The store is OK, some of the staff are great - but these days the way that they have made a game out of corporate shopping is ridiculous! I used the coupon for $.20 off blueberries so now I don’t get four dollars off of $20 worth of produce because I only have $18.80 worth of produce. PICKUP kinda sucks. It takes an hour to place an order and they are very slow now to bring it to the car. I am going to Trader Joe’s more often even though it’s quite a drive. No ridiculous shopping games.

Evan, who was working the cheese and jam sample stand was AMAZING. He truly made my whole experience at Kroger today. After sampling his cheese and chatting with him, we ended up buying our own cheeses, crackers, and jams!!! Evan is awesome and Kroger is lucky to have him :)

I just came and bought sushi from this store TODAY and it tastes like mold. It’s absolutely disgusting. Its was like a cleaning product and I got two different kinds aswell so it’s not a coincidence and I have bought sushi from here and multiple other krogers aswell. I’m really disappointed because I spent 30 dollars on sushi😞

Usually good prices, the Self Checkout is always crowded, and most of the time when scanning vegetables, It'll say "Please Wait for Assistance ". The store is pretty big, but the way they have it layed out, make it feel extremely crowded.

I prefer shopping at Krogers better then Rotten world Walmart or No budget Publix , (Though Publix has the best fresh fruits) I can always find what i need at Krogers..Their store brands arent over priced and taste better. They have good deals just be sure to READ!!!! The purchase labels before getting so excited about those low prices .. make sure you have a Krogers card so you can get the perks of the discounts. The Staff always looks miserable but thats their problem. i do my best to not speak to anyone anyway so its all good here :)

Took right at 20 minutes to check out. The reason: all the sale items was ringing up regular price. The sales associate was doing the best she could. But management needs make sure that everything on sale is ringing up the way it is supposed to. That would be called "Customer Service"

Very crowded. Parking is difficult. Mostly self-checkout and often times, many of those self-checkout lanes are closed leaving the lines of people to block others that are trying to shop. Excessive displays and large sale bins clutter the store and add to the chaos. Apathetic staff. Management is unsupportive and usually not present.

The parking lot sucks but that's not uncommon in Athens. They usually have what I'm looking for and the sales are alright. It's one if the more affordable grocery stores. I bring my small dog sometimes and they've never had a problem with him. He just sits in his bed in the cart and doesn't do much though. This location is usually very busy unless it's early or late.

African female staff yelled repeatedly at a customer at customer service for what? It is annoying to see this keeps happening in 2023 and in America. Sorry, we still can’t hear you clearly, but please speak louder and repeat more times for the rest of us at the store; we want to know the tea and learn from your customer service attitude.Feel bad for that kid.

The best Kroger and grocery shopping in town. Very clean and well kept. The store is run very well, everything being fresh. Parking however can become full on the weekends but then again so does any parking in beachwood/alps shopping centers.

I was having trouble using my WIC at the register and a long line was forming behind me. I told the cashier that I was getting nervous about the line and felt pressured, she told me to not look at the line and take my time. As a person with high functioning anxiety I really appreciated her patience and reassurance. Excellent customer service!!!

This store is actually better laid out compared to the one by my house. The front is more open and the customer service was to the left as you walk in making it feel more welcoming.The produce is of good quality and rarely have they been out of what I'm looking for. Honestly if it weren't so far from my house I would shop here more often.

Not bad for a Krogs but the parking sucks and it doesn't have the selection of Space Kroger in north Athens. It's all we have on the west side so deal with it.

This store is always busy yet well stocked. I was rung up by Kimberly and my groceries were bagged by Deontaye, both of whom were friendly and professional. Deontaye especially commented on my hat and was very kind and expedient. Five stars for those two!!!

There were items on the weekly deal that were sold out and similar products were placed there. Not noticing this I tried to check out and discovered my coupon wasn't working. Between Ken and Bethany they took care of everything. Ken was nice enough to go with me to confirm the problem but then helped me find an on sale substitute. Always nice to be helped by folks that like their job.

The Kroger itself is good but Jeb is one of the best workers I have ever met! His work ethic is exceptional & he is seriously the most polite person! He makes check out so quick & easy, while being very professional & kind! We choose to go to this Kroger because we know it’s going to be a great experience when Jeb is there!

On 1/23/23 (Monday) my family ordered a big fried chicken piece box and we had to wait 45 mins because they were late cooking it. Should have called us and said they would be running late instead of making someone wait for it to cook. Very unprofessional. It pretty much ruined the special accusation we were having.

This Kroger is always crowded and the shelves are always stocked low. I went in for two products and they were both it of stock, this store does have more selection than the Epps Bridge store but it's twice as busy as well

If i could give 1 star i would, the worst management and nasty attitude cashiers. I went to Kroger's and those of you who shop there know the inherent problems, not enough help, indifferent employees and high turnover. Yesterday was different, I didn't have to wait forever to checkout. Although the cashier was not even cordial, the customer service lady was really nice and so was a woman who works in curbside, Nora. She is extremely helpful and just a nice lady. I like that they have put up signs stating that masks must be worn, but,sadly, are not enforcing it. I saw a few young people( I thought that I was invincible when I was young and C-19 doesn't typically make youth sick or kill them) not wearing masks, and was standing so close to me, that the customer service woman had to ask him to step back. I don't understand, are they ignorant of the increase of numbers of C-19 in GA? That we have a serious problem with a governor who, although he and his family are safe, I'm sure, refuses to protect elderly people from those who feel that C-19 isn't really dangerous and won't wear masks? One employee was walking around with his mask on his chin and then answered the phone. Total set-up for an older employee. Everyone else,though,that I saw working, had a mask on. I also like the changes that they are making, gearing towards healthier options. So, good experience at Kroger's . I hope to have more@
