Had a wonderful experience this past time at the store. I went in indecisive about a couple baked goods i needed to bring to a party and you could definitely tell after i was walking around dumbfounded for a while. I ended up making eye contact with an associate in the back, Matthew, and he came right up to me asking if i needed any help. I instantly asked him so many questions about everything on the table but he answered them all with a smile. I ended up grabbing an apple pie and a few other baked items which were delicious! I also recommend the Maple donuts, they were divine. Thanks again Matthew!

Had a very out of character experience at Publix today. My boyfriend and I ordered sandwiches online and went here to pick them up. We got there a bit later than the pick time, by about 20 minutes (thank you athens traffic). We went to the pickup kiosk and his sandwich was incorrect, and both of ours were poorly packaged. The customer service people were *absolutely incredible*, I cannot stress this enough and I do not put the blame at their feet. Upon us pointing out the issues, they promptly went to remedy the problem. After about 10-15 more minutes, his sandwich was ready and we left. When we got home, our sandwiches were falling apart. The bread was so soggy and the sandwiches were not constructed well. The texture of the bread was so bad we had to stop eating.Publix is a lot better than what we experienced today - I love the deli and their subs. But I wanted to post to keep Publix accountable. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

Twice this month after ordering subs online when I got to the store they had no bread. The first time the staff was nice and compensated me for having to make it a wrap but today the staff was rude, messed up the order, and didn't change the price which means I overpaid for something we already did not want in the first place. It seems like the difference this time was there were too many online orders that needed to be fixed for Publix to treat its customers fairly. The first time they were 20 minutes behind on my order and today 30. Being out of bread at 6 is a pathetic show of management and I will not be back until I am given my money back and there is a change in management.

My wife was treated extremely rudely by a pharmacist today while she had a 5 yr old and 3 yrd old with her. He wouldn't stop asking her to move. Which she complied with. But when she went back to get the prescription he was about to tell her to go away again and she had to say my prescription is ready. Originally she was waiting behind the blood pressure kiosk which is plenty far away from the counter. Why are the pharmacist acting like such Jerks to my wife? Lettuce is $7 the least you could do is treat my family with some respect! I expect an apology from the pharmacy to my wife.EditSo it turns out this pharmacy didn't EVEN MIX MY 3 YEAR OLDS MEDICINE WITH ANYTHING AND WE WERE TRYING TO GIVE HIM STRAIGHT AMOXYCILLIAN. So our pediatrician had to send a new script and we had to tell them to mix it. The whole time they were rude and at this point we have decided to not ever use this pharmacy again.

Great store and friendly helpful staff, only issue is that it has one of the most pitiful pharmacy areas I think I’ve ever seen, they don’t even carry allergy medication. There’s a Walgreens in the same plaza so it’s not too inconvenient.

Nice grocery store!! Only my second time in there. Once for a good friend that had surgery so I did her shopping..then today to pick up a prescription for another gf of mine. GIRLFRIEND=really good friend nothing more!!👍🏽..anywho each time I went in the staff were super duper friendly! Like today the older lady in the pharmacy went out of her way to be nice and knowledgeable about my friends prescription. Based on my experience I'd definitely recommend this store for shopping...sorry I do have to include this and forgive me ladies but I was blessed with eyes to see...so men if your with your lady please wear your sunglasses because you'll feel as if your at a tennis match. 😳🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂 lots of eye candy..

The worst Publix I’ve ever been to. Other Publix stores are amazing and the employees are wonderful but not here. First, the fruits and vegetables are almost always going bad. Second, the entire deli department. I ordered wings (waited 50 minutes for them) and they give it to someone else. I’ve also been hung up on twice trying to place orders at the deli and when they answer they aren’t the nicest to talk to. Highly recommend going to a different Publix if it’s close enough to you.

I had a large amount of groceries today and made sure my bags were equally loaded. The young bagger, Ash, volunteered to help me out to my car and was very kind. I offered a tip but he refused and that it was his pleasure to help me.

I would love to shop here but it's way too bright. Squinting my eyes doesn't work so if I forget my sunglasses I literally have to go home. Even so, I can only do about 10 minutes before getting a severe headache.

I always enjoy my visits here! Very clean, organized and maintained. The people are always so kind and helpful. They have a very nice selection of products. I definitely get in trouble when I go without a list because there always seem to be such good deals on so many items.

Typical Publix as far as prices, cleanliness, and awesome deli. Parking is kind of a pain. Usually have to wait for someone to be leaving to park anywhere near the store.

Very consistent with good customer service. The lack of 5 stars comes from the deli not adhering to the high standard set by the other departments in the store. They're not bad just not great. Overall the best grocery store on the Eastside of Athens

Love their customer service never had an issue with an employee! However; pickup section for pickup orders. 70% of the time is unavailable. Either implement more pickup parking or enforce the pickup parking area.

I find this to be one of the best shopping experiences near my apartment. While there might be occasional supply chain issues, they are generally pretty good about keeping items in stock.

This Publix is awesome. The staff is great and the store always is neat, clean and organized. We especially like the seafood and meat department. The remodel has helped the deli/hot bar a lot as to being able to get people through faster. Highly recommend.
