I recently had an extremely negative experience at Kroger. During my visit, I encountered several issues with items not scanning correctly at the self checkout lane. When I brought this to the attention of the attendant, I was met with a response stating that they couldn't override the issue without a picture, instead of taking the initiative to investigating by going to where those items were and correcting the error. This incident left me extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service, especially after spending an hour shopping. If I could give it zero stars I would.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the store. The people working there were friendly and professional. The aisles were not blocked with people stocking shelves as I have a problem with at the kroger in my area. I was able to fine every thing I needed and everything had the prices listed and listed the type of bargain that went with the item. I really enjoyed shopping there this morning.

At the Kroger on Caroline Street and encountered an extremely rude and obnoxious front in manager “Maury” or Maurice. I patiently waited while he and male cashier had a private conversation, I walked up to the checkout station, unloaded the carriage and not once did either guy acknowledge me, I guess the private conversation about some dude they didn’t explicit mess with was worth more than a simple “hello” thank you for waiting. When I “told” Maurice/Mauri not to mishandle/ toss my grocery bag/ he could have easily placed it in the bugg; he got exasperated and walked off! I proceeded to bag my own groceries. When the 2nd young man walked over as I finished bagging, he politely said hello with a smile! I wish I got his name 😀. Bottom line: why are having personal conversations while serving customers and then getting upset when called out on your less than premier customer service? Oh, it must be that entitled attitude of be happy I came to work today 😆

There is a reason why I absolutely don't do business with Kroger. Extremely poor customer service from the corporate all the way down to the stores. Even the less then one hand full of employees I know that are doing their job, some go beyond what's required of them, I just can't do business with Kroger or their subsidiaries. Today it took me 4 minutes to get a human to cancel a prescription that was accidentally sent to them. The girl didn't answer the phone right nor could she provide any help to locate the prescription. Just, that I have to keep calling back. That's an issue if I'm trying to get through the auto system to a speak to a live person and each time it takes 4 minutes and have trick the system to put me through. Enter wrong info to trigger it to send me to an human. This is just one of the reasons why I absolutely don't do business with Kroger, no one seems to want to do their job. They seem very irritated when customers ask them simple questions.

Had to have a 15-minute conversation with the store's supervisor about how Tostitos products are, in fact, Frito Lay products, because they refused to honor a coupon for 75 cents. It's not like this is insider food industry knowledge — it literally says Frito Lay on the bag. There are too many other grocery stores around to waste time with this one.

Sorry for the long post but I feel I need to get this off my chest. So I came to this store to grab a few snacks while I wait for my mother to finish shopping at a nearby store. As I parked and exited my vehicle I was approached by a gentleman that was down on his luck. The man asked me for some spare change, unfortunately I never carry cash. I asked the gentleman if he was hungry, he daid yes ma'am. I told the man to come with me in the store. As we were entering the store a black male manager approached us yelling at the gentleman that he wasn't coming into his store. The gentleman with me stopped and apologized and said ma'am "I can't go in his store." The manager then tells me "if you wanna give him something give it to him from across the street, he begs everyday and its very annoying." I turned around to told the gentleman to please wait outside for me and I will buy him something to eat. By the time I made it back outside the manager had run off the man. I said all of that to say this. You never know what shoes your feet are going to fit. You can say where you have been but you can't say where you are going. Becareful how you treat others.

On certain days or holidays the parking is a nightmare. I wish the parking was one direction in and out like Publix. Customer service takes too long, and there is always one person working. The gentleman that works customer service is really friendly, but the ladies they have working in that space most times come in with long faces and attitudes which can spread to the customer.

I hate this Kroger. On more than one occasion, employees have been unhelpful and rude.I also hate that the self checkouts accuse you of stealing if you don’t immediately put the item you scanned into a bag. Thanks, Kroger, for making your paying customers feel like criminals and contributing to America becoming a late-stage capitalist dystopia.

The Manager Maurice is clearly discriminatory in his practices when it comes customers. I purchased sweetener from another location the day prior that I no longer needed due to a canceled event. I displayed my receipts and tried to return my items of sweetener and he flat told me no because it's over $25 and that I would have to drive the 26 miles to the other kroger to return it. He became irate and visibly frustrated on the verge of tears because I called Krogers customer service and had the rep call the store. The rep when I spoke to him was confused as to why I would be denied returning unopened items with the receipt within the 14 day window as per policy and even offered me an additional credit for having to deal with the issue. If the job of a manager is to be unempathetic, easily angered, arguementive, then you have hired the perfect manager. He said verbally what he says superseded the Kroger company policy. This is what happens when the wrong person gets power and is in charge of the customer experience. I will be contacting corporate and filing a formal complaint.

Shout out Kaylen and John for making an originally poor in-store experience a great one. They represent what I’ve known to love about the Kroger brand: doing the right thing by your customers. Long story short, a price was listed differently and the manager on duty decided not to honor the listed price. I walked away from my cart but stated I would be reaching out the next day to give feedback. I’m grateful Kaylen was able to hear me out when I called and made a choice to honor the price.

Been coming here for 8 years. While never great in that time, the last 2 years have really gone downhill. Fruit and vegetables often are not fresh with flies and other pests crawling around. Additionally the employees are mostly rude and lazy not to mention the insane checkout lines.Figured I would update with some photos of rotting fruit and fruit flies from today's visit.

Good location but not even close to enough parking at busy times. The lot is also just badly designed causing gridlock. Produce is iffy - sometimes looks fresh and sometimes is all old and brown. The thing that annoys me most about this Kroger is that I always leave feeling a little scammed because the prices in the aisles are frequently not what you pay. Sale price stickers are frequently left up days past the expiration of the sale, prices and items are mislabeled, and products are put in the wrong places (for example the photo advertising a sale price for peaches but a coupon that is inaccessible when you scan the code and the item rings up as the more expensive price). Also anything that says $5 on the sticker is not actually $5, it’s $5 and some change, they just don’t tell you that… Lastly, there are frequently individuals panhandling in the parking lot or harassing customers in the store. I’ve been followed to my car more than once by someone asking for money. Overall, this is definitely a store people go to only because of the location, not because any part of shopping here is a pleasant experience.

The grocery store is very clean with fresh produce delivered every week the staff is wonderful and there are plenty of aisles with working cashier's to speed up time spent in the store.

you can barely get a human on the phone here and when you do they put you on hold the customer service lady puts you on hold forever and keeps doing it when you call back. I called asking for a manager and was very purposefully put on hold forever and then when I called Kroger corporate to complain they claim there's nothing you can do unless the person gave me their name which is hilarious because of course no one is going to tell me their name if they're putting me on permanent hold and not being polite on the phone. the pharmacy staff is awesome but the customer service desk at this Kroger is horrendous and I have yet to talk to a manager about the behavior of the people answering the phone at the front desk

This is only for the deli.Horrible customer service!!! I came in at 11am NOTHING was prepared the manager approached me not to tell why or they were short handed but to cuss me out. I came back at 12 only baked chicken prepared so purchased some. I asked was it done the guy preparing my food said I can't cook. I told a waiting customer I'd NEVER return, the manager said Churches is up the street.

Grocery store where open food is at a nasty dogs are allowed to come in. That is very unsantitary and needs to be BANNED unless it is a TRUE SERVICE DOG! A PLAY emotional support animal should not be allowed in a grocery store.

I just luv the US ! Kroger is a 24hr grocery store. I'm vegan & they offer alot of yummy alternatives. I get lost in their ice-cream section and snack aisle. They offer an extensive wine selection which is important.

The self checkout experience is so bad and I'm sick of it. This is why I never go to Kroger anymore and when I do, I regret it. Have to download the app to use the coupons, then the coupons don't apply, then you have to wait 10 minutes for staff to show up and shrug about it. Too polite to yell at the overworked staff and just walk out and leave the stuff at the checkout but it's so frustrating that it makes you want to.

Sadly, this Kroger location has finally completely given up. They very rarely have fresh meat and seafood out in the meat department, at any time of any day. I live literally within walking distance, but I can no longer shop there. The odds of them having anything I'm looking for have dropped sharply in the past year, to the point where it's a waste of time to even try anymore. I've tried calling and asking, and they'll claim it's open. I did that just now. The picture attached was taken about 3 minutes later, at 1:45pm on a Saturday. It's the same almost every other day as well. To be fair, the vegetables are generally of good quality. When we find other things we want, we often stock up because it may not be there next week.

I been a customer at this Kroger on Caroline Street for six years. I was treated like a criminal. The Security Guard who was a female stereotyped me assuming I stole my groceries. I was very appalled by her asking to see my receipt when she didn't asked anyone else to see their receipts. I'm call corporate in the morning make no mistakes.

Absolutely the best grocery store staff I've ever met! From the gentlemen in the deli who made the most beautiful sandwich for me, the woman at self check out who is so attentive and fashionable, and the people who get the carts in the hot sun and walk across the parking lots! I appreciate you all! You make our community great! The store is always well stocked and so clean! Thank you all!

BE AWARE, LOTS OF RATS🐀 & ROACHES! IT IS A SERIOUS RAT & ROACH INFESTATION THAT IS NOT BEING ADDRESSED! THE STORE ROOM IS FULL OF RATS & RAT POOP DROPPINGS! I SHOULDN'T BE SEEING ROACHES UP AT THE FRONT WHILE I AM PAYING FOR MY GROCERIES AT SELF CHECKOUT & CASHIER STAND! I WILL BE CALLING CODE ENFORCEMENT & HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO REPORT THIS!

On yesterday afternoon around the 12:30 hour, I entered the Kroger to seek help from an associate. My issue was that I had inadvertently left my cell phone at home, so I needed assistance to make a phone call to notify my daughter of the fact. Being a 75 year old lady, my hope was that someone would be happy to assist. Well to my surprise the first young associate was not obliged at all to assist. In fact she was so rude and unkind to me that I became upset and hurt by her comments but to add insult to injury she decided to tell other employees what she had did to me. I am assuming to get a laugh or to get someone to agree with her actions toward me.Thank God for two other beautiful souls, who out of the goodness of their heart assisted me. This kind young lady who helped me call my daughter and the manager of the store came over to assist and apologize for what happened. Thank you for your acts of kindness! We must be careful how we treat others and to the young lady who was unkind to me, if it brought you joy to treat me that way, that is very disturbing. It doesn’t cost anything to be kind to people. To help others, opens your heart to create even more acts of kindness. Don’t block your blessings young lady.

I generally like Kroger, but this one seems to be run about as well as the Target next door. The produce section was awful. I've never seen a store run out of sweet potatoes, but somehow they managed to. Lots of empty bins and bins with no labels or prices.

This Kroger steals from customers. I very regularly will scan items and have the price on the register be more than what was advertised. Always look very carefully at the price of what you are scanning. I will be documenting each time this happens moving forward and taking appropriate action.

It’s an ok store. I was very disappointed when I wanted some meat from the meat counter, and absolutely no one was available. Now mind you this is on a Monday at 4 pm. Where are the workers. No one. Even went and found someone to find the butcher for me. But stop no one came out.Be prepared to encounter homeless and others aiming for handouts.

I went to the Kroger Store located at 1225 Caroline St Atlanta Georgia on May 5th. I purchase a coffee from Starbucks located in that store. It was cold when I received it. I purchase it from the older lady that is in the Starbucks and she said that she had just made the black coffee. She put cold milk in it and did not steam it. I asked her to warm it in the microwave. She said that she did not have a microwave and talked very loud and angry and said that she would have to charge me extra to warm it up. Kroger is an excellent store that I love to shop at but this bossy angry older lady in the Starbucks need to be replaced. She do not care about the customers and is a very nasty person. A lot of retired customers come to this store during the first of the month.
