Called the store to speak with someone about the donation drop box to see if non-profit rescues could be eligible or apply to pick up donations and the manager that answered the phone at 6:45PM 3/29/2024 was very condescending and rude.She said only shelters could pick up donations and I was very nice totally understood that as well as kindly expressed that I get it as well. I then kindly asked her if there was an opportunity to speak with a general manager for a possible partnership and she rudely said “partner with someone” and hung up. How nasty is that? I don’t know if she felt I was asking too many questions, even though I only asked two— but if people don’t know something or are eager enough to call and inquire about helping animals out at their non-profit— I would have hoped she understood that and could give a better suggestion in a friendlier manner or provide a more higher-up contact information and inform them that a rescue is interested in a partnership and would be reaching out.Overall, I would not recommend this manager for a Pet Supermarket at all. If this manager on duty treats non-profit animal rescues like how I experienced….She doesn’t need to be over phone calls.So now I’ll be calling corporate to report her rude, snarky responses and hopefully they can address her attitude, get her off phone duty or inform of her rude tone to customers and inquiring non-profit members that can steer people away from store.Hoping Pet Supermarket can further reach out to me as well to apologize on her behalf for my awful experience since we’ve also been a dedicated PS customer for over 5 years.

Every time I come in, I am greeted with happy smiles. People who truly love and appreciate animals and pets. Eadie helped me today and it was such a naturally enjoyable conversation which turned into a purchase. I came in just to look and left a happy customer.

I came here to get my dog a few dental treats and to show my toddler some animals. She had a blast! She enjoyed looking at the bunny, fish, parakeets, and cockatiels. When it was time to checkout, the lady at the front counter was very sweet and patient with my daughter because she wanted to do everything.

Best staff ever. We have lived next to this store for 12 years and our few times a week routine is to go and walk there and for kids to pet some animals.We recently bought a gecko and a bearded dragon and the associates there were super patient with us and not annoyed by the kidsAnswered all our questions.You can't find better pet store staff than this one

Customer service is excellent. Staff friendly, helpful, and assist with finding the right merchandise for our fur babies. I’ve frequented the one on N Druid Hills, Publix shopping complex. Recommended what Senior dog food with no fillers, and my dog loves it. Five stars💯

I go for the fish side of the store they have a good selection of fish that other box stores don't carry and they have bigger size fish compared to the baby-size fish other stores carry

Staff are always friendly and helpful.I believe this location had a change in management a couple of years ago (2019-ish). With the change in management I noticed happier and more knowledgeable staff. At that time, this location made improvements to their aquatic systems and care for the fish. Since the change, I have seen a couple staff members try to educate customers not to purchase a new tank and fish at the same time. It is refreshing to see staff explain the importance of cycling the tank prior to adding fish.As of June 2021, they now sell reptiles in addition to the fish, rodents, rabbits and birds they have always had.

I had a very pleasant experience with the salesperson Bailey. She was very kind , and made my experience great. I came in 5 minutes before closing and I was rushing because I didn't want to be that one customer who took forever, she assured me that it was not a problem and she was very kind and did it with a smile.Kudos to Bailey, we need more people in the world like her 😊-Audrey

This is our primary local pet supply store. We typically pick up crickets every Thursday or Friday (their cricket orders come in on Thursdays). Crickets are usually gone by Monday. If it's past Friday, I would call first if you need those creepy crawlies. We got our cats from there as rescues 6 years ago. I love having this store in Toco Hill and we love supporting them. Their exotic supplies beyond crickets are average I would say for a pet store of their size. Great selection of dog and cat food, toys and accessories. If you have pets in Druid Hills, I'd check them out. there seems to be a lot of turnover lately, but with retail in this economy it's hard to be surprised.

Super friendly and helpful staff. You occasionally have to wait for a cashier, but only because they are busy helping other customers. They don't just point you to an aisle and leave it up to you to figure out what you need. If something isn't on the shelf, they will always go to the back to see if it's in stock. I haven't bought fish in a while, but when I did they always had someone there who is knowledgeable about the different types..

Went to the pet store today to purchase the few fish. Two associates walk past me. Neither one of them greeted me or even offered to help. Normally when I come to the store it's very friendly. Today, October 1st at 9:30 a.m. This staff should be removed immediately

Their pet adoptions (3rd Saturday of the month) are great! Patty Scott and her volunteers are friendly and super knowledgeable. These are people who love animals and it definitely shows.

Nice store. It's a general store and employees have a general knowledge about the huge variety of animals here. I bought fish for an aquarium. I almost bought a turtle, but another customer warned me they carry Salmonella:) .. so not good for kids. The staff members are super nice and they help you carry stuff to your car.
