Very poor customer service at this location and at the corporate offices. I placed an order for in-store pickup-someone at the store called me to let me known it was ready for pickup. I had a family emergency and I shared that I wouldn’t be able to pick it up for about until the upcoming Monday. Granted there is a policy as a non-employee of Pet Supermarket I can’t say that I am up on all of their policies. My issue is that after sharing with the in store employee that I would be delayed in picking the order up she didn’t inform me of the policy or offer any work arounds (poor customer service). I contacted corporate customer service because the in-store service stated they could not help me with my order any longer. Corporate customer service was much help either. I am now out ~$90 for an order that was cancelled by them over a week ago and I still have not received the refund. I used to shop at a location in Decatur and on occasion forgot to pick up or would call them if I would be delayed in picking it up and they would hold my item(s) I no longer live near that store but I guess the relation ship I built with the store staff helped in these situations.

The customer service at this location does not exist other than someone ringing the sale and asking if you are a member. This was my 1st time returning to this store in many years as I lost my previous pet. Because my experience was always pleasant, I returned today to get food for my new puppy. As I walked in, no one greeted me. I saw a young lady associate seated on the floor behind the cash register on her phone, so I know my presence was known. I walked the aisle to find the dog food and ran into another associate who looked me directly in my face and said absolutely nothing. Once I found what I was looking for, I headed to the register to check out. The young lady got off the floor and proceeded to ring my purchase but ONLY asked if I were a member. I said no, and she didn't even offer membership information. There was an error with the tap screen for the card, but again, she gave absolutely no instructions. All she asked was if I wanted a receipt after my purchase was complete. I have no idea if this food is more expensive at PetSmart or anywhere else, but I do not care. I will NEVER return to this specific location, and I am willing to pay more for a pleasant experience elsewhere.

This is the worst company ever to purchase rabbits. My sister bought me a rabbit from the Buckhead location December 24, 2016. On January 16, 2017 it died from GI Stasis. I thought that was pretty strange but in my mind maybe it was stressed out from possibly not being socialized before purchased. This year on April 29, 2019, my boyfriend bought me a Lionhead rabbit. I was informing them of my prior experience, hoping not to go through that again and they (the manager and the "rabbit expert") were insuring of how much better they were and how they socialize their rabbits and how she has a rabbit, so at that point we were very confident in buying the rabbit from them. We named her Nala (hence her mane). But as of yesterday morning, I was waiting for her to great me on the side of my bed as she had been doing around 4 a.m. the past week and a half, but instead, I found her underneath my bed..dead from Lord knows what. I raised her free range as I did all of my rabbits. My house has always been baby-proof and rabbit-proof. Now I'm not a doctor or anything (yet) but I have worked in animal hospitals who cares for rabbits and I have had rabbits as pets my entire life and they've lived for years. I've even given them as gifts to family and friends. However, the difference is that I was purchasing those rabbits from rabbit farms (NOT MILLS but farms who professionally breed, raise and socialize their rabbits). I called the pet supermarket where I purchased the rabbit in Ansley Mall and the manager told me he was unfamiliar with this kind of situation and that he would contact the district manager. Still haven't heard from anyone. I don't know where they are receiving their rabbits from but they shouldn't be allowed to sell them any longer. It's a disgrace to animals.

My cats are hooked on Performatrin food and Pet Supermarket is the only place I can find that carries this brand. My cats are very picky and can tell the difference between the Performatrin and other brands. Plus Pet Supermarket has great customer service, a rep there recommended the Performatrin brand Freeze Dried Chicken Livers and my eldest cat Loves Chicken Livers! And there is always a really great sale going on! I'm going to be a faithful customer!

I love this store. The employees are funny and personable. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a ton of aquariums with fish, amphibians, reptiles, a mouse, and a bird. They have everything I need for all of them. My favorite pet store in the city.

This place is fine. Decent selection. Nice enough employees. Corporate policy on their rewards program was complete BS though. After X number of purchases of cat food, we were supposed to get one free. This seemed like a reasonable reason to shop here from a cost perspective, and this resulted in ample ancillary purchased over time for them.We finally get to the magic number of cat food bags, and whoops. They tell us we had one year to make the purchases and it tracked on a cycle like that. Our single cat wasn't exactly hammering through tens of pounds of food, so we weren't purchasing a ton in advance or unnecessarily. We were never told... They didn't caution.. it's just a year spent shopping here with the expectation of a reward for loyalty... And nothing. The manager, not sure if it was the owner? Was completely useless. She was almost apathetic to the point of insulting. Honestly, I look for a reason to have a great experience. She refused to give me one, or even to lend a truly sympathetic ear. "Sucks for you."You can find better customer service at the big box shops even. I'm making the extra drive elsewhere.

I hate this place. Overpriced and workers are miserable. Also Apparently their Apple Pay has been out since October. So there was a line of people waiting to pay and then wasting time to figure out they can’t pay. Then walking away and workers making comments about the paper work they have do now? Then they say they can only take plastic visa. Nothing else. Even though their signs say they take all forms of payment. But apparently they don’t. A sign stating this info would have been nice so I wouldn’t have waited in line to find out they only take plastic visa. I told them that and they thought that was a funny thought. So basically you can’t really shop here unless you have a plastic visa. Crazy.

Horrible treatment of reptiles. Visited and saw a dead skink sitting in its tank. If shipping for reptiles, please buy from a local breeder instead of this place.

I went in the store today and was assisted by the store manager Erica. She was so pleasant and sweet. Thank you so much for making my daughter happy today with helping out with her new Shih tzu. We will definitely be returning❤️

Staff members are always super friendly here. Needed dog food one night and they had just closed- a team member saw us at the door and came out and asked if we needed to grab our dog food as they hadn’t shut down the register just yet. While it is a bit more costly than other pet stores, the level of service and sincerity here make the experience worth it!

They offer a deal that's gets you a free bag of dog food after you buy 10 bags. I spent $15 to get an uber there and back. I came in and bought my 10th bag, having now spent a total of over $400 on 10 bags of food and they told me I had to wait 24 hours to receive my "free" bag. Complete BS. Never returning and regretting spending my money here

I absolutely love this place and would love to take my dog's Siri in there so he can explore in I can figure out more of what he likes to play with as far as toys and food. They are very helpful and informative about what you are looking for as far as food nutrition for your dog or pet. Thanks guys

Decent selection of pet items. Prices are generally higher than most other pet stores. I seldom see any employees besides the cashiers which can make it difficult to get help when needed.

Went here for fish they had a minimal selection wich is why i took a star off but other then that helpful staff and their little bettas were in their cups but the had bubbler and rocks in all their cups i wish every petstore would do that

Only one of them to just kind of glance and see what they had to offer prices are pretty high pretty much everything that they sell their you can get from Amazon and get it a heck of a lot cheaper but I think their stuff is very much over price and it's probably because it's a retail store and the rent there is probably very expensive but if they want to compete with online vendors they need to either have price match or offer some better deals
