Double Gap Farms is a slice of heaven on earth. They have a variety of animals, including horses, sheep, goats, and my favorite, Zeke, the donkey. Additionally, they have dogs, puppies, and cats. And they have a huge tortoise! They breed labradoodles that are adorable. I can sit for hours playing with them. All the pets and farm animals are so sweet,happy, and well-loved. The owners are artists…very good artists. They willingly share their knowledge about the farm, the animals, their art, and life. Double Gap Farm is a peaceful, special place with something for everyone.

Double Gap Farm is a peaceful farm with sheep, horses, goats, chickens and Labradoodles. They have the most beautiful Labradoodles with a new litter ready for their forever homes just in time for Christmas. The owners, Michael and Tammy Meissner are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. I have always had an enjoyable visit to the farm.

I took my daughter and niece here and we had a great time. They have a variety of animals and have meat and eggs. I highly recommend this place and I will be back. Thank you for being so welcoming!

Beautiful farm, great people enjoyed my vist with the owners and playing withAdorable puppies and seeing some of the other animals and feeding the donkey had discussed art with the husband for over a hour I’ll be back soon would recommend for anyone looking for a dog

They sold us a labradoodle on July 7, 2018 for $750 which was infested with sarcoptic (contagious) MANGE. They stated that the dog had been treated, no longer had mange, and was safe to be around our children. We trusted what they said and went through with our purchase. That was Saturday. By Monday, we had to take him to the vet due to his non-stop scratching and whimpering in pain while doing so. The vet concluded the dog still had sarcoptic mange, contagious to humans and animals (more commonly known as scabies in humans). Additionally, the puppy was infested with ear mites, hookworms, and covered in scabs that had become infected. After his scheduled follow up on October 1st, we will have spent well over $500 on something they should have had treated before selling the dog to our family (including two small children). We have tried contacting them, unsuccessfully, for repayment of vet bills since their website GUARANTEES the dog will be free of fleas, ticks, ear mites and infectious disease. It also states that the dog was checked by a vet for congenital diseases. I have seen no record of any vet visits. They used breeder vaccines so who knows if they were done properly. The people seemed so nice and trustworthy that we accepted what they told us. Had they informed us of the mange before we drove from North Carolina to pick him up, we would have insisted on clearance from a vet or our money back. We didn't get that chance. They waited until we arrived, 3.5 year old daughter bursting with excitement, and we brought up the hair missing from his ears, before saying a word about it. I am now filing a suit in the Magistrate Court to try to recover the money we have spent trying to get this poor puppy healthy again and for not providing the healthy dog they guaranteed they would.
