Every time I go to this Kroger I am reminded why I never go to this Kroger. I want to. It's the closest grocery store in my neighborhood, but it's just so mediocre. I ask for hand basket and the manager shrugs and says they're all in use while it's obvious there's not a person in the store using one. I'm waiting for a small local grocery store that's supposedly opening in Oakland City soon and I would recommend everyone going there instead.

This particular Kroger has the nastiest restrooms I have ever encountered. Now granted, I do understand that the store can get pretty busy and it may be short of staff, but that is no excuse as to how the women’s restroom was maintained. No paper towels, floor was so dirty I didn’t even want to walk on it, urine on the floor in one of the stalls, sink dirty, no seat covers, for the toilet (as if I would ever sit on it) yet and still. When you cater to customers from all age groups, sizes and nationalities, who shop there, get prescriptions and etc., the least you could do is keep the facilities well groomed.

Terribly disappointing experience two weeks in a row. Went to shop and the shelves looked like the pictures attached. The disappointing part is that the shelves were similar the week before. Trash on the shelves and around the store. Many items were out of stock on both occasions. Checkout is consistently a struggle here. Only one traditional cashier opened with two staff members manning ten self checkout lanes. There is staff walking around the store but nothing being done front of house.

This store needs to desperately do better. Kroger and Publix on Cascade Rd. have the worst instacart customer experience I've encountered thus far. So much so that I stopped using the app for many years. I started again recently out of convenience, hoping the experience would be better: not. After waiting for a little over 10 minutes for my order to be brought out, the instacart app directs me inside, which defeats the purpose of a PICKUP. Extenuating physical circumstances limits my mobility, so customer service attempted to assist me in contacting a rep with no success. I decided to cancel my order. At this point, 20-25 minutes have passed. In the meantime, a woman pulled up next to me over the last 2 minutes I was on the phone with customer service. As I am leaving, a store rep is bringing this woman her order out. She waited 5 minutes max. I'm sure there are many possibilities that could've contributed to this situation; nonetheless, I'll be nixing instacart and kroger back off my list. This kroger has a lot of issues... from long lines at night, poor use of self-checkout lanes, to piss poor produce quality, and inadequate item stock. Smh

Didn’t have most of what I came for (basic groceries), what was on the shelves was disorganized, waited 20 minutes with only two people in front of me and due to some computer glitch, my Kroger Pay didn’t work. I left the groceries and the store in my rear view mirror, never to return. Good luck, ya’ll. I hope others have a better experience.

Came in to return some Atlantic Salmon that had a foul smell and yellow film under the skin ! Obviously, I’m not going to eat bad fish so I wanted my money back. When I got to customer service the manager, Candace, greeted me with a nasty attitude and said that I could not make the return because it was more than 14 days ago… which didn’t sound right to me. As I’m getting ready to walk away because I just didn’t have the energy to go back and forth, I overheard her telling coworkers “he always do that” excuse me ? What was she implying ? Cause I most certainly don’t need to scam Kroger for a $8 fish !!! It was bad and I wanted my money back, plain and simple. Thankfully, I spoke with the store manager, star, she corrected this and I got my refund. Candace should not be working in customer service, her attitude is just as dusty as she looks. Terrible terrible service, rude and ghetto !

This Kroger is selling spoiled meat. I purchased a pork butt Roast and a package of individually wrapped Chicken Beast today that had expiration dates after Christmas and New Years. Today is 12.22.23. I opened the Pork Butt and it had an extremely foul smell. I had to dispose of it in my outside garbage and couldn’t prepare my scheduled meal. I then tried using the Chicken breast and they had an extremely foul smell as well. I’m extremely upset with wasting $30 and will not return to this Kroger!

This is the Kroger closest to my home, but I drive pass this location and shop at other Kroger stores that are far better (cleaner, customer service, availability of products, etc.) . I hate to say this, but the Cascade location has to rank among the worst. I stopped shopping there. I’ll either go to Publix or a different Kroger location.

Very dirty store. Many products aren't kept at correct temperatures. If you are elderly, pregnant, or sick use caution. The way food is handled at this location could endanger your life.

Standing in this long customer service line because the cashier could not be bothered to ask my friend if they had a kroger plus card. Seventeen dollars for a bottle of wine on special for $9. SMH

Why does this location have actual Japanese practitioners rolling fresh sushi but yet, we can't get any chilled wine like in all the other Kroger's? Why is the Kroger in Greenbriar 10Xs better and bigger? The rotisserie chicken looks sweaty and half cooked. And you can take actual bets on when/if the deli is counter is open. #oursideoftown SMH.

I shopped here for years, more than 5, and had all my prescriptions coming here. I have auto immune issues, nerve pain, and I'm on antidepressants. Out of nowhere, starting 5-6 months ago, they refuse to fill my NON-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE prescriptions on time. A few times this ended up several days beyond 30 days and I was very sick with side effects. Just now, I tried to fill a prescription for gabapentin - a noncontrolled medication for nerve pain - that was last filled on 10/12 and they will not let me fill it. I had the bottle in my hand and they're just telling me it's not true. They claim I filled it on 10/18 and I'm trying to fill it early. Accusing me of trying to get high. Insanity!! I just made a whole scene of myself and don't even care. And they can't even keep their store properly staffed. There's always lines to the back of the store. I shopped here and filled prescriptions here for almost 5 years and all of a sudden I'm a drug addict and they get to decide when I can have more of a non controlled substance! Last filled 10/12, bottle in my hand and they just repeatedly lied and said I filled it on 10/18. They are insane!!! I had to call the police to come up there!! Imagine this when I am sick and in pain!!!! And they're constantly telling me I need to stay calm?? Give me my medication I'm supposed to be prescribed!! Needless to say that's my LAST STRAW with ALL Krogers. They've gone downhill all over Atlanta! I am sick of being treated like this.

I won’t be returning after I was told I needed to move from going to self checkout by Jamiyah and Jaliya or Jaden (whatever their names are ) to an actual line because they said I had too many groceries. I just feel like that was rude and I had already been in line for self checkout so that was an inconvenience to me but I guess y’all will stay ghetto forever…. Idk why black people as a whole cannot stick together and be kinder to one another….

Worst customer service experience ever!! One cashier multiple machines down at self checkout. Lines down the aisle all the way to the meat department and at the first of the month!! They do this store like this because it's in a black neighborhood. The kroger in white neighborhoods have all lanes open

Customer service is a zero… the disappointment about the lack of customer service is that it’s coming for employees that are suppose to be leaders that are title as a supervisor… I know it’s a lack in keeping employees but letting them work without actually doing the work is insane

The store is ok but don't buy produce there. Strawberries rot within 2 days of purchase, lettuce is typically brown or wilting.Update: Produce is better, but expect to wait in line. Not enough cashiers.

The worst Kroger grocery store in the all Kroger chain of stores! Less than 1 minute of entry the power shuts down 😆. It’s quickly restored but the atmosphere is horrible, the lighting is dim, items disheveled across the isles, carts full of food not purchased and the checkout lines are down the isles with customers waiting to purchase! There are 14 cashier stations with 2 open! 3 self checkout stations working 🤣😆 Run, please don’t shop here!

As a loyal customer of Kroger, I was deeply disappointed by the poor customer service and unprofessionalism that I experienced recently while shopping at the deli department in the store.I am sorry to say that the deli department is the worst I have ever encountered. The staff members are unprofessional, rude and clearly uninterested in their work. They close the deli station down whenever they want, regardless of the standards and operating rules set by Kroger. The management too, seems powerless and incapable of addressing any situation, especially when it involves the behavior of their deli staff. They act as if they are afraid of the staff.I believe that the whole deli department needs to be revamped and trained. If Kroger is committed to delivering excellent customer service and quality products, then it needs to start holding higher standards when hiring staff like their competition, Publix. What I experienced at the deli department is not only poor customer service but also a lack of professionalism.Overall, I would not recommend shopping at this location just based on one's dealing with horrible customer service and lack of professionalism in the deli department alone. I sincerely hope that Kroger takes immediate steps to address these issues and ensure that such unprofessionalism doesn't continue.

Horrible store full of heartless people! Came into the store late with enough time to get my one item( baby formula) and the baby aisle was completely empty! I went to the front and it was 10:58 and I saw they had the formula at the front of the store locked up and I asked her could I please get one and she said no the store is closed! All she had to do was take 2 seconds literally! That’s ridiculous and no one should shop at a store like that!

I placed a pick-up order for today 10/08, between 2-3PM I came Here about 2:35PM to pick up my items. They couldn’t find anyone to get my grocery (not even sure if it was ready)..No one didn’t come down until 3:02PM. No one texted me when my items were ready.. I literally had to constantly ask someone where my grocery was and if it was ready. I don’t prefer pickup here. Doesn’t seem organized at this store. They gave me my grocery at 3:06PM then sent me a text saying it was ready.

Officer standing at the door refusing entry to customers 5 minutes before closing time because they were “trying to get the customers out of the store.” It’s very frustrating to not be able to get one item at your local grocer during their listed hours of operation.
