I’ve been shopping at this Kroger for years. If you shop here, check best by dates on everything! There is so much on the shelves that is way past expired. I can count at least 20 times recently I’ve checked on something I’ve just bought, only to realize it is MONTHS expired. Not the “sell by” dates, but the “use by” dates. I bought salad dressing only to find it was a YEAR expired. Just bought another product that expired 5 months ago. I have also seen countless products on shelves that have mold on them. I don’t know why no one is checking this stuff. I rarely shop here anymore and have started going to Trader Joe’s and Lidl instead for this reason. However, I still come occasionally as it is convenient. I will be trying to do as much shopping elsewhere now.

I came here to purchase chicken for an event we are having for first responders. I stood at the counter for approximately ten minutes before the man in the back asked me “what I wanted”, without even making eye contact with me.I told him I’d like chicken wings, and his rude reply was “no, we are closed today. Don’t you see all the catering boxes right in front of you? We have to take care of those. We won’t be open.”How was I to “assume” that the entire department would be closed? There was no sign posted.I spoke to a manager about this exchange, and he didn’t seem to care. A minute later, another employee which overheard me speaking to the manager went over to the rude employee and asked what happened. He lied about our exchange (which I happen to have on camera.)Since the managers at this location seem to cover for incompetent workers, I will be reaching out to corporate and sending them a copy of my video. This type of behavior is BEYOND unacceptable, and won’t be brushed over.

This location is great. They are always fully stocked, self checkout is swift and easy, and there's plenty of parking (feels safe at night).

Shoutout to NEAL in the Floral department for his W O N D E R F U L service. Not only were his floral arrangements simply beautiful, he exhibited professionalism unlike no other. Thank you so much for your help with my purple orchids Neal! They were beautiful 😍

My fiancé and I would like to send Warren in the deli & seafood department a HUGE thank you for serving us. We came in for oysters since we love them. Warren was polite, and genuinely made conversation with us during our shop. He went even further by bringing out the cart with more oysters that were in the back since we requested quite a bit of them. Warren carefully hand-picked through the entire bush making sure that he gave us fresh oysters. It’s really the little things that make the BIGGEST impact because usually other grocery stores will just weigh your seafood, bag it, and off you go but Warren went BEYOND the threshold of great customer service. We greatly appreciate you Warren, as we only shop at the Monroe location. It’s good to know that there are kind-hearted people like Warren working for the Kroger business. Many blessings to you Warren!

This is literally one of the worst stores operationally I have ever seen. Only reason I shop here is because of the location. Everytime I’ve done a pick up they call with some sort of issue asking to push the window back. You have hunt for someone to get seafood out of the case . Corporate take a look at this location it’s really tarnishing your brand.

The pic is of STORE manager, Tim, who not only runs one of the best Krogers in Atlanta (pertaining to customer service) but works amongst his staff, even with a knee injury to ensure customer needs are met. I had to beg him not to walk me over to the item I was looking for because of his injury. I just wanted to show my appreciation for this Kroger location and let you all know we appreciate you and your amazing service. I pass the Kroger on morsogo to come here….the deli could use better customer service but that doesn’t deter me from the entire store.

Brett is such an amazing leader. I shop at the Ansley Mall location often. Anytime I see him, he’s very courteous and greets me with a nice smile. He was extremely helpful to me during my most recent shopping experience. I was lost in the store, unable to find my item. Although a store associate was near to assist, he still went above and beyond to ensure I got what I was looking for—in my case, a replacement item he suggested. I appreciate his feedback, willingness, and assistance. Kudos to Brett!

I recently had an absolutely terrible experience at Kroger that left me feeling incredibly frustrated and disappointed. From start to finish, the lack of professionalism and care from the staff was shocking and disheartening.Firstly, the employees seemed completely lackadaisical and disinterested in their jobs. Moving about slowly and sluggishly, and seemed to be going through the motions without any real enthusiasm or dedication. Maybe because their staff consists of a senior citizen median. I found this incredibly mediocre as there was no sense of urgency in duty.Furthermore, the communication and transparency from the staff was absolutely horrid. When I asked for further instructions or clarification on certain dealings, the employees seemed annoyed and dismissive. Over the few weeks of calling and showing up in person to secure a formal interview, I was met with an heir of nonchalant resistance in which the hiring manager was never in, (Showed up 3 separate occasions) almost nonexistent and unwilling to provide me with the information I needed or provide the person with my information which I left two times. This was incredibly frustrating and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them.To make matters worse, I found the overall cleanliness of the store to be subpar. There were spills and debris on the floor, and the shelves were disorganized and messy. It was clear that the staff is a older seasoned staff just in auto-pilot to keep their lights on.Overall, my experience at Kroger was incredibly disappointing due to the Manager (White Overweight awkward Male) and the Store Manager (White Nonchalant, Dismissive, Airhead Operations) . The lack of professionalism and care from the staff, the poor communication and transparency, and the overall lack of cleanliness within the organization made for an incredibly lackluster spectacle. I would not recommend this store to anyone and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. In conclusion 0 out 5 stars

I hope that the Beltline expansion will push Kroger HQ to invest more in this store. This location could use a MAJOR facelift, an enhanced deli section (never had a good experience here unfortunately, but maybe that can be solved with training on how to use the slicer), and more cashiers. The Publix next door runs laps around this store, which is unfortunate because I’m definitely more of a Kroger gal. But even I will go to Publix after running errands at Ansley Mall because this location always leaves a weird taste in my mouth.

A good Kroger and especially convenient considering the proximity to Midtown - it doesn't have the hassles of the midtown/downtown stores. Staff is generally friendly. I wish the second set of self register checkout machines could be used more often, as the line to check out is often quite long. I didn't catch her name, but whoever was working the self checkout line Sunday 2/26 in the early morning was one of the most friendly people I have ever met! Thank you for your humor and service!

Kroger really let me down. I arrived at 7:52pm to pick up an online order that was to be picked up between 7:00 & 8:00pm. I had not received the promised message about my order, so I contacted the chat bot. Chat bot was completely useless. Then, I got back on the website and was informed pickup hours had ended. So, at 7:57 I went inside to inquire about my order. The manager informed me I was late and the online order employee had left for the day. I was not late. But I was without groceries for an important dinner. What a wretched experience, especially after a long day working in the ICU. What should have been a time saver ended up costing me more time and trouble. This Kroger is historically a nasty place, but I went there because it was on my way home. That impression had beenconfirmed. BTW, the manager never apologized. But she did laugh at me because I was upset. Wow.

There are a lot of Krogers in Atlanta. I've used them all. This is the worst by a mile. After driving around all day looking for lacrosse free milk to use a coupon with, I find it here. But due to a mistake in the fine print I technically couldn't use the coupon. The "manager" at the customer service desk implied I was trying to pull a fast one on them and explained coupons to me like I was a child. They could have been human beings and treated me like a human being. They actively chose to do neither. Avoid these people!

Lines are too long, as per usual for every Kroger. Not enough cashiers, only long self-checkout lines are open. The pharmacy will not even ring you up for ONE item when they have ZERO customers so you have to contemplate waiting a long time or simply pay the extra dollar or two at Publix for same item with the convenience of not having to wait unnecessarily long and experience quality customer service. Thank God there is a Publix next door.

I have never had a worse experience shopping in a grocery store in my life. If they tried to be more rude and apathetic to customers they couldn’t get any more unprofessional than what I experienced as a customer. Sadly, that’s the end of Kroger at Ansley for me. Luckily Publix is next door. Hello management! You have a train wreck at this location

Yikes. Spoiled grey meat and bugs crawling in a bag of bread I almost bought. I took the bag of bread to notify an employee, and all they could do was look at the bag and said nothing to me. Weird. If shopping here, be aware of expiration dates and things spoiled. I’m never stepping in this Kroger again. Glad there’s a Publix next to it for better quality foods and cleanliness.

Certain deli employees need to be re-trained about food safety and sanitary food handling practices. The woman at the counter on Saturday evening was sweeping up dirt with a broom and dust pan and didn't change her gloves before opening the deli case, removing meat and cheese, and placing them on the slicing equipment. She was about to actually slice the cheese when I asked her, "Don't you need to change gloves after cleaning dirt and before handling the food?" She looked at me and flat out lied, "I already did." I replied, "No, you didn't." Then she went ahead and threw out her gloves, left to get new ones, and continue preparing the order. She did not re-sanitize any of the surfaces she had contaminated, and obviously the food was compromised, too. (Not the focus of my review, but they were all out of wipes for the grocery carts, and the store overall does not appear clean.)Edit: I just spoke with the Assistant Store Manager, who was appropriately alarmed and promised to rectify the situation with additional training and understanding about potential consequences of poor food safety.

What is up with the short haired black lady in the front. I walked in this morning and she immediately gave me an attitude and accused me of trying to steal stuff. Then she 'offered' to ring up my purchases. There were 5 other people in serlf checkout and she didn't 'offer' to do that for them. This is the kind of disrespect I have never experienced at a Krogers and I hope to be able to escalate this up the ladder.

This is supposed to be one of the more pleasant Krogers in the area but my experience this morning was anything but. The lady at the front end watching the self-checkouts barked at me for bringing my bike into the store (a homeless man was sleeping next to the bike racks outside) and seemed put off by having to keep an eye on it as i shopped. Never got a hello or welcome upon entering nor goodbye or thanks as I checked out, just a blank stare as if she couldn't wait for me to grab my bike and leave. The only reason I shop here is because Publix doesn't carry No-Salt or sugar-free vegan chocolate chips. After today, I guess I'll be buying these items online. The ITP Krogers act like they're doing you a huge favor by staying open.

I've been shopping at this location for 6 years. In the past month or so, there is almost always something in my shopping list that is mis-priced and rings up higher at the register than it is labeled on the shelf. While the previous few instances have been rectified by the staff member assisting me, today I was argued with by the older gentleman that was monitoring the self checkout area who told me "well that tag must just be out of date." When I asked to be helped by the manager on duty I was sent on a wild goose chase around the store. Not happy.

The level of service at this Kroger has been horrible the last few months. They don't ever have more than one or MAYBE two lines open, expecting you to do self checkout. And when you do wait in line, getting someone to help bag your groceries is a dream. I have been a loyal customer at this Kroger for 10+ years but am willing to pay more at Publix moving forward for 1000x better service, scratch that, any service at all.

This Kroger is an absolute joke. Have placed two pickup orders from this location and both experiences were an absolute disaster. For the first pickup, I literally waited an hour an 20 minutes for the order to be brought out after calling the store twice. Was told by the manager that I would be given a $15 credit for the wait, which was never received. Decided to give them another chance and placed a second order a few weeks later. Drove to the store, waited 20 minutes, and was told that the system was down and that I would need to come back the next day. Save your time and do not ever go to this location as it needs to be shut down or replaced competent people.

Recently I purchased a lottery ticket at the Ansley Mall Kroger. I asked for 1 quick pick for 12 draws. I repeated my order 3x and even had the guy behind the counter repeat my order. He gives me my tickets and I go home only to find that he's given me 12 quick picks for the next draw. I go back and the guy that issued me the tickets doesn't acknowledge his error and refuses to give me for what I'd asked and paid—All sales final on lottery tickets. I asked to speak to management and got the same response. All sales final on lottery tickets. HOWEVER, it wasn't the incompetence of the Georgia Lottery that issued the ticket, it was the incompetence of the Kroger sales person that issued the ticket. Instead of accepting responsibility for their error and maintaining good customer relations, I got incompetence on top of incompetence coupled with subpar customer service. What a winning combination. So they lose my business from this incident along with the reviews I'll give them going forward. I hope that lottery ticket was worth the money they just lost.
