This is the closest store to my house so naturally it has been my 1st choice for quick, short shopping. Over the last few months I have noticed high employee turnover, low stock selection and the store being overall messy. After my most recent experience, this location will be an absolute last resort. There was yet again another new employee at the register. I wasn't greeted or acknowledged by him; he simply started scanning my stuff. After scanning everything he just stood there. I looked to find my total and paid for my purchases. He then hands me my bag, again without uttering a sound. At this point I'm just waiting for him to say "thanks; have a nice day; come back"; anything that would acknowledge the fact I had just spent money. Nothing. As he handed me the bag, I asked him if he was tongue-tied, nervous, or was simply unable to speak. He stood there silently. I told him that he should, at the very least, have said "hello" and "thank you". I told him that I am in that store regularly (at least once a week). What I should have added was the fact that were it not for me and every other customer who walked through the door he would not have a job there! The worst part was that the manager was in the store and heard me yet made no effort to find out what the problem was. I will have to be extremely desperate to shop there again.

This was a better stop than usual. The aisles were fairly clear and there was help in the store. Like most retail places they apparently had more work to do than time because they didn't volunteer to help but they did help when asked. The young lady actually walked to where the product was before returning to her task.

Had what I was shopping for and I found a few more things that I have been wanting. Place was clean and organized. The sales associate was very friendly and helpful.

The store in statham has gone downhill. Empty shelves. Limited supplies on everything and only o e register open 3/4 the time. It used to be pretty good. Must be why they have help wanted signs up everywhere.

I stop here almost daily for items on the way home but today I was a little disappointed that I was not told ahead of time before ringing up and paying for $97 in merchandise that I could not get a receipt...when I asked if I could come back and it be reprinted the fairly new cashier asked the manager on duty about getting me a receipt she acted as if she was bothered by the fact he even asked and stated no.. there is no way to pull up a receipt that doesn't print..with attitude I might add.. first off he asked s simple question he obviously could not answer otherwise he would have..two.. if you cannot fix the printer then post a sign so that the consumer has an option to visit your other location near Clietts Crossing!! I do not expect to have an issue when I need to return something if I do and as much as I do come here I would expect you all to honor my "non paper $5" coupon this weekend!

It's alright. Too cool of a place to walk in and commit a robbery or start a gun fight. I don't have any beef with this place cause it speaks to me in a general sense. ...a dollar general cents, ya heard?!

For the area of clark hill its a nice store to have ...since there its nothing close by ...price seen to be a little up from other DG store but.

It's a standard run of the mill DG it's near the lake so they run out of coal, hot dog buns and hamburger buns often. No real complaints

Had to take away the better rating do to new employees every couple days,store sales prices ringing up wrong at the register, and the stock sitting on carts blocking access to isles constantly.
