This facility continues to impress me. We moved to West End back in April and reached out to neighbors for a dog grooming recommendation and Best in Show was the popular response and now I know why. The staff is always friendly and very responsive. Our dogs always leave the groomer looking their best and wagging tails. We recently went out of town and boarded our dogs here for 10 days. The price was right, and the service exceeded expectations. We received daily report cards and photos of our dogs playing in the yard. We just knew our pups were being well taken care of when we were away, which is a refreshing feeling and allowed us to really enjoy our vacation. I definitely recommend Best in Show for your dog grooming and boarding needs. Thanks, BIS, for everything.

BIS is the best grooming experience I’ve had in over 48 years of owning miniature schnauzers. The staff at the front desk is always helpful and courteous and the grooming itself is wonderful. Everyone involved with this business is completely in tune with your dog, its welfare and its grooming. I couldn’t be happier and recommend them without reservation if you want the best experience for your dog. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

This is my first experience with Best in Show and it won’t be my last. From the reception staff to the groomers everybody met my expectations. They were helpful, accommodating, and friendly. This was the first time my 5 month old puppy was getting groomed so I was a little nervous. But Jay eased my worries and my pup came out looking handsome!

So first thing my pet looked great. He had to get shaved all the way down because of matting and i noticed none of his old man warts were shaved or nicked accidentally and the most perfect Mohawk.Now my experience prior to going was expectational, they answered all my questions about grooming a senior dog whose terrified of blowdryers I was reassured they would handle it and he would be fine. Well when I picked him up with a smile on their face- I was advised to not bring him back there and to allow a vet to groom Him . I asked why and was told in so many words catering to my dog was inconvenience to the other dogs, ie, stopping the blower sounds so my dog would stop barking, my dog howling consistently I assume stressing the other dogs. But these words were not exact by round about. I didn’t receive a report card or anything in writing telling me this or even the groomer coming out to explain it to me. This was very sad news to hear and I would expect to have someone (the groomer, manager) to pull me to the side and advise in detail why my dog can’t come back. The lady gave my paper receipt, wished me a good day and continued to the next customer. I’ve never been told that my dog can’t come back to a groomer. And this isn’t a biting incident but maybe a stressful thing, not sure just left feeling super let down and confused. I haven’t received a follow up either to check and see how’s my pet. It was just the polar opposite experience from when in originally spoke with this company. Very disappointing.

My wife and I took our dog to Best In Show Doggy Daycare, Groom & Board at 2200 Cascade Rd, Atlanta, GA 30311. We dropped her off like we usually do early in the morning (8:00 AM) for grooming. Typically, we go on Friday, but only Saturday appointments were available this time. We have a 6 lb Yorkshire Terrier, and the grooming historically takes less than two hours. On this day, hours had elapsed, so we decided to go to the business and wait in the parking lot.While there, we heard a blood-curdling scream, and surprisingly it was our dog. The time was approximately 12:35 PM. My wife ran into the business and inquired about Fiji. They told us she was ok and awaiting grooming. We took them at their word. That was a horrible mistake because about fifteen to twenty minutes later (12:55 PM), they called and said Fiji was ready, but there was an accident.They said the groomer nicked Fiji's tongue. They blamed it on our dog's age and the fact she was missing teeth. Please look at the pictures. Her tongue was almost severed off. First, they lied and covered it up when my wife ran into the business to check on Fiji when we heard the scream.They disfigured our dog and traumatized us.If this groomer was inexperienced, then where was the management oversight? Where was the standard operating procedure to immediately notify the owner and call a VET? They have no official policies in place, or they do not follow them. No disclaimer is posted about older dogs, nor have they ever talked to us about any risk. They have never asked us to sign a liability waiver. The business is irresponsible, unethical, and dangerous to pets.

My dog, BB King, and I love Best in Show! When I drop him off, I always know that he is going to be taken care of and have an amazing time. He’s almost like a celebrity when he goes. From the time Erin greets him at the door(they love each other) until the time he leaves, he’s been treated well. Long story short I had a really terrible experience with PetSmart grooming that effected my dog's health, and had to stop using their groomer. However a family friend recommended Best In Show to me for being "local" (i.e. in the neighborhood, affordable, and overall just providing good service). Since leaving PetSmart this is the only groomer my cocker spaniel, Zoey has gone to and so far we have pleased with the service.

I have been with this business for 10 years. I remember when I would communicate with the owner and I love that her business has grown but the professionalism has completed gone out of the business. I have brought 3 dogs for both boarding and grooming. I have not had any problems until this last year. The staff is completely unprofessional and unorganized.

This is an amazing grooming place for your little fur baby! They allow you to make appointments on the app and they make sure all pups have vaccines. I also love that they stand with great causes such as diversity and inclusion. Highly recommend.

My dog's long nails got called out at the dog park lol. The dog with the best nails gets groomed here, so we gave them a try.We just got a quick nail grind which was $10 (but it would have been $5 as a grooming add on). We also got a jerky treat for $0.50.The dogs playing in the back seemed so happy, that my dog was eager to join them. I think she felt tricked when she realized we just came for nails. The lady who did it handled her really well and made sure each nail was rounded.

Look no further than Best In Show for your dog grooming. Hilde and her team are superior, professional and knowledgeable. Moreover, I trust them with my dog. He comes out looking like a show dog and smells like a powder puff. I drive across town, when I could easily take my dog to a groomer down the road. I can’t say more great things about Best In Show!

I’ve been taking my dog to Best in Show for years but today is my last day. I am truly disappointed in the decline in customer service. I hope the HIRING sign posted out front works because they need help bad. My dog was boarded for 5 days and was scheduled to be groom on Day 1- I was 45 minutes late (traffic was horrible) and was charged a $35 cancellation fee-mind you a groom is only $70. Tonya the manager said they could not wave the fee even if they could groom my dog in the next 5 days. Also told me they would call if they could fit her in but it would only be a mini groom. I also asked about my boarding fee and was told it was $28/day. Well I picked up my dog today (I called yesterday and they told me they could not groom her) and she was completely shaved. I was so disturbed for the lack of professionalism and attention to detail. I arrived at 1:10pm and bc it was after 1pm I was charged $22. I was charged $35 cancellation fee even though she was groomed. I was charged $70 for groom + an additional $20 bc they shaved her. And I was charged $31 per day after I was initially told $28. Total $355. I will never go back. When it was good it was great but now it’s horrible and no longer best in show for me!

I got a dog over the weekend and was lost about how to best care for her. She was a rescue and dealing with a lot of trauma. I took her to Best in Show on Sunday. They not only did an evaluation and assessment of her, the cut her nails and set her up for daycare services. This literally saved my life. I have a very busy schedule and needed somewhere safe to bring her to help her get adjusted to a new routine. They were kind, patient and so sweet. I would highly recommend them and I got a progress report on my dog within a few hours of her checking in. This is a first in class business with a top-notch staff. Took my mini schnauzer to her first ever cut…. Really disappointing first and only experience. Wasted my time showing them a photo and the only thing that they remembered was to not cut her lashes. I’m livid. Then charged me $85 just to cut ALL of her hair off. She doesn’t even look like a schnauzer at the moment. Completely irritated.
