RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! This was my first time bringing my Pomsky, Kaiya to Dog Days and it will be my last. My specific instructions were a shorter trim. But what I got back was a BUZZ CUTTED, SHAVED HUSKY! This is GROSS NEGLIGENCE as any experienced groomer knows that you never shave a double coated dog especially a Husky. No apology, no call back from the apparent store manager "Quincy". This staff is UNDERQUALIFIED. I'm reporting this to the BBB. UNFORGIVABLE. My baby's beauty was ruined by their incompetence. The last photo shows what she looked like before.

I recently moved from LA to Atlanta and found Dog Days website! I thought this would be a great place for grooming and possibly day care. I booked grooming on their app to be told on the day of that the groomer is not in on the weekends. They rescheduled me for a different day and I dropped my pup off. The front desk attendant was not very welcoming and warming. Even my pup was reluctant to go with her which is very unlike him. I got a call an hour later to say the groomer has changed his schedule last minute and cannot groom my pup today. I was instructed to pick him up and when I arrived there was no attempt to reschedule or explain what was going on. Oh and my pup had pee all over his paws. Will not go back here!

Front staff is always welcoming and nice, but its a constant struggle with the groomers, it doesn’t matter who is it, my appointments have been cancelled and pushed back every time because of the groomers. Last appointment was the worst of them all, they were running late and told me to wait until they were done, then just rushed and shaved my shih tzu even though thats not what i asked for, my dog was shaking and scared i could tell he was not treated nicely. The grooming was done with no care whatsoever. Not coming back to this place.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. My dogs were so content and tired when they got home.

My dog was unfortunately attacked by another dog while at boarding and I had to take him to the ER once I picked him up. They called me and said another dog was seen following my dog around all morning and when they went to grab the other dog to pull him out of group play he pinned my dog by the neck. They also said the dog that attacked mine was a hunting dog and they rarely let hunting dogs in that area. He had to get several stitches and had a high fever from infection. My vet and I have both tried to contact them several times since the incident just to get more details on what happened and to make sure the other dog would no longer be put in group settings but no response from Dog Days. We’ve had to get several follow ups with vet specialists because now he is having vision issues and they believe it’s from the attack. I hate leaving a bad review because prior to this we enjoyed going there but at this point not sure what else to do and want to make sure this doesn’t happen to someone else.

Rhea groomed our dog, Frankie, for the first time and did such a great job. Frankie will always hate going to the groomer, but she seemed to hate this experience significantly less than any other grooming salon we’ve been to.

We love Dog Days Buckhead! Each person I talk to sounds like they care about my fur babies as much as I do! 😍 my dogs always leave tuckered out and they always smell good when we pick them up!

I love Dog Days Buckhead. They are so good with my dog, a Coton du Tulear. Deniero is the best groomer I have ever had!

I am surprised at the good reviews for this place. Our experiences here have not been good. The staff just stare at you blankly during pick up and drop off. They couldn’t seem to be less interested in what you tell them about your dog, or what you are leaving with them for boarding. Even if that information isn’t terribly important to them, they should at least convey a sense that they are going to be attentive to your dog’s needs. Per instructions, we have always portioned our dogs meals and included treats that he usually gets at bedtime. We include a note about his bedtime treats, which we like for him to have since it’s stressful for him while we’re away. Each time we have picked him up, the treats are still in the bag. Clearly, nobody bothers to read anything. He comes back smelling awful and usually a little stressed out. Recently, we boarded our dog over part of Memorial Day weekend. We specifically called to find out their holiday hours so that we could arrange for a friend to pick him up before they closed. We were given the wrong hours over the phone, so our friend had to make two trips out. The lack of organization was the last straw. We will be staying away from this place.

Omg, I cannot express how happy I am with Dog days! This was the first time we were leaving our little pup (4mos) somewhere overnight and of course we’re nervous. We actually dropped him off at another daycare and we were called back in one hour saying he was terrified and wouldn’t last the day. We picked him up and called around and found Dog Days! They were sooo gentle with him. Let him accumulate to his surrounding on his own terms and we were able to watch the process through a webcam( he was given 4 hour assessment before bringing him back the next day for overnight boarding) By the time we picked him up two nights later, he had made friends and loved the staff! They really took the time to read his energy and adjust where needed. They wrote daily notes and text us constantly throughout his stay. They were EXCELLENT. And he even got a little photo shoot lol I don’t think we will be taking out baby anywhere else but Dog Days.

I moved to Buckhead recently and wanted to sign my Cane Corso up for doggy day camp, but this place does not allow his breed due to “insurance reasons.” It’s really disappointing because he is genuinely the most well behaved dog, who frequents Fetch Dog Park, and used to go to doggy day camp at Pet Paradise Snellville almost every week. So sad that you guys won’t even give him an opportunity to prove how much love and joy he can give your establishment.

My dog is awful about having his nails trimmed. My vet even only billed me 50% because they couldn’t get all of them. I’m not sure how much trouble my dog gives Dog Days (I’m sure it’s a lot), but they get the job done. Big thanks to them!

Would give 0 if I could- from checking my dog in for daycare to picking her up, the experience was horrible. After telling them of the issues we had through email, we never received a response back from dog days. One of the selling points of this daycare is that they have webcams to see your dog- I saw no dogs on camera for the majority of the day, and when there were dogs in the room, mine was nowhere to be seen. Extended or additional cameras would be helpful for peace of mind if you want to check on your pup throughout the day.My black lab came home smelling like urine. Staff wouldn’t answer any questions when I picked her up. We will not be bringing her back.We had planned to board our dog there from Dec 21st-Jan 3rd but cancelled to find new care.

We have been using Dog Days for around 3 months now - we've had an all around wonderful experience! Our dog absolutely loves it there. She goes 2-3 times a week and always comes home happy! The people there all are incredibly kind and clearly passionate about caring for dogs. I also love the ability to check in on the camera throughout the day. Booking is super easy as well.

Dog Days of Buckhead has been a godsend since we found our stray pup, Doug, earlier this year. When we go out of town we’ll put our two other pups up with family but Doug is a little bit much to ask someone to watch with the other two so we board him (he has a lot of energy and is a big old velcro dog). He gets time with other dogs and lots of play and someone always around to check on him. He is always so excited to be dropped off and the staff is excited to see him. We’ll continue using Dog Days for our boarding needs as long as we live in Atlanta.

I allowed them to board my dog while I went away for a birthday vacation. First of all it smells SO BAD. I guess it’s normal for a dog place but it smells horrendous. I wasn’t even to my destination when I got the call that my dog had been bitten. I left them with specific instructions stating that adult dogs do not like him, he is a puppy even though he’s big, the older dogs don’t know. He’ll play a lot with them and they will get upset please keep a close watch on him, if you can’t watch him or don’t want to then put him with the small dogs. They clearly didn’t listen to any of that. Also he has a very sensitive system so I provided everything he needs. His own water, food, and treats. When I got my dog back not only was he bitten, he also had irritated inflamed gums. Which is an indicator that he was given something that he wasn’t supposed to have. He reaked tremendously I don’t let my my dog stink and be dirty so this was terrible. I only recommend this place if you really don’t care about your dog, because they don’t.

My 10 yr old dog has significant joint pain and drastic anxiety. For a week she was there and she did not receive her arthritis medicine or her anxiety medicine. That is a huge deal…This place used to be great but the quality has drastically decreased.Additionally they charged me on the wrong credit card without asking and then the manager refused to refund or adjust the transaction so that it could instead go onto the proper credit card.

This was my first time using this facility for grooming, as I was staying at my boyfriends place nearby. My labradoodle is 4 years old, and I have always been fortunate to have very talented groomers. I can say with 100% certainty that this was the WORST grooming she’s ever received. She did have a few mats, but the groomers who are well trained always have a way of removing them without butchering the dog. This was not the case this time. Her hair was cut uneven all over and she still has mats in her ears!!! $100?! Really? This groom wasn’t worth $10. They were friendly enough, but I’m more concerned about talent and my dog receiving the grooming she deserves. I was shocked to have gotten this result in Buckhead of all places. Would not recommend at all.

They are the best Daycare in Atlanta if not the country. We went there until I moved to Sandy Springs in June of 2015. My puppy turns four months old on Monday so he will be attending his meet and greet and my 8.5 year old Dog went last week and loves it. If I commute from Sandy Spring to make sure Ringo and Dakota are guaranteed to get a good daycare and boarding location. You know they get my highest recommendation!!!!

Do not get your dog groomed here! I had the worst experience at my grooming appointment. The groomer will do a hack job of a cut if you need a specialty cut. I have a Bichon Frise puppy and I saw online pictures that appeared to be Bichons groomed at DD Buckhead. When I called to book the appointment, I asked the asst manager several times if the groomer could do a Bichon cut. The asst manager confirmed and said to follow-up with the groomer when I arrived. The day of the appointment, I had a long conversation with the asst manager and groomer, and the groomer insisted he could do the cut. He even said he would call in a couple of hours to let me know how it was going. I didn't receive a call, and I understood why when I picked my puppy up. He had an uneven, puppy cut if you could even call it that. Both ears, different lengths, all 4 legs were uneven. The cut on the top of his head tapered on one side. They also took forever to bring my puppy to the front, so when I saw him although disappointed, I paid and left because I had to get back to work. I called back to speak with the groomer. He told me that the cut was his interpretation of a Bichon cut, then later he admitted he didn't have time to do the cut by hand/scissors--as is required for Bichon cuts. He should have admitted he didn't have the skill set, because I can't believe a professional groomer would hand back a dog that was as uneven as my puppy. Management was unresponsive after the groomer promised I would be called to follow-up, and I had to call them. Not sure how the daycare is, however, I won't visit given management's lack of response to my concerns. This review comes a couple weeks after my appointment, and my dog's hair is still very uneven, yet not long enough in some places to be properly groomed yet. I was not going to write a review, but I really don't want someone to have an experience like mine. We love our dogs, and we want to be able to trust the people that agree to take on their care, including grooming. Don't trust this groomer. I wish I had read the review that warned folks about the groomer before my appointment.

I have finally found a place where I know our Dolly will be treated with loving care. The staff is very good at what they do, but more importantly to me, they really try to give your dog whatever individual attention it needs. I think that Bre is the best groomer in town, a passionate dog groomer with 10 years of experience. I recommend Dog Days without reservation.

I took my dogs in for grooming today. I had made my appointment 2 weeks in advance and I had a confirmation email from Carmen. When I got there, the lady who worked there said they did not have my dogs on the schedule, and they where fully booked. She did not even let me talk to the manager, and she did not bother to apologize. Apparently they ignore appointment times of new customers to be able to accommodate their loyal customers. This had happened to a friend of mine in another location of Dog Days. So do not trust them and do not trust their confirmation emails! They are very UNPROFESSIONAL!

Staff was really sweet. My 5 month old puppy had a blast at his meet and greet. He is currently passed out sleep from all the fun he had with the small dogs. I would definitely recommend using them for your puppy to get in the rhythm of being around other dogs. Thank you so much Malfoy will be back.

Today was the first time taking my Miniature Schnauzer to Dog Days Buckhead for grooming, and I will definitely be taking him back. I was a little worried about not being about to see a flat rate for grooming on their website, but I actually ended up spending less and received much better service than where I was taking him previously. They do have an online portal, so scheduling an appointment was easy. If you are looking for a groomer, I recommend Dog Days!

TERRIBLE. Dogs weren’t bathed and we were told a dogs EYE eye socket was popped out and they are shutting down. Dogs smell like urine, dawg don’t send your dogs here, gross and disgusting. The lady at the front desk didn’t care at all to tell us about our dogs condition, we asked if both were okay and she just stared at us. The dogs were in terrible shape when they gave them to us, this place shouldn’t be in operation at all. We’re not even sure they were even fed at this place or even checked on. This place should be shut down ASAP

They did a wonderful job on my precious dog. Out first visit and in great need of a clean up. The groomer Bree came out to consult with me first about him. I really liked that. We will go once a month from now on!!!! Also he wasn’t there ALL day like some groomers. He was a big job and ready to be picked up in 4 hours. Awesome!!!

I had to go out of town last minute and had never left my dog in a kennel before. Haley, the manager, made me feel super relaxed about my leaving my pup there. She was very attentive and made sure to let me know he would be taken care of. When I dropped him off the staff was so friendly and made me feel as though they would treat him as their own dog. When we picked him up he seemed like he didn’t want to leave! He has been pooped ever since from all the playing. I am so thankful I was able to leave him in good hands while I was away. Will definitely be using them again!!!

Can’t believe I hadn’t found this place sooner! It was so close to my apartment and extremely easy access. Both the groomer and another lady were SO nice! I felt very happy to know that my dog, bella, was in such good hands. They finished within 2 hours and gave me a call as soon as they were done. They even put a little bow on my baby which I love. She was so soft and 3 days later feels just as wonderful. Thank you dog days. I will be back!! It was a pleasant And easy experience.
