Pawtropolis on Olympic Dr is fantastic! I am picky when it comes to my dog’s care. The staff is so loving and genuinely caring, and she loves each one who works there. Boarding and Day Care are excellent . The staff is observant and writes detailed and kind notes about her stay. On one occasion, I was alerted to an issue on her skin, and i appreciated that. I am so thankful to everyone there.

We've been taking our dog here for 6 years and love it so much. It's a bit pricey but very worth it for the quality of care.They offer doggy day care (which is great for socializing puppies) and boarding, and separate the dogs by size and energy level, to protect the tiny or elder pups. There are lots of activities for them, and you can tune in to check on them while you're gone via their cameras.The staff are awesome. We were in Atlanta last weekend and they noticed that it was our dog's birthday, so they gave her a doggy ice cream and this pink elephant toy, which she is crazy about. I know we've been going there for a long time, but I was still super impressed by their generosity! Our dog loves them.

I wouldn't trust my pups with anyone else. All 3 of my Rowdy Rovers love this place and have so many friends already! The whole staff loves on them like their own and I couldn't ask for anything more!

A wonderfully run doggy daycare and boarding facility! They work hard to ensure that every pup (or cat!) is given the best stay possible. I bring my nervous girl here and with every stay she's improved at least a little bit! The attention to detail is phenomenal and genuine care for the animals is lovely. Just took my puppy Cannon for open swim and he (and I!) loved it! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they all truly love dogs and will treat your pup like their own. The facility is top-notch and spotless! When I drop Cannon off for his first day of daycare, I know he will be safe and in good hands!

We have a German Shepherd who is not the most trusting of others. He stays at Pawtroplis about twice a year. He starts getting excited as we turn on Olympic Dr. It makes it easy to leave him for his stay knowing he is happy to visit. Wonderful caring place for dogs to hang out.

Love taking my dog here! She gets to play with other pups and play in the pool in the summer! I can sign her up for daycare through the online portal and add other services too like a frozen treat and a bath before I pick her up. Dogs shouldn’t be left at home all day, even bringing them to daycare once a week helps so much.

Pawtropolis has always been incredible with my dog Toby (both the Eastside and Westside locations). The staff are absolutely amazing, and take such great care of Toby and the other pets. I definitely trust Pawtropolis when leaving my dog in their care, whether it’s for daycare or overnight boarding. I highly recommend Pawtropolis, and love that my dog Toby had such a great place to spend some time each week!

Dog Paradise!! I know my dog is in the best hands when I take him to Pawtropolis for Daycare. I can see how much he learns from the staff as well as interacting with the other dogs. I love peeking in on his visits via the webcams while I'm working, he always looks like the happiest dog in the world!

I am very picky about where I am willing to leave my dogs for boarding/daycare. Being a vet tech I have seen and heard all of the horror stories about many facilities but can say that Pawtropolis has been amazing. My two mini dachshunds, Remi and Rambo, have been boarding and attending daycare there for about a year and have had a great experience every time. As soon as we hit the parking lot they are pulling to go inside and don’t even look back when they go back with a staff member, which is amazing because those two are truly attached to my hip. I appreciate that they keep the play groups at a reasonable headcount, even if that means they are booked for a day I want the boys to go, because I know that means when my guys are there they are a part of a safe and manageable group of tiny tots! Thank y’all for all your great care, the boys will be in to see you again soon!

Very unpleased with my dog’s experience.Made a reservation for a 3 night stay, at time of drop off gave detailed instructions to staff; that included new toys and bones for the luxury suite.Over stay only one report card was received, which included two photos that did not show injury. Upon pick up was horrified to find hisnose was burned/scratched/rubbed badly. Was told at first it was from his food bowl, story later changed to it was from the mat inside the luxury suite. Never informed of mishap until pick up.Upon pickup received 3 play time reports, one being very detailed/long and 2 being one sentence and illegible.Spoke to management, they informed me the mats in luxury suites are often cause of this type of injury. However, nothing has been done to prevent future occurrences.Very upset and will not refer or recommend to anyone else.

Meet Hula, one of the newest members of the eastside Pawtropolis Tiny Tot Pack (for now....she will soon advance to other groups as she grows). Hula became my new girl for my birthday this past January after I lost Tiki (see westside reviews) this past July. When I got Hula I could hardly wait for her to be old enough to start doggie daycare for many reasons. The main reason being the discipline that the Pawtropolis Gang instills in the animals that come to them....I could not think of anything more perfect for a brand new pup in her most important stage of learning.Hula LOVED Pawtropolis from the very first day. She is now in her 3rd week of attending what she and I now label as "school" and I can tell SUCH a difference in her behavior (in a good way). When I pick her up in the afternoon after a day of playing her little heart out, she is happy, content, hungry and tired....all great things.With Hula I have been taking advantage of the web cams. Something that I did not do with Tiki (not sure why). Being able to actually see her so happy and playing with friends when I am at work, makes my day and my co-workers love catching a peek at all the pups too!I highly recommend Pawtropolis for your dog(s), it will be one of the greatest things you ever did for them!

My golden retriever puppy Kevin loves coming here! I started him here when he was 10 weeks old and he has gone every week up until 7 months old ( he’s currently not neutered, but will be in a few months, so he will be returning after). The staff is super duper kind! Personally, I have worked at a local animal hospital for several years, and see far less (if any, i may include) accidents/ cases from this facility. Kennel cough can happen anywhere with a large population of dogs - bordetella vaccine can only protect your pet so much, but again Pawtroplis does an amazing job with helping to prevent this. I do not think people realize that yes, it will happen occasionally, but I’ve known other doggie places to happen way more frequently than here.The staff are super sweet, caring, and really want to give your pets the #1 treatment. I truly feel safe leaving my dog here. , and I appreciate how much they acknowledge your pets behavior. I could get free boarding at my animal hospital, but I am personally willing to pay if I know that Kevin would have a better time somewhere else playing with friends.The only thing I would say is that my little treat bag/ bag for lunch is usually forgotten to be brought up at first, and i kindly have to remind the staff or that I had a hard time making reservations through the portal for Kevin once he graduated out of puppy program to rowdy rovers (playtime evaluation must be completed), but they are truly minor errors, and easily fixed! I know when I’m super busy, I can miss little details like that as well.

Today was my (almost) two year old pups daycare evaluation and she was EXTREMELY nervous. The staff went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and redirect her attention to playing with the other dogs. They even let her go for a swim! The webcams helped to ease my nerves tremendously, although they are addicting to watch. Seeing the staff be so sweet to my girl made me realize my dog will never stay anywhere else besides Pawtropolis! Highly recommend!!

I love pawtropolis east side. We use their "kitty city" for our cat, Charles, when we go out of town. He has now stayed there for 4-5 of our trips and I always have such peace of mind leaving him there. I can watch their live feed at any time, which I love. It is clean and Charles always seems so relaxed and happy, NO stress at all when I pick him up.Their hours are great for pick up and drop off and the staff is always so nice and friendly and professional. So thankful for this place.Price is also great for the service received!

The absolute best dog boarding experience ever! They were so helpful when I was coming from out of town for a few days to help me with my dog with severe separation anxiety. The suites are cute with dog doors to the outside, and I loved being able to schedule extras like cuddle and play time. They went above and beyond helping me to make sure my pup was happy and felt safe. Her coat was shiny soft and nails done before I picked her up which was a nice bonus. They helped me tremendously with my crazy schedule so that I could visit and pick/drop off my pup during the stay. My dog was excited to return which says a lot. Worth every penny! Love this place so much I might just consult with the owner and open several in other states.

UPDATE: I very much appreciate the owner's response. Pawtropolis called to check in on my dog's condition and that really goes a long way. Thank you for your explanation and for reaching out.I would love to give Pawtropolis a 5 star review but I sadly cannot. Their people are so friendly and facilities seem so nice, we even recently completed our 7 week puppy training program on the Westside location but unfortunately our dog has gotten sick not once but twice. The first time our dog went to daycare was December 14, 2020... a few days later he came down with an upper respiratory infection that required a vet visit and medication. I called to let them know about our dogs status andgave them a pass and totally understood things happen.Our dog recently stayed for daycare and now has kennel cough only a few days later. Another vet bill. Our dog is fully vaccinated, up to date on shots, and hasn’t visited any other facility or place recently other than Pawtropolis. Of course we cannot 100% say this is from Pawtropolis but the timing is way way to coincidental.

Coming from the guy who never thought he'd pay money to take his dog to daycare so to speak, I am fully converted, ha! On this recent trip, I even told the gentlemen who was visiting about potential boarding his pup (for the first time ever) for 2 weeks there that it was well worth the money. You guys seem like you genuinely care about my dog. And other folks pets as well. And while that's not everything, that IS the most important thing. I told him it feels like a bunch of animal lovers started a business. I like the facilities too. I think they are top notch. What every client (parent) is looking for in any daycare is quality care and a genuine experience for their child/pet. YOU GUYS CRUSH THAT FROM EVERYTHING WE CAN SEE. You seem to go the extra mile (write-ups and reports on concierge notes, giving us tips and feedback from your own experience as pet owners/lovers, etc etc). Our family GREATLY appreciates the customer service you give us and I've especially appreciated the friendly and professional service we've gotten numerous times from Bonnie.

Everyone at Pawtropolis is so welcoming and friendly. At a previous dog daycare/boarding place I used, staff sometimes seem like they're just "putting up with" their canine clientele, but at Pawtropolis, only great attitudes and enthusiasm when I bring in my pup. Functioning webcams are great when I need to board him for the weekend. I always feel good about entrusting my dog to their care. Highest recommendation from me! :)

I started taking my dogs to Pawtropolis 8 years ago when it was just the west side location. I now take them to this east side location. The staff in both places have always been wonderful to me and my dogs. They truly love dogs and it shows in every interaction. The facilities have always been clean and well organized. The webcams are the best thing ever - I can check on my girls from the office and see who they are playing with, and often catch them getting cuddles from the staff. Last summer, they had open swim times for the outdoor saltwater pool. Those were great for some quality time with my youngest dog in a safe environment. My youngest dog has best buddies in daycare and looks forward to seeing them every week. Pawtropolis is the only place I trust to take excellent care of my dogs, whether boarding, in daycare, or for baths and nail trims. Superb!

I had a bad experience at another boarding place but I’m glad I put my trust into this place! My Riley is very active and I was able to include playtime’s for her and I really loved getting these little report cards of each day I boarded her! 4 stars because it be amazing if they had webcams in the apartments or suites the dogs stay in! Other than that perfect I recommend to anyone !

I boarded my cat here, and they were amazing! This was the first time that I boarded my cat, so we were both a little nervous. The staff really went out of their way to make sure my cat was as comfortable as possible, and even emailed me to let me know how he was doing! I felt very confident that if there were any issues, the staff were well-equipped to solve it.Even though the vaccinations were a lot, it made me feel more comfortable, because I knew that my cat wouldn't catch anything from one of the other cats. One thing to note is that the FeLV vaccine is a two-shot series, with three weeks in-between. Luckily, I had just enough time for this (although if I hadn't, I think they would've still boarded him, he just wouldn't have been able to play with the other cats).I love the cat camera! My cat's pretty outgoing, so once he got comfortable, I got to see him a lot. It's worth it just for that, so I could look in and see that he was playing with the other cats.This was all over a holiday weekend, and (despite being understaffed and super busy) they were still super responsive to any question/concern I had. And when I picked him up, the staff let me know how he did. It just seemed like they really cared about the wellbeing of my cat!

I wouldn't recommend them if you need to make quick arrangements to board your animals due to unexpected travel. If you aren't an existing customer, they apparently can't make time or accommodations for you.Clarification: I was not told that the facility was fully book. Rather, I was told that the business was not taking on new clients. I was not even given the courtesy of checking to see if the dates that I needed to board my pup were already booked. This made it seem as though space was being reserved for those who were existing clients at the expense of new customers. My plea for the urgency of my situation was met with a recommendation for facility in Madison… which seemed a bit self-serving since, presumably, you’d rather I reach out to a place far enough away that, were I to need boarding services in the future, I would not establish any sort of repute with competitors in the area. The wager, it seems, is that I’d be willing to try my luck with Pawtropolis in the future. Regardless, I can only give an honest assessment based on the short interaction that I did have with the staff. After having gone through the full process of filling out the paperwork online, my phone conversation to schedule an appointment gave the impression that space was being prioritized for existing customers. This was most evident in the lack of any attempt to check if the dates that I needed were actually book (9-10 days, no small amount of money to be spent). In the span of a short phone call, I went from feeling really positive about this facility (based on my reading of the reviews) to realizing that this is probably not the best place for new clients anyway since it appears that priority and privileges seem to be reserved for existing clients when space is limited.
