The door states they open at 8 am but the employee told me amongst others that since a sign was being posted OUTSIDE OF FAMILY DOLLAR. The entire store needed to be closed , make it make sense.

Today is Thursday, August 24, 2023 8:30am and the location is still closed! Google maps states location should open up at 8am! Only in the hood, location open after hours posted on doors and Google! Buckhead don't play, they open when they should! This is ridiculous, I have somewhere to be and will be late due to family dollar being over 30 minutes late opening the doors for business! That's why homeless people always sleep in the front because they know the store and management is a joke too! The female manager in the small burgundy car pulled up super late, gave the guy employee the key to open the door, and she pulled back off and didn't even go in the building! Guess she's off today and no manager week be in the store! Smmfh real real hard!

Closing the store and not allowing customers in with store hours and website stating 8p. And the excuse is the store gets robbed! Then close the entire store or get a security guard! This is just lazy and wanting to make sure you click out at 8p. If you don’t like servicing this area get out!!!

They close when they feel like it, not at 8 when they're supposed to. Been there 7:30, 7:45 before and the door was locked. There system is always breaking down. The old ppl that worked there were cool but some of the new ones got a nasty attitude.

Went in this morning at around 11:20 to get some snacks and redbull for work later. The store is a mess but nothing that stopped me from shopping, I got the items and I wanted and stood at the register for a couple minutes while every employee in the store was getting a stern talking to about not accepting counterfeit money cause they already accepted $260 worth of fake money. For one a customer is at the register….. check me out ? Second you don’t speak about things going on in your store in front of the customers. Third no one acknowledged me, no one said hello or we’ll be right with you… nothing.Don’t waste your time here. A crack head would be better help than that store.

Went here after class because it was walking distance from GT campus. Upon entering I was told I would need to put my bag behind the counter. No problem at all but she literally just threw my bag on the floor. NEVER have I been to a store that just throws your bag on the floor … my $200 bag on the floor. Make sure if you are a foot commuter to come bag less because that’s gross and seriously trifling.

Ok. I don't usually like to say the "typical "ghetto" neighborhood store" BUT... First of all, PEOPLE STOP TALKING ON YOUR PHONE WHILE DOING TRANSACTIONS!!! YOU ARE HOLDING THE LINE!!!!2. People just walk in, cut the line and ask the cashier questions about what'sbehind the counter...WHAT THE EARTHLY F#@$!!! Wait your turn like everyone else! Aside from that, the cashier was nice and friendly. I didn't get a chance to walk the store because what I was looking for was behind the counter- phone charger. For the most part, what I did see was a clean store and parking lot.

Short of help and a nasty manager. A. M in the morning. The evening staff is got the grace of God all over them. They give you a reason to believe they love serving the public. And you don't mind spending your money there. Be aware of the morning manager she will make you feel so sad that you made the trip. God bless you all. 😎

It is like any other Family Dollar, except there are no windows except the front door entrance, and there is a metal roll down door used when they close. Their prices are a little higher than other Family Dollar but it may be die yo location. Still, it is a necessary affordable establishment in the community in walking distance for many. Since Walmart is temporarily closed on MLK, this is an option, although not an extensive offering in comparison. I would return.

This is probably 1 of the only family dollars I've ever been to that was FULLY STOCKED!! The cashier was extra friendly and since there wasn't in 1 in line at the time, she even walked around with me UPSELLING and promoting their newer products!! I'm upset I can't remember her name but she definitely deserves to be mgmt and not just a cashier. She made my experience the best I've ever had in ANY dollar store type business!!!

Visited this store today with a long wait line for checkout with only 1 cashier. Someone behind me asked about another cashier and once that cashier opened up, he helped the person behind me. Totally unacceptable. Not good customer service!

I must share my disappointment with your company! You fired Anthony as the store manager of this store. The doors have been closed for 3 or more days because of this. You really made a huge mistake in deed. How could you! He kept the store running and alive. I enjoyed his staff and how they worked so well together. Bring him back please! He's a great asset to this store and your company. You guys made a boo boo😞

It's tight in this place from the parking lot to inside the building itself. I went during July and it felt like the air wasn't on. I saw 2 employees and only one was at a register and since it's so tight that meant the line was into the aisle. The guy checking out was nice but there was no real urgency. The other employee was close by so she had to see the long line. She just keep rummaging through a cart with stuff in it. I've seen a change in Family Dollar overall lately. No, nothing is a dollar but the stores are cleaner and seem to offer more than ever before. The oral care section is in large trash cans due to "construction". There's no cash back offered usually and when you can get it, they charge an extra $1. What? Why?

Very close to home. Reasonable prices. The Manager Anthony has help me a lot in finding things that I need. He keeps up with my Atlanta team. The Braves. Very good guy with great customer service skills. Some times the store does have inventory in the aisles. But other than that this is a great store. Just wished that it was bigger for clothes and more items to be in it.

I was horrified bye the interaction I observed between a manager and a patron of which was stealing. I'm not a stranger to having to deal with situations like this being in customer service in major cities. The manager like a vigilante took it upon himself to counteract a would-be theft. That situation could have ended horribly. Luckily he and his staff and the rest of us in the store was not harmed by this individual. Attempting to apprehend someone with the presence of staff and customers without backup weapon or any apparent training is a very dangerous situation . Being in an inner-city it would be wise for Staffing management to obtain training in dealing with that type of conflict. I'm thankful that I in the rest of the staff and customers were safe. I applaud the the manager for his bravery but putting your hand into a blazing fire it's not always a smart thing you can get burnt God bless you and I hope you stay safe

This store never finishes with stocking so inventory that is still in the boxes takes up the aisles. Always multiple employees but always only 1 register open so the line builds up. I try to avoid this store because it’s never in and out quickly.

Lots of stuff scattered about. Looks like the store could use a really good cleaning and the aisles were so cluttered with inventory that it made it dangerous for my handicapped father to move around. Won't be back to this location. Prices and amount of items stocked decent though.

Not much of anything. Not because of covid19 just a big store with a bunch of nothing as always. Do not get a cart to get more than a few things. It's hard to navigate. So cluttered I almost knocked down an entire oreo stand just by looking at it. Enter at your own risk. Stay safe.

This place is ATROCIOUS......nothing but bombs hang around the store...I went in for one quick item and got my phone stolen, along with military id,and credit cards....POLICE PRECINCT IS 2 MINUTES AWAY.......I HAD TO STOP THE POLICE AN HOUR LATER ACROSS THE STREET GETTING FOOD, CAUSE NO ONE EVER RESPONDED TO MY 911 CALL

The two stars is for the nice workers that I come across when I go to family dollar. Otherwise. they are a lot more expensive than they used to be, just go to Dollar Tree or something. The place is so cluttered it is a hazard to adults and children. I only go if i forgot something somewhere else on my way home. #cleanitup #needsomeelbowroom
