Had to leave a review for Aramis. He greeted me when I walked in and asked if I needed help finding anything and told me to let him know if I did. I don’t think I’ve ever been greeted by someone when walking into a Dollar General. When checking out he was super friendly and respectful. Keep up the great work, Aramis!

Had to change my review. Ever since they have put in the self checkouts you can't find anyone in the store. Not all of their items scan so you still need one of them to come up and over ride it. I looked around the store and saw no one there but vendors filling their stuff. Finally someone came and helped me and all I got was you need to holler so we can hear you. Very rude. Some new girl ain't never seen before.

09/12/2021 @ 750 pm. Very very rude customer service! I was under the impression that the Appling store was open until 10 pm. The cashier informed me and the other customers in the store that she was closing at 8pm and that we needed to hurry.I purchased a bottle of prenatal vitamins for my daughter and a bag of ice. Your cashier had the door locked before 8 pm and when I informed her that I wanted a bag of ice she stated to me "that from now on I need to bring the ice in the store". I usually never complain but, her behavior is unacceptable!Please improve.

Wish ZERO stars were an option. This location is God awful!! Dollar General is not prepared to deal with digital coupons. Period. Sherry at the location in Appling, Ga, her customer service skills are HORRIBLE. I MEAN HORRIBLE. On a SATURDAY, there is one lane open, a customer with coupins holds that lane up for 20 minutes or better. Sherry finally decides to open the other register to check people out. While checking me out, one of my digital coupons does not take at the register. I show her the coupon and what I have meets the coupon criteria. I also told her there is a digital coupon advertisement hanging on the shelf for this very item. She says oh well, I don't know, it isn't taking. I was adamant that the item met the criteria. She then manually adjusted the price at the register. After checking me out, she puts her til away and LEAVES. Leaving ONE person to the store on a SATURDAY! I had to go back in for a Birthday card. After standing in line for 16 minutes, I tossed the card across the counter and told the clerk this was ridiculous! And left. I also told another customer who was just getting out of her car that she should be prepared to wait. She put her child back in her car and left. I've had many less then good experiences here, but today was it. Someone needs to look into this location. It's awful!

This is THE cleanest most organized Dollar General I have ever been in. It was easy to find the items I needed to purchase and WELL Stocked! I had to make this review because I was so impressed! Great job guys!

Nice store. Well stocked. Friendly staff. However, stocking carts are frequently in the isles. Also, customers ignore the "masks required" signs and no one enforces it.

I just bought a gallon of milk, farthest date out they had...got home and it was completely rotten. I opened it and the smell was so disgusting. Of course I didn't get a receipt, that's my bad (I guess)But also the phone wouldn't even ring. Just says they're unavailable to take calls. I am soooo annoyed.

My job is near this DG so I stop in often after work, it's a lot cleaner than the average DG and since it's next to a busy road. The in store music is also chosen by the employees so you can find yourself grooving in the aisles they really like Disney by the way.

Its convenient if you live near by because everything is a good distance away. Brand new store and friendly employees. As far as dollar generals go this is an excellent, new and clean store in a good area.

It's a DG, not much more to be said. Oh wait, there is! It's clean, they don't have stands/carts blocking the aisles, they're well-stocked, AND the clerk was friendly.

The bathrooms are cluttered and gross. They dont seem to clean them ever. I had to have a vendor find someone to even give me the key to the bathroom.

I only rated it as ok because of the constant turn over in help and by no means a fault of management.A lot of people don't want to actually work for the pay they receive.

I have been to a lot of dollar general and most of them are very messy with stuff laying all over the floor some are so bad you can't walk down the row but some are very clean
