I was referred to Gameday by someone at my work and I’m so glad. They are the best! They treat my dog like she’s their own. They even fight over who gets to groom her! And my puppy is always excited to run in and see everyone. She loves staying with them all day while I’m at work. They do amazing work and the prices are great.

Gameday grooming always does a beautiful job on my dog, Poppy! Every time I come to pick her up, she is either playing with other dogs or sitting in someone’s lap, tail wagging and with a smiling face! The fact that Poppy always seems happy and comfortable means so much to me because of her past in an abusive home before becoming a member of my family. AND I am still so impressed that they can get bows in her hair!

I took my son’s family’s 11 year-old long-hair cat, Darwin, to Gameday after discovering that her matted fur was too much for us to deal with. We were nervous, as Dar isn’t the friendliest kitty, we’d never used a groomer before, and the mats were pretty bad. Adam and his team worked diligently and gently, offering Darwin breaks and doing a thorough job on her coat. After a full afternoon at Gameday, she’s a new cat, sleek and smooth and healthy. Even though it was a bigger job than they’d expected, Gameday charged us price they quoted. I’m so impressed and recommend them highly.

These guys do a jam up job on your pet. The staff is friendly and great about getting your appointment made quickly according to your schedule. My schnauzer is very particular and usually frightened when I take him anywhere else; he was instantly at ease moment we went inside. When I went to pick him up, he was just sitting in the receptionist lap with not a care in the world. They did an amazing job in just a few hours. The location is easy to get to and no heavy traffic around location located. I highly recommend this groomer to anyone looking for someone who will treat your baby like you do!

I took my golden doodle for grooming, and the experience was fantastic, from the introduction to pick-up. It's clear they are passionate about their work. The owner went above and beyond, even offering to walk me to my car with an umbrella during heavy rain. The staff was friendly, informative, and kept me updated on his visit. Zeus looks great, and he had a wonderful time. Grateful for the excellent service and prices.

I brought my cats, Lilo and Stitch to Game Day Groomers, and I am very impressed! My cats were extremely nervous about going in, and when I picked them up they were really relaxed. After I let them out of their carriers, they were so soft and calm and relaxed. I couldn’t believe that these were the same two cats I dropped off this morning! I will be sure to go to them again, and it’s just silly in my opinion to go elsewhere for your pets. If you love them, bring them here!

I took my dog here for the first time today. The staff was super friendly and they informed me my dog was great. The one thing that concerned me is that it seemed the staff had their dogs running around while they worked — understandable, hard to leave your dogs home alone for 8-12 hours. My dog is very friendly, but he is high energy so I do worry about him getting overwhelmed or too worked up. However, after my dog was done with his groom they informed me that he did fantastic and was no trouble at all!

We are new to the area and needed to find a cage-free grooming salon for our two Portuguese Water Dogs. This place did not disappoint! My dogs had been going to the same groomer for 7 years so trying someone new made me very nervous. Adam was amazing over the phone and at drop-off, my dogs were obviously comfortable and at-ease. PWDs can be tricky to groom, but mine came out looking amazing! We couldn't be happier! Thank you!

I swear Adam is a Disney princess. I have a rescue poodle, who was abused, and is not very trusting at all. Adam was so well mannered with him, and wonderful, so professional and knowledgeable I could not more fervently recommend a business. This meet and greet interaction alone has made me a lifelong customer.

I've been taking my dog here since he was 4 months old and he loves it. The owner and the groomer are always very patient with my millions of questions and love to see my dog. Gameday Grooming is the only place I will take my dogs to get groomed (and go to daycare).

SO excited that I happened to stumble across this groomer! My shih tzu is one year old, and I've always taken him to a competitor (down the street). I've never been over-the-top excited about the job they did, but the last straw was back in May. They shaved my sweet boy and it was horrible!! My dog honestly walked around like he was embarrassed. So, I decided it was time to try someone else. I could not be happier about my Scamp's precious haircut! Kerstie is awesome! I definitely found his new groomer. Do not hesitate to bring your fur babies here. They were EXCELLENT! He looks like he was smiling!! 😁🐶

Took my dogs here a while ago, they both got very choppy haircuts that did not meet my requests and it took them well over 7 hours. The dogs were clearly traumatized by the experience and are both now scared of big dogs (they’ve never had a problem before). I will not be taking my dogs here again and I recommend you don’t either.

Holy Moly! Best grooming ever! We are in Athens for 3 months with our labradoodle and I was dreading finding someone, as our dog is miserable at the groomer she sees at home. Not only did she come out clean, gorgeous and just how I like to see her hair cut, she was happy and totally unfazed!! If only I could fly here and get her done when we return home. Wish every groomer was this good.

Gameday grooming has been fantastic for our dog! She is a little nervous and has had trouble fitting in with groomers. Gameday took a different approach. They let her roam around with the other dogs and settle in before starting her grooming. She looks beautiful everytime! She comes home tired and happy, and I have noticed a marked difference in her behavior toward other dogs and people. We will be sticking with Gameday!

My dog doesn't even say goodbye to me when we get here and sprints to the back. Safe to say she loves it here, which speaks volumes. Best place to board in Athens (and only $25/night). Easy decision when you want to get away for the weekend!

Needed my dog’s nails trimmed. I tried The Dawg House first but that place was so unwelcoming. Didn’t even have a place for me to sit while waiting. I called Gameday Grooming and Adam said to come on. I went there and my pups nails were trimmed and ground in less than 10 minutes.

They allow majority of dogs to run freely, only a matter of time until ANOTHER dog gets attacked. Not a good environment.

Tyrsa did a beautiful job on my Charlie, golden doodle. I think Charlie is in love with her. When I came to pick him up, he wasn’t in any hurry to get out of there L O LL O L . In the seven years I’ve had him, he’s never looked better

Hands down the best grooming service in Georgia. We run a rescue for special needs animals. Many of our rescues have been severely abused and are not able to be adopted out. Stormie was our most recent rescue and due to the severity of the abuse she suffered, multiple stab wounds, broken jaw, and more; she was understandably scared to death of anyone touching her. We had to get her groomed, but couldn’t find anyone she would trust. Game Day Grooming was recommended to us by our vet. Scheduling was super easy. They spent time with Stormie and were able to make more progress in one appointment with her than anyone else. We can’t recommend Game Day Grooming enough! They are now the official groomers for PF Pet Rescue.

These guys were amazingly helpful with my boys. They did a long board with them due to a move and they seemed to really enjoy their stay! Staff was all extremely nice and helpful and I'd bring my boys back to them before anywhere else. They're definitely happy to be home but I'm pretty sure they'd love to come back for daycare at some point!

The whole team was amazing!! So friendly and so gentle with my baby. Me and my sister came in right before they closed to get my dogs nails trimmed. Not only did he not freak out like he usually does when anybody even touches his nails, he was SO happy afterwards and usually he’s upset as he dreads it so much. Y’all definitely have a repeat customer now! Thank you all for such an amazing experience!

The second time I take my dog, they only shaved him; they didn’t even consult me. They are supposed to be professionals and give him the cut of his breed, but it only looks like lazy work. The face wasn’t even done properly, one eyelash longer than the other, and the beard was crooked. Besides, I had an appointment at 12:30, and they handed him over at 6:30; it was clear they were in a hurry to leave.terrible service.
