I had THE. BEST. HUMMUS on Saturday! Please bottle it up! The food is always excellent. There is something for the kids too. Even board games! Chill environment with such friendly staff! Outdoor area is WONDERFUL with plenty of seating and a GIANT beautiful oak(?) tree! I felt so relaxed in such a cool way! :D

Love this place. The owner is a great guy. And as someone who worked in the food & bev industry for 9 years, it’s refreshing to see an owner who doesn’t lay down and take stupid reviews from entitled people. Don’t bring your dog everywhere with you! It’s weird!!!!Coffee is great. Will return.

I was not expecting so much open space when I came here. In lieu of a parking lot (you have to street park), they have a big outdoor patio and yard in addition to some indoor seating. Definitely go here when it's not raining so you can enjoy the outside. They also have a lot of booze and decent amount of food options, along with board games and books. The only coffee on drip they had was their house blend. It wasn't anything special: had a hint of sweetness and chocolatey notes, pretty standard. I'm glad they served it at drinking temperature though so I did not have to waste time cooling it down.Super recommend this place for the vibes!

a total gem, a neighborhood treasure. community-centered coffee shop with a heart as big as their giant oak tree. hardly a day goes by without an engagement party, trivia contest, acoustic concert, pop-up shop, civic meeting, or charity drive. if every business in the world operated like park grounds, it would be a better place. as a bonus, the staff is empowered to push back against active stupidity, entitlement, and rudeness, which makes them actually excellent hosts.

Great experience and well worth the walk from Grant Park. We had coffee and breakfast and it was excellent. My partner had the hashbrown bowl and I had the Kirkwood breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. This is probably the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in ATL in last 5 years. Right on par with Emerald City Bagels. The coffee was good and strong. What a neighborhood gem!!! Well done!

Great Neighborhood coffee / food spot, with very reasonable prices good breakfast foods, beer if you want one, and more. Easy walk from the Beltline if you're looking from there. Oh, also a nice outdoor patio space too.

It cannot be overstated the importance of a business like this. It is one with the mosaic of its neighborhood. Locals are known by name. As far as the selection, there is everything: a long food menu, coffee, tea, and beer. The inside seating is air conditioned with Wi-Fi, and there is an abundance of outdoor seating that is very dog-friendly. This is a model coffee shop.Bonus for UGA Alumni: the coffee is a special roast from Jittery Joes.

Oh boy, I wish I'd read the reviews on the coffee before coming... and seen the owner's rude responses to the less than glowing reviews. The reviewer saying that the coffee is weak was not wrong. I don't think the cafe has a regular espresso maker. ( it looks like one of those instant espresso machines, but who knows). The oat milk they use also isn't my preference. As a coffee lover it's kind of heart breaking that such a cool spot disappoints so hard in this area. The space has lots of seating inside and everything which makes it stand out in ATL, the wifi is also good! TBH I would have made the trek over here and become a regular if they served better coffee.

ParkGrounds is a special place, particularly in fine weather. The immense overarching oak tree, the umbrellas and outdoor lighting, the ample shaded seating areas and power outlets make this a place one wants to spend the whole day. The service & staff are great and the food is simultaneously comforting, unique, and a real value. However, the patio is dirty. It needs to be cleaned of old leaves and the many spider webs, and on a regular basis. Also, the music is generally very good except for the Greek music periodically played every 20 minutes or so. Why does the owner feel obliged to impose this on his customers?

The bartender, Devyn was absolutely incredible. She was a light on a stormy day. She was attentive and knew exactly what I needed when I didn’t. The atmosphere was nice and chill. I sat at the bar and chatted with Devyn for hours. The tzatziki is out of this world… I ordered the chicken wrap with extra tzatziki. I’m a big Greek fan and was surprised with how good it was. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good conversation, a chill night, and a drink in hand.

Great little coffeeshop. They have a large, shaded, dog-friendly area out back where you can enjoy your coffee. They also have a good assortment of books inside if you want to hang out in the air conditioning.

Don't claim to be dog friendly if you can't even be people friendly. We were snapped at as soon as we walked in the door that dogs weren't allowed and directed to go outside. So we sat on the patio in the cold for twenty minutes and were never served. We drove all the way from the airport hopeful for a reprieve from travel and instead were humiliated in front of a restaurant of people and then ignored.

very happy they got rid of the non regulated dog park! I feel much safer knowing that respectable dogs will be on leash with their pet parents! Vegan offerings are large so worth the price and staff is respectful of plant based milk request. Im not left feeling odd for my request like places in the past. This change is for betterment of service and the dogs.

Parkgrounds is a fun spot to grab some coffee and a sandwich and let your dog enjoy some playtime. Service was quick and food was great. I got a breakfast carnitas burrito and my boyfriend got the turkey club. The burrito was large I ended up taking a good portion of it home for later. The location is prime, tucked in a neighborhood near the beltline but without the beltline crowd. They also serve booze!

Love the vibe of this place, the coffee, and the food. But while I was walking around the dog park, I kept seeing pieces of broken glass… after spending 5 minutes picking it up I literally had a handful. For me, the biggest perk of this place is the dog park, so I was a little disappointed that park grounds didn’t maintain this space to make sure it was safe for the dogs they promote coming.

I love park grounds. I love that you can order food, enjoy quality coffee, spend time in the cozy inside, its prime location in a cute little neighborhood, and the ample space to hang out out back with a bunch of dogs. I do miss the dog park they used to offer—we used to live nearby and our pup grew up coming here making friends and hopping up and down by the gate if we went in to buy another snack. When we visit now with our pup it’s a little sad not to let him hang out with the other dogs, but I understand the pressure from the community required this change. I love park grounds and the safe space it offers nonetheless <3

Our neighborhood coffee shop! We absolutely love this place. The staff, management, and service are fabulous and super friendly. They’ve got a fun menu and the best chia lattes in town, and their frozen margarita machine hits the spot on those summer afternoons! Our dogs love going there too!Parking: Abundant

Coffee was good, food was delicious, atmosphere was great. Very smart idea to have a dog park connected. Makes it very easy for people to enjoy their lunch and coffee while watching their dog play in the background.
