I have never had less than an outstanding experience here. My own dog is easy and friendly. My son’s dog, while an absolute sweetheart everywhere else, has a lot of clinic PTSD from his shelter days. Dr. Fallon and her team go out of their way to work with us to get him the care and attention he needs while being extremely patient and understanding. I love this practice so much and can’t recommend them enough.

Love this clinic! I have 2 beagles and over the past 3 years we’ve seen at least 3 of the veterinarians- they’ve all been excellent. They’re knowledgeable, empathetic, and patient. I also really like the fact that they’re collaborative- they give sound clinical advice, but they also listen to feedback and offer alternative suggestions as needed. This approach really helps me make the best decisions medically and financially for my dogs. The office staff are wonderful too! They’re friendly, helpful, and very understanding. We’re always greeted warmly when we walk in the door, and they are genuinely happy to see my beagles.

I am so grateful to have stumbled upon this vet office 6 years ago! My pup seems to have more and more issues as he gets older, and working with Dr Manack has brought me so much peace and reassurance during this difficult time. She is she most patient and caring doctor I have ever worked with, and I’m so thankful for her and her team! Even when I have an emergency and have to see another vet, I don’t stress because the whole team of doctors and assistants are amazing and we don't miss a beat. The ladies up front are also fantastic and always greet my pups with a smile and make them feel comfortable during drop off.I have to add that I even moved to a different county, and still make the hour drive to this office (almost monthly) for the amazing staff!

Hands downs the BEST vet office I have ever taken my fur babies to. Truly. Prior to finding PFAH I always felt like I was at a used car lot being sold crap I didn’t need for my dog/cat. Not here! I’ve scheduled certain vaccines that I thought I needed for my dog only for PFAH to call and say, “just wanted to let you know this isn’t necessary because of XYZ” rather than just taking my money.I was most recently there for my senior and Dr. Hobby was so AMAZING. We’ve also had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Human (real name..promise!) as well. Each time we go there, whether it’s routine or something else, they are always SO COMPASSIONATE, not judgy, and really want to educate and empower us to make the best decision for our pets and not their bottom line.It’s also important to note that the front desk is the reason why we started using PFAH in the first place. The person who answers the phone WILL make or break a clinic and they make it. Not a SINGLE person who answers the phones is rude or sounds annoyed that you’ve called. I have never felt like I was being price-gouged or that the bill is unjustified. PFAH has my loyalty for life.

We have loved every vet and tech we have seen at PFAH. Everyone is so nice and comforting to us, and we really appreciate the level of care Tucker and Izzy have received here. We particularly love Dr. Huhman for her genuine interest in how our dogs are doing and how thorough she is in talking through tests, results, and any concerns we have.

We have been with Powers Ferry Animal Hospital for many years and 3 dogs. We absolutely trust them with our animals. The staff is phenomenal, very caring, genuine, and provide high levels of customer service. The doctors are thorough and provide many options not all of them the highest cost, they are conscientious and give very good care. We always get a call back from the doctor when we ask or after a visit to check on our fur babies. Very highly recommend PFAH!

PFAH is by far the most spectacular vet I have ever been to. I rescued a litter of feral kittens last year and brought them straight to PFAH for veterinary care. After getting them their routine kitten care, I rehomed 2 of them and kept the other 2 boys. Unfortunately, 1 of the kittens I kept became mysteriously violently ill. Over the course of several months, I was in weekly working with Dr. Huhman to figure out kittens mystery illness. We did every single test, X-ray and ultrasound that we could - everything coming back normal despite little man failing to get better. The compassion and care Dr. Huhman and the staff at PFAH showed me and my little Fred was something I’ve never experienced before - they were calling me weekly when I wasn’t in the clinic just to check up on Fred and see how he was holding up. Truthfully, it was an incredibly stressful and sad time as I didn’t know what his future looked like and if he was going to make it. However, thanks to Dr. Huhman’s dedication and patience in trial and error, we finally found a regimen that got my little Fred healthy and happy; He’s now almost a year fully healthy and absolutely thriving. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel to Dr. Huhman and the staff at PFAH for saving my little Fred’s life, I truly believe he wouldn’t be here today without them. As a result of the care I received, I started bringing my senior chihuahua to the clinic as well. While she was a much easier patient (lol), she received equally as incredible care. Do yourself a favor, and trust your pets care with PFAH.

I have had such great experiences at Powers Ferry Animal Hospital. As a relatively new dog owner of 2 geriatric dogs, I had a lot of questions and needed a lot of guidance at first. Recently, one of my dogs has been diagnosed with a chronic illness but PFAH has helped tremendously in making her feel better and return to her new normal. Dr. Huhman and the rest of the team have provided such great care and truly care about my dogs’ wellbeing. We have also seen almost all of the providers there and they are all great! I would recommend them to anyone in need of a vet!

My family has been bringing our pets to Powers Ferry Animal Hospital for over 30 years. I’ve recommend them to several friends who have become long time clients too. My dogs have been seeing Dr. Berkowitz for the last 14 years and she is the absolute best. She’s caught issues early on and trusted me when my gut said something was wrong even though tests were fine. The real test, though, is that a veterinary eye specialist told me she usually would want to see patients with my dog’s condition annually for a check, but since Dr. Berkowitz was her vet, she didn’t think that was needed. And another vet, who can mostly treat her pets herself except for surgery said PFAH was probably the one place she’d trust to do surgery on her dogs. I’d give them 100 star review if I could.

The doctors at Powers Ferry have cared for five of my dogs. We’ve seen many, many doctors there.They’ve all been excellent. They’ve handled everything from eating fireworks to car accidents to cancer. Dr. Miller was especially great with my cocker spaniel Caleb who had back issues. He significantly improved the quality of my pet’s life over his last year through acupuncture and other treatments. I will always be grateful.

Powers Ferry Animal Hospital is fabulous. Dr Huhman takes her time with you pet, explains things thoroughly and has great follow up. She makes you feel like she genuinely cares about your pet and your concerns. She’s careful and sweet with our older dog and I would highly recommend this vet!

We have had fantastic experiences here - they have taken such great care of our fur babies. Good veterinary care is never cheap, but in my opinion this practice is worth every penny we’ve spent there over the years. The reception staff, vet techs, and veterinarians (especially Dr. Miller and Dr. Manack) are truly wonderful!

The entire team at Powers Ferry Animal Hospital is wonderful! From Dr Manack and Dr Berkowitz to the vet techs and the team at the front desk, everyone is friendly, professional and informative during each visit. Dr Manack knows not only the history of each of my cats, but understands their individual personalities. She and the vets techs go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable during their vet appointments. Highly recommend!!

We recently moved back to the area after being in another city for 5 years.We have seen multiple doctors in the office but highly recommended Dr. Humane to anyone looking for a vet.Our dog has cancer and we are managing her symptoms. I can’t give the staff and doctors here enough stars!!! My pup is 3 years old and is generally healthy…. He DID get really sick right before we were leaving the country. 😬 Not only was he taken in quickly and treated but we decided to board him there for the next week. We were updated about his condition daily and we felt so much better! Thank you❤️

Powers Ferry has been an incredible place for my dogs. We’ve been going for a year and their care of my energetic puppy and my nervous rescue dog has been amazing. The front desk staff is so sweet and they always answer my questions with thoughtfulness. Dr. B is our main provider and is amazing with our two babies. I have been taking my dog here since he was maybe 4 years old (and he’s now 13). We normally see Dr. Manack and she’s so good with my old man and has been so fantastic helping us into each phase of his life! She’s very easy to talk to and I can tell she loves my baby and wants him to thrive and help me take the best care of him. Recently a tech recommended a food topper that she’s used for her own pups to help get my dog to eat his boring old man food and I really appreciate the knowledge and compassion the techs have for animals as well. I’ve moved further away now but still drive from East Atlanta to PFAH because they’re really worth it.

Very close to our house so PFAH is very convenient with a super friendly staff. They encourage you to do everything you can for your dog to keep him in good health.
