My rating is based on the retail experience. I’ve been here a couple times for toys and treats. They have a good variety, a lot in comparison to independent retailers. They have a whole aisle/section just for chews which is always well stocked. Plus they have one of the better selections for enrichment products like snuffles and puzzle feeders. Overall a lot of great options when it comes to pet products.Also, their dog bath area is great. It takes a minute to figure out the temperature but after that it’s easy . They’ve got all the supplies you need - aprons, shampoo and conditioner, gloves, towels, and a dryer. Oh and the tubs are sectioned off so when we went we could close the door and let the pup get acclimated without fear of him running off.

Should you drive past a dozen+ other pet care places to come here? Yes, absolutely!!!Previously living just a 5 min drive from Doguroo, we now commute 20 minutes (sometimes 40, thanks ATL traffic) just because they're that awesome. The staff are the differentiator between good when it comes to dog care. Which is why we pass at least a dozen others as continued patrons of Doguroo. While the staff has been through many iterations as 5+ year customers here, what ever they're doing to stay staffed up they're doing it right. The staff quickly learns who you are (usually by associating with your dogs names lol), they learn about your dogs and are very attentive. Sharing the behaviors worth a "good boy" and those that can be something to work on with your doggo. They're not the cheapest in town but our experience is that they're worth every penny for great care for your pooches. I applaud the staff highly, they groomers and the bathers because they are truly wonderful. Their retail prices are really only a small markup making it worth the convenience of getting what you need in a one stop shop. As I'm pretty sure our Schnauzer is smarter and more emotional than I am so she would tell us, I know they enjoy spending time there because they're ALWAYS happy when we pick them up. They don’t deserve any stars. I usually don’t leave reviews, but these guys really ticked me off. ***Summary: just don’t do it. Find another place.***1) When I picked my dog up he literally had urine and feces on him. He had it on his leg and tail, butt, and feet. I should not have to bathe my dog after picking him up from the groomer.2) They overbooked the groomer. I dropped my dog off at 10 am and did not receive a text to pick him up until 6 pm. It should only take 3-4 hrs…they kept him for 8 hrs.3) When I arrived to pick my dog up there was only one girl at the counter and it was obvious that she needed help. Not because of the way she was working, she did well, but she was doing a 2 person job.4) The manager took my dog from the groomer to prioritize another dog over him because that dog had anxiety. My dog also has a lot of anxiety and it was his first time there. The way it was handled was very poorly. She did not listen to me when I tried telling her that he was a very nervous little guy. She just proceeded to quickly walk my dog to the back. He was so scared and confused.5) The store smells like pee. It’s disgusting. I’ve been to other pet stores and groomers and they do not smell as bad as this place does. Oh and watch where you step, because there’s poop in the parking lot and on the steps to the entrance. It gives the sensation that this place is very unsanitary.6) Actually, I know it’s unsanitary, because my dog pooped right in front of the front desk. I picked it up but couldn’t get it all up. I told 2 people at least and no one said or did anything! I was trying to be responsible about it but I didn’t see anything to clean it up with. They were very busy because they seem under staffed and I was ignored.The entire experience from start to finish was very distasteful.

I have been taking my 12yr old Yorkie to Doguroo for over 3yrs! His groomer Becky is the absolute best and sweetest person ever, she is amazing with Max. The services and amenities they offer are incredible and I love the dog hotel. This place is a one stop shop when it comes to your fur babies. I would recommend Doguroo any day of the week!! Book the appointment, thank me later!!

Doguroo is great for dog daycare, grooming etc. I take my dog to daycare 3-4 times per month and he always has a great time. The staff is friendly and helpful.I take him there for grooming as well and Q always does a great job with my pup. Muggsy loves Doguroo and so do I 👍🏼

After having a bad experience with another border I was reluctant and more cautious about the next place I dropped my pup off. A con to some but actually a pro for me is that Doguroo is currently all indoor facility. With multiple play yards for different size dogs there is a smaller area for the dogs to be in meaning it is easier to supervise behaviors and less chances for injuries.Immediately upon entry you’re greeted by a friendly, patient, and supportive staff. They listen to request relaying information to other trainers and can answer questions about bath services. I’ve left my pup here 30+ days over the past year with no incidents except a minor case of kennel cough, which I reported immediately and hopefully it helped the staff slow the spread.Most importantly my dog loves it here and as soon as I pull in the parking lot he’s ready to run to their front door… I think he likes the staff more than me sometimes lol. Anyway I love Doguroo and even though I’ve moved out the city I still don’t mind driving in to drop him off!

Started taking my pup Rudy there a couple months ago and he loves it. I also love it because it puts me at piece of mind to have him in such a fun safe place with people who love him and care for him. Plus all their added amenities of self wash stations, groomers on site, a store and vet next store makes it that much better.In addition, we started working with their trainer, Jamie, to address some behavioral issues Rudy was having and the skills she has taught us have been super affective in making Rudy the best pup he can be! She is super nice and knowledgeable and will help you get the results for your pup!Added is a photo of Rudy, because who does love a dog photo.

I took my dog in for grooming, specifically for ear cleaning and nail trim. They forgot to clean his ears completely, which really needed it. And didn't clip the dew claws, so now I have to take him in again. When you're paying for extras and leave a decent tip, it would be great to get the service requested. I tried to give feedback on the web portal - broken. Photo is not a before shot, it's after the "ear cleaning". Just lost a long time customer.

Terrible communicators without any clear policy regarding boarding and daycare. Would not recommend bringing your dog here if you value your time.---I have been bringing my dog to them for boarding for ~2 years. Recently I attempted to reserve a stay online for the 6th - 11th of December.Despite by dog being boarded there 4 times in the past the booking was canceled without explanation. They made no attempt to reach out so I called them to find out what the issue was.Eventually I was able to get on the phone with someone. They explained that since the dog hadn't been at the facility in 11 months they would need to "have her in daycare one day to see how she does" before they could schedule the boarding.This was strange because we have never taken the dog to daycare there outside of her first trial day and her boarding stays have been separated by as much as 7 months before (12/2021 - 07/2022). When asked what the policy is there regarding how long is too long, I was told "ummm I'm not sure its just been too long" and "we're under new management".Still I decide its just one daycare day and I book it for the following day. I bring my dog in, watch her on the cameras a bit at home and everything is looking great.When I go to pick her up I ask the tech how she did? Tech responds the dog did great, etc and is in the process of telling me, as I am paying, to go ahead and reschedule the boarding online. At this point she is interrupted by another woman who says I'm sorry but we're not going to be able to board her until we are able to have her for "a couple days" in daycare.Now I've been clearly told on the phone that we just needed to do a single daycare day. I had specifically double checked when speaking on the phone. I had called after I made the booking and attempted to verify and when no one answered the phone I left a message to call me back and verify.This same woman I'm talking to had checked me in, seen me that morning, clearly recognized me without needing me or my dogs name. Spoke to me about how "she hasn't been there in a while and would need to ease her in".Now suddenly the expectations are changing again without any real explanation. I briefly asked her to please tell me specifically how many days of daycare the dog would need to do before she could be boarded and left.All of this could have been made clear in a one paragraph explanation in the booking cancellation regarding what their policies are assuming they actually have any in the first place.

This is my go to grooming for our German Shepherd. They are reasonably priced, easy to work with, do an incredible job, but most of all they are great with our pup, no matter how crazy she is. Grateful for Doguroo!

Love this place! They always take such good care of our pups when we go out of town. It’s nice knowing they’re all good and we don’t have to worry. Plus they come home all clean after getting a bath!

I was given an appt for my dogs' grooming at 9 on Sat 12/2. I asked the young lady giving me the appt what was the earliest i coukd bring them in because i also have a 9am appt. She said 'you can bring them in as early as 6am.I arrived here about 8:10, doors are locked. I was standing outside of my car near entrance when one of the employees pulled up. I said GM, she responded and walked in. I went to get my dogs out of the car and tried to go in; doors locked. I stood there for about 10 mins when another employee walked out of the building. She said they aren't open until 9. Just exasperated at this point. Being given wrong information and 1st employee not even bothering to inquire or address a client standing outside of entrance. Ugh!

I’ve been taking my dog here for 2 years for daycare and grooming. Yesterday I was told my dog bit the groomer. When I arrived to pick up my dog, they tried to give me the wrong dog twice. Turns out they groomed the wrong dog and my dog was stuck in a cage for 5 hours and did not get bathed or groomed.My friend also had an incident where her dog died the day the day after being under Doguroo’s supervision for daycare.They recently turned off their live stream cameras so you can not watch your dogs during the day which I find odd.I do not recommend bringing your dog here for boarding, daycare, or grooming.

We have gone to Doguroo for several years. My dogs love going for daycare and boarding. The staff is amazing. They take excellent care of all the dogs.I also like to check on them sometimes and the dog cams are great.I would recommend them 100%.

I use to bring my puppies to Doguroo for boarding and grooming but moved out of town for several years. I moved back to Atlanta and wanted to take my dogs in for grooming. Since it’s been so long I was going to have to talk to someone about an appointment. I have left at least 5 messages over the past week with ZERO response. I will take my business elsewhere.

You know that video of the golden who refuses to leave a store? That's exactly what my golden does when we try to leave after a day at Doguroo. After 5+ years of daycare here I can say without a doubt I trust every person with my life... he just happens to be a dog. From morning laughs as I drop off to in depth product conversations before pick up, all the employees are so helpful and I appreciate them so much. If you have a question, just ask. If you are thinking about a trial day, do it. You and your dog won't regret it.

I used the self service dog wash. They had everything I needed in order to bathe and dry my dog...even an apron for me. I've been having problems with my back, so using the raised tub made a big difference. They have a nice selection of treats and dog accessories. I will be back in a couple of weeks.

Our puppy loves going to Doguroo. The staff is friendly and he comes home VERY tired. We started going to Doguroo to get our puppy better socialized and the staff suggested that we work with their new trainer, Jamie Garrison. Jamie has been fantastic. She's given us a good strategy on how to get our dog calmer and better socialized with other dogs. We've done a couple trainings and have already seen changes with his behavior. I highly suggest working with her!

Colleen and the staff here were fantastic. Called back in multiple times to check on my pup and they were able to give her treats when requested. Dog-Cams were great to see your dog playing and being attended too.They are only open until 6:30 PM now-a-days but stayed later to make sure I was able to pick up my pup. Outstanding Customer Service!Great staff the entire process. You guys are great!

We take our Sheepadoodle here for grooming (full, mini and the occasional bath). The staff is always kind and excited to see her. When we pull into the parking lot she's excited to be there which is always a great sign. Becky, the stylist who does her grooming is the absolute best. She always asks exactly what we want to do - texts us updates and makes sure Mabel enjoys her time there. She has a relatively picky coat and Becky always knocks it out of the park and she comes home smelling wonderful. If you're thinking about a new groomer I can't recommend Becky and Doguroo more.

I have had a great experience not only day boarding my puppy at Doguroo, but also working with their trainer Jamie Garrison. My puppy is learning not only how to interact with all different types of dogs, but people as well. After just one off leash training session, I was able to implement some home changes that have been a huge success. I particularly like that Jamie sends a review of each session with explicit instructions and research behind certain behaviors. Thank you for Doguroo for helping with my puppy, Ray, and connecting me with Jamie! He comes home happy and tired after a day at Doguroo!
