Our favorite location, Hakeem, is amazing with Maddie! He is patient and kind to her. Maddie comes home always playful and energetic. He never cut too much on Maddie. This location is always busy, so book your appointment ahead of time. I made the mistake and went to another location, and I will never do that again.

My fur baby gets all his services from this location. We have been visiting this location since he was 8 weeks old (new fur baby owner) and he's a little over 1. Being a new owner I had A LOT of questions and vetco made me ready to tackle this wonderful experienceI'm very happy with the grooming and vet care we receive and definitely recommend.

PLEASE DO NOT GET YOUR PET GROOMED HERE! I just left petco after dropping my yorkie off. She returned to me with all of her hair removed and is shaking and limping. The people working would not let me see her till AFTER I paid and once I saw her they told me that there is nothing they can do. My dog was obviously harmed here. She has no fur left and is shaking in this weather. Please do not come here if you love your pets.

Highly upset. Took my dog to get groomed yesterday and realized how different he looked. After picking him up, I came to terms that I would have to deal with his face until it grows back out but once I got home and started to examine him a little more, it was even worse! He was supposed to get a puppy trim but came back home with a CHOP. The groomer even explained what the puppy trim consisted of, explained that a trim does NOT remove length but this wasn’t even a cut, it was a CHOP! The face is terrible and his tail was even cut. This is sad. I’m extremely upset. He first went to the groomer Renqiue and she did an AMAZING job. This second time Ms. Renqiue was not available so I let Selene trim him and that is simply what it was supposed to be. Please see the pictures of my little Teddy . What he looked like before and what he looks like now. I never do reviews but I can’t help this.

The store is pretty well stocked given its location. Only bad experience was today with Meredith, she seemed miserable and was rushing through customers. The other cashier was lovely, seems she needs a non public facing role.

Always a great experience. PetCo Groomers are the best! Never disappointed! I book my appointments on-line, however, when I show up for drop off they always check you in, confirm your appoint, info, services your getting done. I feel 100% comfortable w/peace of mind that my sweet girl is in good hands.

I purchased 2 shark fish and they both died within 3 days. I had my receipt and a picture of the dead fish in my aquarium stamped with the date>All I requested was store credit and the lady, Ms. Cupertino said she could not help me. Its really bad business to loose a valued customer over 30.00 worth of dead fish but I will take my business elsewhere!!!!!

They took my fish and I’m grateful considering my tank had broken due to a winter flood.But they could have been more compassionate by perhaps giving me a credit for fish that were large and could sell for a good amount based on their size and age alone.This is the Petco I frequent but the reality is they’re a large chain so I get it.But I’m grateful all the same.Automated responses are horrible for businesses comes across as insensitive.

We were not given Ben the opportunity to see the vet today examining Stan, who is a wonderful friendly dog. The nurse escorted us to the examination room. Spent at least 10 minutes going over prices that she suggest which total $400 when we told her no we just want the basic she said I’ll be back to stand out the room. We sat there about five minutes. Then the vet doctor came in with Stan and said he’s good to go. He’s a good dog I gave him a treat and we felt cheated. We said we wanted to see you exam him did you exam him? We had a few questions what type of dog she thought he was or about how oldso we felt cheated. When we told her we wanted to see the examination. She said we had a choice. She said some dogs are territorial and I told her we never got the choice to see that so I was very disappointed as a result of that.

Don't use the groomer here, they just do poor work. Picked up my dog today, they failed to give her a full wash (she's a small dog, about 20 pounds). Waste of time and money (it took 3 hours for them to not fully wash a small dog).

Customer service was nonexistent. 90 percent of the fish had ich. They were trying go sell a Haitian anemone as a 60 dollar long tentacle anemone. I love shopping at petco but this experience and condition of saltwater tanks was a grave disappointment

I took my dog Big man to them for the first time this weekend and compared to other vets I’ve taken him to in the past I had a GREAT experience with vetco. From the check in until it was time for payment, everything was smooth. His veterinarian was EXTREMELY informative and answered all my questions. I don’t usually do reviews but this customer service was superb! They were gentle with my dog and considerate of my feeling as a dog mom. I’ve already scheduled his next appointment with them and we are so happy to call them our vet home now. Also thanks to the young lady at the front desk on 10/21 for being so patient with me as I didn’t come prepared and also thank you for applying all coupons available to me 😀

I have never owned a pet until now. Adopted a pitt and, at least, lab mix. She's around 50 lbs. and they're estimating she's 3 years old. Great temperament and she was completely house-trained. She didn't even let me finish putting the first blanket in her crate and she walked under me and laid down and has been at home ever since.This was my first time doing the professional grooming thing. WE are members of total care so we got a discount on grooming. Got the add on for the calming shampoo and the great conditioner and nail buffing and stuff. And, she got a bandana. She gets excited with people, cause she was a Stray and just loves discovering everything with a pac/family. In total its was around 65 dollars before the discount. Geat value!!!!!!Got calming treats, bogo 50% off! And, of course some toys.The staff in the store was super helpful and eager to get me answers. The associate came and found me to give me an answer and suggestion. He was in the fish section.Now, for Celeste, the groomer..... FROM THE DOOR, she radiated positive, friendly energy. She was confident and comfortable around the dogs. She met our baby and let her get a sense of her sense, spoke to her and started building the rapport right away. She answered my questions without hesitation. She had a "tlc-giver" vibe. Often. I've experienced, people in these positions are super dismissive and only working a job for money this definitely requires a love for it.Our baby didn't have a problem at all and didn't put up a fuss going with Celeste. She looked and smells amazing and she wasn't anxious. She was smiling and hype. She was about to fall asleep in the car though. Celeste gave a great vine and I can tell our baby likes her. Book her!I'm definitely gonna try the camp and training for socialization. I'm excited......can't lie I was nervous.Get total care! It's totally worth it. Her checkup is next week at the hospital at petco. I have points and credits built up again and will get some vaccinations and treatments for her, on top of my $15 montly credit. And, discounts.....These are living beings that you chose....be responsible and take care of your furbaby to your fullest ability!

Their grooming is wonderful they’re very good with the animals. My dogs were fine. They didn’t seem upset or anything after the grooming. And they did a great job.

I’m no longer taking my dogs here for grooming. When I dropped them off, I specifically requested for one of my dogs ears to be plucked to avoid irritation and infection. They’d previously cut the hair in her ears low which cause water to soak and sit in her ear and caused an infection. When I picked my dogs up, they did the same thing, cut the hair in her ears lower. They didn’t wash her face, there’s still brown marks from her tears and around her mouth and they cut her ears unevenly. It looks like they focused on my boy and rushed on my girl. I honestly shouldn’t have paid for her cut, but I don’t even get to see the details until I got them home.

I hate to leave a bad review, but the Vetco is extremely unhelpful.Instead send you emails so you can save tracks of what’s going with your pet, they will call you and when you go there, someone else will tell you something different. Every business I know send email so there is no miscommunication. I asked multiple times if I could have an email explaining to me the results of my cats $804 bill , and I never have an answer. They don’t care about how clients fell. I left over there extremely confused and dissatisfied.

This is the worst spot ever. I had made an appointment for my beautiful dog. The man is looking at my dog with disgust. He didn't want to help with the grooming or bathe. Calling my dog aggressive. She was just walking around smelling the floor. The customer service was awful. No one greeted me. I will not return.

Service is lousy! I came in to get fish , one person ahead of me being helped another sales person, Mercedes.comes up and said she cannot help me because she too was helping this same guy. So he had 2 persons helping him and I no one. Finally after 10 mins.i got a person in another area to help. Why would 2 people be helping one customer????

This is my 2nd review, third visit, and this time I was disappointed and dissatisfied. I scheduled my puppy for her first haircut 2 days ago and the stylist refused to do it. The person doing an intake was trying to talk me out of it when I dropped her off and when her stylist arrived she also told me that I should wait. No good reason other than she might be scared. That is the purpose of getting her groomed so she can be table trained and learned how to get groomed. This same stylist who refused to do it was the one who originally told me to bring her in at 6 months for a cut and I did. They charged me for the cut, I noticed it and had then they had to remove it. When I brought my puppy in, they had some sort of meeting, so I think the stylist did a rush job. I also think they told me she needed to wait simply because they did not want to deal with it. I asked for the hair on her face to be given the Teddy bear shape. They didn’t do that. She looked frazzled when i picked her up. I ended up taking her to a groomer at Central Bark in Brookhaven who did what I asked… cut her hair! They noticed at Central Bark that her ears were not clean, they did not remove her ear hair, and her nails were not clean or trimmed properly. So guess what I had to pay again to get her taken care of. If you want to see the job done right go over to see her before and after pics on my review at Central Bark Brookhaven Keep in mind her before pic was after an $80+ grooming session at this petco the day before. I also have a video showing how well she did. Sorry I had to leave this review but I spent too much correcting their job.

If you love ❤️ your dog please, I beg you. Do not take dog here. The doctor cut my dog open and stapled her together. The charge for spading was 1,500.00. I asked them, why didn’t you use stitches. They said staples were good enough. No medicine to keep my baby calm. She came home 🏠 but one later the staples came a lose. We told them, they said she is ok. She kept on her cone. They said show another picture. I did. Then they said bring her back to the Petco/Vetco They said this time we will stitch her, and use glue. But they 🤥 lied. More staples. Tacky work, plus a drain hanging out. $500.00 more. No calming medicine 💊 two days later. She had a bowel movement and her intestines came out. We live 45 minutes away. They said bring her. I was at work, my wife panicked 😱 my sons, daughter, and wife had to sit and watch my dog die slow. Her name was Belle. She was a Cane Corso. We brought her to the hospital and they said that it was a 50/50 chance for her to live. They told use if we wanted them to try to fix her it would cost $600.00 more. We decided that she was in to much pain, and enough was enough. They were very cold hearted. They told us that we had 5 minutes to decide what we were going to do. They charged us again $380.00 to euthanize her. The pain my dog had 😔 in her eyes. Thinking that she was going home. Not knowing she would not come back home to our family, because of these money 💰 hungry 🤤 fake doctor wanna b. This was a horrible experience. They all had smirks on their faces. The store on Edgewood is always so clean and nice. I absolutely love the services that my dog Mocha's groomer Selene provides. She is always so pleasant and did an excellent job trimming my dog.

VETCO IS HORRIBLE. Don't waste your time or money. Employees are bitter. They gossip about your pet from grooming, vet to training. Recently a rep lied about my pet needing medication. When I confirmed he had the meds they recommended, I was told he needed additional meds to be seen. I cancelled his appt. and have not looked back.Go to a vet that takes the time to learn about your pet. This chain just wants money and it shows through the mistreatment of their customers and pets.
