min even with one person in line. They’re usually out of items like chicken tenders too. Complete chaos. Meat and seafood departments are good though.

This is a reply to Mr Baugman who believes it was Santa and the image of Christmas cheer that caused an employee to ask a man in a Santa suit to leave the premises. Are you that naive? Maybe you've been watching too much right-wing media. What business that caters to moms and their kids would allow an unidentifiable, unvetted man to wander around and possibly inappropriately touch a woman or child? Who do you think would be held responsible or sued?He could have had an assault weapon hidden in his costume. This is why companies that want to offer a "Santa" to customers retain a business that specializes in that field. We no longer live in an age that allows anyone to dress up in a holiday costume that conceals their identity and use a business to hide possible nefarious intentions. My mom used to leave me and my brother in the toy aisle at Sears while she shopped. Can't do that anymore either.Maybe you should rethink your one-star rating for a business that truly looks out for customers and employees!

So, in regards to another reviewers' thoughts on parking. I agree, parking late at night, or in the dark, if you are alone and in the garage, may not be comfortable. The garage is well lit, but still, we are in the city, and must be careful. There is parking directly in front of the store, which is very open, and feels Very safe. See the two pics below for garage and open parking. The store itself is VERY nice. It is bigger than N Ave Publix, and probably a bit smaller than the one on Ponce. But it has a ton of stuff. There is a very good wine selection (see pic). For Publix, only buy wine on sale. There are two other options close by that also have good wine selections...Grant Park Market, and Kroger. Learn all three, and you will get great wine deals. The employees at Publix are, bar none, amazing. Always kind, and helpful. Sorry Kroger on Glenwood, but fortunately for me, I'll no longer have to visit you.Oh, regarding BOGO's at Publix. It is GA law that you do not have to buy two items. If you buy just one, you get it at half price. :)If you shop Publix correctly because of the above, you can do much better than K-Roger.

I am really grateful to have this store in the neighborhood. It is just the right size, clean, well-organized and well-stocked. The employees are exceptionally polite and positive. And they set up a special section in their store for Passover.
