I was traveling through with my new pup who desperately needed a good wash. Popped into this adorable pet shop that had lots of unique toys and supplies. The owner and workers were so friendly. Loved the DIY wash station. Brilliant! Highly recommend here.

Placing online orders is easy and the owner is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. My dog loves all of the toys the owner (Toni) picked. If you have a bully breed (bull terrier), you will not be disappointed with their recommendations. Even though I live in Ohio, I will only buy my pet supplies from Highland Pet Supply.

Self-wash Dog Bath Station…Highly recommend! Affordable, clean, very friendly staff, full access to a large variety of shampoo/conditioner to in include oatmeal, lavender, whitening, etc. Very high water pressure (I realized quickly to hold nozzle against the fur) with adjustable temperature. Multiple towels provided. Very high powered hair dryer (adjustable setting). Even a few treats at the end when checking out. 🙌🏻

Let’s start with I always try to shop local first. When I saw that Highland Pet carried Wagwear boots I was pumped. I was told if I couldn’t find a color/size then they would happily order them. So that’s exactly what I did!2 weeks went by and I didn’t hear from them, so I decided to call. I was told with frustration from the employee that the order most likely hadn’t been placed. She apologized many times, mentioning they don’t have a great organization system for orders and that she would be working with the manager the next day.Since I again hadn’t heard, I called 4 days later and was told they would be in Wednesday. Well Wednesday came, and when I arrived they weren’t there. I was met with reasons relating to not wanting to place an order because they couldn’t get the proper pricing (coming from a fellow business owner, this isn’t the customers issue), that someone’s time has been more focused on their new puppy, and that this must have “inconvenienced” me but they had other colors/sizes available.I feel like a fool waiting 3 WEEKS for something I could’ve ordered online myself. Especially since I have to do that now anyways!The main reason I am leaving this review, is to highlight the complete lack of communication to their customers. I am disappointed that this will not be a store that I will keep in my rotation or recommend to my clients.

We came by to get some much needed supplies for our new puppy. Since she was a rescue, we got over $60 in free pet supplies, and a free bath! Regardless of the unbeatable freebies, the selection of healthy dog food, treats, and toys was amazing. The staff is extremely caring and knowledgeable, Hannah helped us find everything we needed for our new puppy. Can't recommend this establishment enough for any of your pet needs.

We came from Miami to get our new puppy! We came to the store looking for a pet carrier to fly back to Miami. The owner was great with us, she gave us different advices for our puppy and she even gave us free treats and food samples for our dog to try! She is amazing! The store has a lot of variety. Greatest pet supply shop. I have always been treated so kindly at this store (going on my 3rd rescue to shop there), by the owner and all staff. I live pretty far away, so I am not a regular customer, but that has never changed how I am greeted when I arrive. They have all the best top dog items and are knowledgeable in them as well. Plus they sell the very best and safest harness. Thanks highland pet supply.

I love their holistic perspectives on dog & cat nutrition. Toni & Ian are also phenomenal owners and offer training as well. Great local pet store with high quality products and lovely staff. My pibble mix has a sensitive stomach and I can always count on this store to have a variety of treats available that can fit her dietary needs. The staff are super kind and helpful especially when I was overwhelmed with my new, first time foster pup. Highly recommend the self-service dog wash. Nice clean towels, lots of shampoo and brush options. Shop local!

If I were a dog, this is the place I would want to hang out at. Wes, Kurt and Toni are always on point - knowledgeable and friendly with no hard sell. The prices are in line with online shopping so I would much prefer to support a local business. Added bonus are the staff's pups are often in the store to play with.

Love going to use their self service to give my dog a bath. It makes washing your pet so much easier and they supply the towels and shampoo as well. Just for $15. You get about half hr or 45 min to wash your dog. So glad they provide this.

Stopped by to pick up dog food for the dog I’m currently pet sitting. The owners live in the area but have two different last names. I could only remember one of them, but luckily Toni was familiar with the couple and was able to look them up in her system and get me the exact brand and flavor food they purchased last time. She even added the purchase to their rewards account even though I paid for it. It was the quickest and easiest experience I’ve ever had in a pet store!

While I appreciate the variety of items and prices, I will not be returning. The employee was rude and condescendingly mentioned the need for dog training. I apologize that my 3.5 month old puppy was not perfectly trained to your expectations, but do not work at a pet store if you are not okay with all types of dogs and levels of training. Will find somewhere else to buy supplies.

AMAZINGLY RUDE phone experience with the manager Toni this afternoon. I called to make an inquiry about dog training and was beginning to share my query trying to connect with Ian - with whom I have had several great conversations over the past year in Old 4th Ward Historic Park.Toni interrupted me about 60 seconds in to the call with "We are super busy today. Can you get to the point and what is it?"Yeah, no.Well Toni, if you had bothered to pay attention and listen, you would have discovered that when I called yesterday trying to connect with Ian for dog training, your staff member gave me your email address. I sent that email but it bounced back.If that is how you treat potential customers, then I won't be shopping with you again, nor will I recommend you to pet owners.Additionally, you just lost out on months of revenue from extensive canine training.Also - your website needs some serious developmental work. Good luck.

What would the neighborhood do without this place. They carry all the best brands, have a very knowledgeable staff that can offer advice on everything from what to feed your furry friend, to what type of bed, collar, or toys might be best. They also help whenever a stray is found, or when one goes missing. Just a wonderful business and good neighbor!

I visited this pet supplier for the first time today. While browsing I found a bag of my pet's food at a bargain price. When approached the check out to pay I was informed that the bag was mismarked. I requested the item at the marked price, explaining that is was customary for a merchant to honor the marked price and then make sure there were no other mismarked like items. One of the sales clerks replied that if Toni were present they could ask her about it, so I asked her to call Toni (since she mentioned her). A second sales clerk (she had long hair in two braids), curtly replied that they would not be calling Toni because she has been working long hours and had just left. She also said I was "making a big deal out of it". This is not the entirety of the conversation. I am posting a negative review not because the salespeople would not sell me the item at the marked price, but because I found the second sales person's attitude to be extremely unpleasant and borderline rude. If I am ever in the area again this is one merchant I will avoid.
