This store closes and open when they please. I travel outside of the community to do my shopping. I really wish the stores in our community were better.

Sometimes the store is clean and stocked but a lot of times its not. Cant say it’s disorganized though. The problem is that they don't operate during regular scheduled hours. They open and close when they want to which is a big inconvenience if you are walking in the rain. Many times i have come and they weren’t open during open hours.

I went in and attempted to purchase some drinks , Pepsi products. The sign , clearly said 3 for 13. There was only one register opened. The ghetto cashier rang them up and stated they were 2 for 10. The young supposed to be manager came to finally open the other register. She then began to say , this is why her line is long and I told her that it was rude. She then began to say insulting things. I have never seen no store unorganized and lack of management and employee behavior. Just because you work on Bankhead and short staffed does not mean to act like it. Find you a job your happy with. Unprofessionalism at its worst. They need to shut this store down, rather then have trashy ghetto Employees that simply are miserable w themselves.

This is my local Family Dollar I said that to say that I frequent this Family Dollar at least three times a week or more and on several occasions I witness the management belittling the employee if I’m not mistaken, it’s a lady name Carla or something like that! It’s disappointing to come in there as a paying customer to cash out at the register to hear the manager speak to me a customer about how sorry an employee is, it’s just very unprofessional! And not to mention very disappointing! Especially living in a society where employees are hard to come. it wouldn’t be in your best interest to publicly reprimand employees and humiliate them in front of everyone.

Poorly stocked, say that refrigerator is broken so they don’t have to stock it. I don’t believe them. Fridge has not been stock for over a month and it happens often throughout the year. Store closes hours early often. It actually opens and closes when they feel like it. The merchandise is always low or out. This is not only the worse Family Dollar but the worst place of business ever. No seriously. I’m thinking the owners don’t know or don’t care to lose money. I’m going to take pics next time.

New Management is only as good as they strive to be. I recently visited the store at 2:05 pm to find the lights on but the store closed. A man whom previously identified himself as manager stated through the doors that the store was closed due to no staff and he could not open the registers. Poor service if you ask me. As a store in a predominantly black neighborhood this is very sad.

Family Dollar is like a vacation to me I'm able to find anything I want. They have great prices a good variety and the service is so good. The ladies at the family Dollar on Donald Lee Howell are like family to me they make a very nice team I go there just about every day.

This store is a disaster. It is dirty. There's always open food everywhere. It's obvious that facing products is not a priority here. Employees talk on phone while ringing customers.. And curse while talking on the phone. The ad deals are never correct... The manager is lazy... It always looks like truck day...I know it's located in a tough area but yall have to do better..

I've had a blue tooth that doesn't work for over a year with the receipt but, they haven't been able to replace it. I was advised after I tried to return the product a day later that they don't do refunds on electronics. I was also advised that the cashier should've told me this before I made the purchase. I showed them the cashier that hadn't advised me of this policy and, their excuse then was that he was new, in training but, didn't know the policy at the time of my purchase. That's no way to treat any customer AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!! Can someone advise me on this situation,PLEASE???

They say the store hours are 7am to 10pm that's a lie they open and close when they want to the manager stole my food I paid for because she didn't bag it she put it behind the counter so I paid for something I didn't get the manager doesn't manager the store well at all

Unfortunately this is the worst experiences I've had inside a Family Dollar my tire 29 years. I was the only white customer in the store at the time I am speaking about, which shouldn't have mattered whatsoever except for the fact that the security guard shows to single me out 4 being white and apparently a thief as well. Apparently someone who looked similar to me had shoplifted some merchandise previous to my coming and shopping. The security guard walked up to me in a very aggressive Manner and proceeded to question me as if I had already stolen. He made a big scene in front of the whole store and I decided to just put my stuff that I already picked up back and leave the store immediately. At this point the security guard followed me to the door and again calling me names. It was absolutely the most ridiculous situation I had ever found myself in well simply getting a couple things at the store.

I've been a patron of this location for the last 4 years and the recent management change has made the store so much better. Shelves are actually stocked and employees are very nice.

The worst experience every time I go to this location. It never fails there is always a line and only one cashier the manager has no regard for time management and no care at all for the location that he manages. Just because the location is in the hood doesn't mean that the patrons and customers should be treated less than overall horrible horrible location!

The manager always has an attitude in the morning. Slow checking out. The store always looks dirty and cluttered. The staff is usually on their phones at the register. I no longer go to this location. Too many bad experiences.

Can never open on time, it’s 8:30 am and they still haven’t opened! The link says they are open but I guess management doesn’t care about that but I’m sure they fix their time to say they were open.

Store is never stocked! Any time I go on there the shelves are never stocked with what you need. There was a robbery last week at this store as well. The staff are pretty nice

Like it ok & shop here a lot,they have a new staff & employees forget to give u all your things so watch out,but went in today to get what they didn't give me the day before, while waiting, within 10 minutes of each other,one man ran out with a gigantic bag of things,they ran at him & he got a way,then another one came in stole what ever quickly he ran,they ran at him,he got away,just lot of Ppl coming in to steal and look like older middle age men
