The place is clean and doesn’t have any bad smells. Staff is almost always super friendly. Today I stopped by to get some feeder fish for my turtle and some cat food. We only had to wait a few minutes to get the fish, the staff member came over and used the net to get some fish but then they started picking the fish out by hand(which I found weird). Anyways the staff was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about fish and turtles. She was super sweet as well! I will be coming back again!! They also sell crickets!

Please do not go to the groomers here. I seen many horrible reviews on the groomers here but me being naive thought it would never happen to me. I took my two Yorkies here just for a bath and regretted it ever since. When we first came they checked both dogs and told me where their were knots and they charged me an extra fee. I am fine with that. After getting my dogs they informed me I have a free $5 coupon and just told me it was just because. After I got home I noticed they cut my Yorkies 3 inch top knot that took 4 years to grow and his fluff on his tail. I also seen cuts on my dog. My dog even today will shake when he hears clippers. Due to his anxiety, and fear I have not taken him to a groomer yet.I called them about it and they told me the person bathing my dog was not qualified to work on knots on a dog and that person gave my dog to someone who was qualified. Neither employee called me to tell me they were cutting his 3 inch top knot. The manager informed me that his top knot had knots which was a lie seeing how I comb and tie his top knot up EVERYDAY.The fact that no one called me to tell me anything before they shaved my dogs, tried to hide it by not telling when I picked up my dogs and then informed me that the groomers who were working on my dogs were not qualified to do so is terrifying for a company to do.

Best dog grooming in Atlanta! I’ve literally taking my Shih Tzu mix puppy to multiple groomers in the area. They always had incredibly long wait times for availability and I thought they were a bit over priced for having a small bread. Someone suggested Petsmart on Ponce and I got appointment right away and was so surprised how great the service experience was! So happy I found a great dog groomer in the city!

Don't buy fish here, even if you can manage to find someone in the fish department after 15 minutes of waiting and asking for help. The tanks are always dirty and full of dead fish. The betta cups are always in especially bad shape. Nobody wants to see a rack full of dead fish in cloudy water. It takes days or even weeks of neglect for this to happen.

Victoria is normally really nice and great with Bruno and just responding and interacting with me it’s always a pleasure but yesterday because she lost her voice and maybe didn’t feel well she was nasty to me and my dog Bruno and did not complete his haircut. The manger who was there that we have never seen before was so overbearing and taking over I couldn’t even talk to Victoria to see if she wanted us just to reschedule. Bruno has only been going to Victoria and he knows her that’s why I only book with her he was uneasy and nervous with that manger. Before I left I asked Victoria was she doing Bruno and she stated yes if the answer was no we would have again rescheduled. Overall I get a voicemail saying Bruno bite him and they stopped the service I had to come get him because he was a bitter. Bruno does not bite not even my small children or people he don’t know what what did this manager do to my dog? I had to go to another petsmart and they completed the cut and Added different notes in the computer from what the manager at Ponce did. I don’t know what he did to my dog yo cause him to want to bite and was shaking and nervous when I got back to him but we won’t be back. Victoria you were wrong for how we were treated after we always patronize you. Do not take your dogs to this location

I purchased 4 Rubber Lip Plecostomus on 3/09/20. I did not add to my fish tank right away. On 03/16/20 my children noticed that all the fish we laying on the bottom of the tank. Yesterday all of the new Plecostomus fish were dead. Now that I remember there were 2 dead in the tank while the worker were getting my fish; Today we noticed that all the fish have ick all over them. I called Petsmart and spoke with April, told her what happened, she asked what kind of fish, I told her I didnt quite know the name. She told me what kind of fish because I didnt have my receipt she found it by my card number. I asked what was the process for me to save my fish. She stated there was alot of work to do. Didnt elobrate, just said it was alot of work. She says well im looking at the tank and dont see any ick on fish. While she is saying this she is asking a customer if this will be all and gave customer her total. I'm no physic but the last time I was in the store there was no register by the fish tank. Who then tells me she is doing 5 things at once and what do I want her to do. She offered to replace the fish that were purchased but I said the fish that I purchased from your establishment had the ick on it and contaminated (killed) my other fish. My children have had these fish for 3 years, I didn't even know what ick was until I looked it up. With all thats going on with this Covid:19 virus and how its affecting us right now, but I am very disappointed with the customer service I received and my children are devastated.

Everyone was very pleasant. The one minus is given because the groomer was late for the appointment and I was told the service would take 3 to 4 hrs. It was well over 4 hours. Probably due to the late start.

I’m leaving a review for Brittany at Ponce de Leon location. Most business I call, the caller doesn’t want to be bothered. Or you can tell they don’t want to be on the job. Brittany was a blessing to my family. I called to see if I could get a service animal tag. She let me know that I could go through my Dr. My cat officially became an emotional support animal as of this past Monday. All thanks to Brittany at Petsmart. I like the quality of service for my dog. But i hope you never have to contact Customer Service for rectifying an issue.They give you the run around. Everyone has to refer you to someone else. Then you get disconnected mysteriously each time you call.

I took my Pomeranian Ziggy in for a wash and trim. I told the groomer 3 times NOT to cut off his mane and to trim 1 inch off of his coat. She took the clippers and Shaved him all over down to 1 inch. It's a Disgrace!! Then the manager of the grooming area got loud and argumentative telling me; I must not understand the terminology! Wth?? Don't cut it off means "Don't cut it off!!"

A small but very useful store. The assortment is very large - the goods are displayed quite tightly in the showcases, the aisles are narrow. It is difficult to search for yourself in such a variety, so it is better to immediately turn to pretty sales girls. They are polite, very sociable and friendly. At the entrance of the buyer, they immediately unobtrusively offer help. I really like the store. Prices in the market. There are promotions. For more complete information on the assortment, of course, it is better to look at the website. On which, by the way, you can make an order, which you can pick up at this store tomorrow

Our cashier was a little not so friendly. As we were leaving my husband said, "have a nice day" and he replied, "ah ha yeah"- maybe he was having a bad day. You know what fixes bad days? Nice behavior.-At first I thought maybe it's me, but three weird interactions in the course of 5 minutes proved, NOPE, it was him. Otherwise, great experience at the store. If only my cashier had called in sick.

Very rude lady that we worked with. Refused to try and catch the fish we wanted because “it took too much of her time” and was very argumentative. My boyfriend and I were having a great day until coming here.. this was my local pet store that I came to but after today I’d rather just drive further. Im not typically the type to leave bad reviews but I was so disappointed with my experience today.

Came in for a few things for my sweet puppy. This young man Gregory saw me and off the top ask if there was anything he could help me with? It always feels good to see good customer service, especially with heavy bags of food and cans to pick up off the shelves. This was my first time taking my dog to get groomed here and unfortunately, I will not be returning. My dog is almost 2 years old so he has been groomed a lot and I have never seen him in such a panicked and anxious state than when I came to pick him up. When I dropped him off, I felt a little off because the atmosphere was a bit rude and rushed but I understand that everyone is short staffed nowadays and my dog really needed a haircut so I looked past it. When they were taking my dog back, they were literally dragging/choking him with the leash and he has never resisted like that. Usually when I take him to get groomed at my usual place, he happily follows the lady back but he was resisting greatly at Petsmart. Then, when I came to pick him up, he had drooled all over himself which he only does if he is severely anxious. I have never seen him like this when I pick him up from my usual groomer. I hate to think that the employees would treat the dogs with anything but love, but my dog's reaction makes me think otherwise. Maybe bring your fur babies elsewhere to get groomed.

Took my Mastif in today to be bathed and brushed and she literally smell the same way when I brought her there. She was not bathed and she was there for 5 hours before calling me to get her. I think they just brought her to the back and caged her. They didn’t even know my dog name. I would like a refund. I wished I had read the reviews to this location before bringing my dog here! Don’t bring your dog here to get groomed! Awful

this place needs to work on customer relations by it's employees. I took my dog for a wash and trim. there was a little matting around the neck area (2small clumps). The tech wanted to shave the entire dog. No explanation. he couldn't even say hello. Will not be back.

Stopped in yesterday to purchase a guinea pig but they only had one which was being monitored so it wasn’t for sale and tbh it was too big for what I was looking for so I decided on getting a Hamster . A nice lady helped me get her I asked if they had an estimate age I believe she told me 6 months but I hope she said 6 weeks being tho they live for about 2 years , as I searched online and most people say their not sold that old (6months) . I may need to call and double check. I was trying to ask the lady questions but she said she’ll get me a information guide . I wish I had a more personal experience and for someone to walk me around and recommend items for the hamster . But I kind of understand I came in maybe a hour before closing . I was trying to purchase the same food that was in the holding place so I wouldn’t have to change the food that she was already eating . But they didn’t have it so they recommended me to give her OATS for the first week . I hope I was given the right information on my new pet . I appreciate the little they helped me with though . And after much research I wouldn’t have purchased a cage front here because the cages are too small but hey I’ll get another and use that as a travel cage if needed .
