Moved to Athens last year and started getting our dog food here. Have shopped in-store as well as curb-side pick up and the staff are great! Extremely friendly, helpful and professional.I honestly don’t know how their prices stack against competitors (Chewy doesn’t have what we currently feed, but they seem competitive). I love that they have a rewards program and I get coupons in the mail.Definitely recommend this store for their variety, customer service and convenience.Thank you!!

I think the people here are much friendlier than some other local pet shops, so love that! I'd personally like to see the reptiles here have better and more proper lighting, UVB deficiency is a huge issue amongst reptiles! Otherwise, love Pet Supplies Plus!

Staff are wonderful here. It’s disappointing to me that I’ll no longer be using them. I have used their self service pet wash for many months. After purchasing my third wash card on the 8th of January I used one wash credit. Unfortunately, I misplaced the card. What is the proposed resolution? Too bad so sad. Staff said they do not keep up with your wash credits… Despite requiring you to check in and provide your information every time you use the service. Despite being able to show proof of purchase/transaction records, they declined to provide any reasonable compromise or resolution. I’m sure there are some terms and conditions printed on the card that make what they are doing legal… But it’s extremely bad business practice. I won’t return for goods or services.

I love this place. They always have my dog food in stock unlike earthwise pet supplie in Hamilton mill. This is my only go to store and they have a lot of locations. I have been to cherry Hill NJ, woodlyn pa, athens ga,and media pa. Thank you

If you need any assistance in this store ask for KAT. She was amazing and helped me so much with my “cat”. How ironic. She knows her stuff. Go ask for her! Great customer service as well.

Bella is an amazing groomer! She takes exceptionally good care of my deaf dog. I appreciate how friendly, engaging and professional she is. My dog dislikes being goomed BUT loves Bella. Ava was so sweet and gave diesel some treats for his first time visiting! Diesel had a bad past with men and a male associate was so kind to ask before petting him and was still patient and understood that he was too scared this visit. My new go to for all of my pet supplies! I have an exotic pet and always ordered all of my supplies from Amazon. Amazon has gotten too pricey, and I prefer to shop local and support small business. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I won’t be shopping anywhere else!

My daughter’s dog stopped eating his food and went in to simply find something he would like. The cashier gave me a 25 minutes class on what to feed him. She broke down what was in the food, the best brands, and then gave me some recipes to prepare his meals myself. I got home and gave him her recommended food, sure that he wouldn't eat it and Bam!!!!! He's back at it again. Loved his treat and emptied his bowl.Awesome service, caring employees and full of knowledge for our fur babies.

This is only a rating for the employess working the fish department. The tanks are kept nice and clean. No problem there. But when a store sells bettas I expect them to know important information about them. This does not seem to be the case at this store. Firstly, and just being a little picky, is the pronunciation. It's pronounced betta. Like making a bet in poker. Not bayta like in the greek alphabet. Plus, to not know that bettas (females) can be kept with other community fish is important. There is a lot of important information they should be able to give custoners interested in keeping these fish in particular and other fish in general. I am not a fish expert but I would like salespeople to know at least a little more than me. If nothing else just stop calling bettas baytas. It tells people you don't know what your talking about.

I love this location! The staff are exceptionally helpful and eager to interact with me and my dog. The store is VERY clean, stocked and well organized, with staff readily available to help. Hannah was specifically helpful this afternoon, as well as the other cashier, who asked first and then offered my dog a treat! They both engaged me in conversation regarding my dog. Will continue to use this store for my pet supplies.

My wife and I came in to give our Great Pyrenees a bath in the self-wash station. On the way in, we were stopped by the manager of the grooming department. I believe she was leaving for the day, or going on break. As we got to talking, she gave us great advice on how to properly groom my dog. I also happened to mention that he has an issue with yeast build up on his paws, to which she advised me on the kind of food to feed him and what ingredients to avoid.We had a super great experience and will be shopping here for our animal needs. Also, if you’re in the need for a cat tree, shop here before purchasing on Amazon. Pet Supplies “Plus” has much better prices.

I took my girlfriends dog in for grooming earlier this week and was very impressed by the groomers there. Andy was very kind and knowledgeable. She explained the grooming process and helped me pick out what extra things we might need. I'm new to grooming and had no idea what to expect. That's when andy asked me to call my girlfriend so she could talk to her make sure it would be right. Very caring people that are willing to spend extra time to make sure I didn't end up in the dog house. Highly recommend and will be back.

This was my first visit. Normally I shop at PetSmart but they have gotten to where their selection of aquatic products are getting smaller and smaller. They never have anything I need and the prices are so high. I was so amazed at the huge selection of fish tank products filters foods and everything in between. They have two isles that run the length of the entire store dedicated to aquatics and they stock every kind of filter and food you could ever need. The prices are way lower than PetSmart and amazon! And they always have products on sale! I will never visit PetSmart again! Pet Supplies Plus has a customer for life! P.S. the staff are all friendly and they are not walking around looking like they hate their life or job. I was greeted every time I passed an employee as I shopped. They asked how I was doing and if I was finding everything ok.
