One of the managers Elissa was very nice and very helpful when I came in to grab an order that was placed online for a customer. she didn't know what she was doing but she figured it out. I think she was nice and lovely šŸ˜šŸ˜ and she had a great attitude. Thank you

I wouldnā€™t go to this Kroger if it wasnā€™t the most convenient. It smells so bad in there almost as if they donā€™t clean anything or they just keep old rotting meat. Staff here is very rude and management is non existent.

Your typical Kroger but shockingly dirty restrooms. The one by the Starbucks was discusting and the baby changer was broken. Please improve, it's hard to feel confident about purchasing food in a place where the sanitation is so bad.

Kroger had some good sales this past week.i love the baked goods. And the pharmacy prices are good. I don't like the self checkouts, but they don't seem to have as many lines with human cashiers as they used to. Kroger didn't send me any coupons this month either.dissappointing.

OLD store. Not up to current/modern Kroger standards. Pleasant workers and in a nice location. I hope they update this location in the near future.Update - change is in the air. This old shopping center has been demolished and Kroger is expanding at this site. We are told to expect a complete remodeling and the addition of a Kroger fuel station.

The produce specifically the fresh vegetables I frequently skip because of poor quality. To my surprise the produce department at Walmart has improved and is of much better quality.

This place is alright. Just an average grocery store. I shop here often. Could be better customer service however, I understand why.

This store keeps getting worse, we like a good many of the employees but the pharmacy is a complete joke, when we drop off the day before we shouldn't have to wait half an hour when we come to pick it up. Also they have gotten bad lately about being sold out of products completely, keeping a well stocked inventory is important...We like the store and really hope it gets turned around

Unfortunately, all of the good employees get stolen by Publix or leftI went to this evening to pick up some flowers for my wife, as well as some other things.when I asked for assistance from the CSM on another matter, she was extremely unhelpful. I understand that she may not like her job, however, expressing that to a customer, when being rude to them, seems hardly the way to improve morale at work for the coworkers who work underneath her and with her.

Worst day I ever had her. . I never had a situation here untill today where I needed to manually punch my card number in untill I received a new one. I was then asked if I had my physical Identification card to prove that the card in my phone match my identity... from there I was told No. Because I didn't have no card, my card service states in my policy that on my personal card app I could use it to make purchase but (Kroger) do not electricity pay but they do offer manually.... Only if you have a card to prove it can't be swiped..in which I did and still was refused service even tho my order had been bagged up and ready to go home with me, when Kroger manager told me to leave and go to another store that will do manually... I have never been disrespected by a manager Ever!!! When I'm the customer... yes they do have the option to let you type manually but I was refused service. Krogers has the best prices for me and my kids to where I couldn't get all the things I needed do to other stores being way more in prices/not alot of deals like kroger... I Pray for that Manger, you did not achieve this potion today instead you treated a well maintained shopper at Kroger with disrespect and no dignity. Yes I did go else where but again I wasn't able to get it all .... Like all I Had in my buggy at Kroger lol. šŸ‘

I had an issue with Instacart there today. It didn't get resolved. It had nothing to do with Kroger. Veronica at customer service is a gem. She was patient with us as we dealt with Instacart care for about an hour. She was short staffed at the front end and made it all work. She deserves a raise!

Itā€™s tough when you know your prices beat Publix, but you donā€™t do anything about your store. I canā€™t afford to shop at Publix all the time, so I have to go here. And each experience is worse than the last. At least there are spots in their gravel parking lot. Not gravel but nearly there. The store layout is nice because it allows you to stay in the store for an hour minimum. A maze! You donā€™t miss any of your groceries! I donā€™t blame the staff or management. I blame corporate. Divert some money to this store! Close it down for 3 months and overhaul it. Repave and remodel. Because once this store closes down, thatā€™s the last cornerstone. Everything else in the complex is done. Best case scenario. Close it down and build an international market like a Nam Dae Mun Farmers Market.

Not just the worst Kroger, probably the worst super market in Athens. Dirty, rarely ever well-stocked even during slower summer months. I avoid it at all costs.

I've been coming to this Kroger off and on for about 8 years. I'm starting to understand why Kroger is closing long-time stores like Disco Kroger in Atlanta. The experience of shopping here vs Publix is night and day. I come here for pure convenience because it's the closest store. In the past couple of weeks I've had multiple experiences where the parking lot was filled with shopping carts like a minefield. Earlier this week I watched a heavy set creature put her groceries in her car then push her cart right in front of my truck when the cart return was TWO PARKING SPACES OVER. I literally had to go over and put the cart back myself to avoid it hitting my truck, all while she sat in her car and watched me. Then today I pull into a spot and lo and behold, another cart in my spot. I had to get out, push the cart once again TWO PARKING SPACES OVER, then get back in my truck and pull it all the way in. The two girls returning carts had no sense of urgency. This is partly due to some people in Athens being complete trash and partly Kroger's fault for not being on top of their cart situation. When I walk in there are barely any carts left and none of the smaller ones and I only needed a couple of things. Then I get to self checkout, all the registers are lit up but I get to an open one and it has a printer issue and doesn't work. The employee is standing right there doing nothing. Turn off the light or fix it. They only get 2 stars because I got 4 12 packs of Coke Zero for $13.88 which is better than what Publix usually offers but tbh I'd rather just pay more at Publix at this point.

We used to frequent this store often. We will no longer shopping at this location. The store is consistently understaffed, dirty, and unorganized.Click list is never good experience nor is the store experience. We try to Saturday morning grocery shop as a family prior to me going to work. The past few times weā€™ve had to use self checkout because none of the registers are open. I bet you can imagine how difficult that is with two toddlers. The best thing about this location are the Starbucks employees.

This is an okay grocery store. It's a little messy, and it looks like it's constantly being filled with new items, but you'll find the basics here. Also, inside is a Starbucks to the right when you first enter. It also has an ATM which is good if you're looking for one of those.

The worst pharmacy experience ever. Rude pharmacy tech . I told him several times that I had called the other Kroger pharmacies in the area and none of them had this prescription,. He had the prescription, but gave me a hard time about transferring it. He kept telling me to go to the Kroger on Alps Rd. I must have told him 10 times that they did not have it. Did not want to do his job and certainly did not want to do it with a minimal level of courtesy.

I switched from shopping at Super Kroger on Highway 29N to this Kroger location on College Station Road but things aren't much better here. Over the past month, I've noticed that the small, double-decker buggies are rarely in the lobby anymore. And there are usually only less than a dozen regular buggies in the lobby. How can customers shop if there aren't enough buggies in the lobby?? The self check out cashiers aren't very friendly and don't even say hello or good-bye or thank you for your purchase. In other areas of the store, I've been completely ignored by employees -- they'd rather talk to their friends who are visiting. The store is not very clean. Expired food (department wide) on the shelves. Kroger's sales are also extremely annoying. Buy 5 save $5 or whatever. A lot of times items are out of stock so I can't buy 5 to save the $5. The grocery next door, Publix, has extremely easy BOGO sales and doesn't make you jump through hoops to save money. See you later Kroger. #customerservicefail

I have been using Clicklist since 2018, and I have never had an experience like today. On my drive over, I got a call from Kroger telling me that my 6pm order would likely be ready after 6:30. It was already 6:15, so I told them I understood and didnā€™t mind waiting. When I pulled up, one of the store managers, David Fowlkes, was going car to car to personally apologize and explain the delay. I even saw him loading groceries into trunks. He was running back and forth to check in on his staff and on us customers. Itā€™s always nice to see management thatā€™s willing to pick up the slack and help where theyā€™re needed. I pulled out of Kroger around 6:40, which was still much less time than if I had gone in to shop with two toddlers. Clicklist is super convenient, and I appreciate the option as a working mom. Even with the delay, this experience was still quicker and more pleasant than many Iā€™ve had with other pickup services. I was very touched by the extra effort I saw today by David and his crew, and Iā€™ll continue to use and recommend Krogerā€™s Clicklist service.

College Station Kroger is literally a trash hole. There's never any buggies available. This is unacceptable at 5 pm! If you do get lucky finding a buggy, you can 100% guarantee it's all jacked up and broken! The employees complain non-stop at the registers about working there (can't blame them, I guess). It's dirty and a miserable shopping experience. Do better, Kroger! It makes shopping at Publix like going to Disney World.

Overall good but produce is always old/bruised and needs to be consumed immediately, prepackaged fresh fruit/veggies usually have at least half that are inedible due to extreme bruising/mold

I have used this Kroger for many years. I am very disappointed in their Customer Service. They offer nothing but a refund when they send out bad produce and thawed frozen goods for pickup. I don't want to make a return trip to exchange it. If this was the first time that this has happened I would over look it but It has happened way to many times. It will be worth the extra money to shop Publix or one of the other Kroger's.

It kills me to see able bodied young men standing around at checkout doing nothing and then to walk out my groceries and see Teri getting up buggies up by herself.. totally ridiculous. Shame on you Kroger schedulers and managers. I won't give you a 1 ā˜†, bc I found the items I was looking for, but geez people. RESPECT goes both ways. šŸ˜®

For the last 5 years the pharmacy has went down! I Hate trying to get my med from here! I go online having to deal with anybody. All the new people are not friendly nor the know what they are doing. It pointless at this point! Soon to be change & go else where.

I despise Kroger with a passion any more.As a food store it compares unfavorably to Walmart. WALMART! Which actually pays attention to quality as crucial to maintaining **value.** Or Costco, where many food items are actually up-scale (super quality) but price per weight is still a bargain. Costco's emphasis on quality really impresses me.And then there's Kroger, which is clearly bottom feeders that would feed you chemical waste straight from the barrel if they could. The latest blow is their store brand cottage cheese. Until recently this was a good product, tasted just how it should, but now they've tightened their cheap-o screws on it. They changed process and it's the most disgusting cottage cheese ever, like crumbled tofu mixed with elmer's glue.

I came to Kroger with a coworker around 12:30a to shop. I work two jobs and sometimes itā€™s hard for me to find an ā€œappropriateā€ time to shop. As me and my coworker are shopping - a particularly disgruntled employee - followed us around the store continually letting us know they closed at 1a on the dot and not a minute after. Several other employees encouraged us to continue to take our time, that it wasnā€™t a hassle, but this employee physically and verbally continued to express his dislike for having to deal with us after closing time. When we did get to self check out, he did not in any way help us along. He did not offer to help ring anything up and when we needed an override he huffed and puffed. At one point my coworker needed to go to the car to grab something, the door was locked, and he didnā€™t even help her with the lock. Instead he stayed behind me, arms crossed and not speaking when I asked if he planned to help her with the locked door.Iā€™ve never had an issue with Kroger in the past, and I understand more than anyone dealing with customers all day since I work two jobs. But I have never in my experience, treated PAYING customers with intimidation and as little respect as he did us! I will not be shopping with the Kroger on Barnett Shoals Road again.

Recent changes imposed at the corporate level lead me to like it less than I used to do. Of most importance, they no longer have their pharmacy open 24 hours, which makes it difficult for me to get my many prescribed medicine. I've noticed that they've started a pick up service for groceries ordered online. The last time I looked, though, they were charging around six dollars for it, and I know at least one other store that does the same for free.
