I have shopped here for a long time. I like the products, and the prices are fairly reasonable. And they have the selection I like.Now the disappointing part. First off, TRAIN your staff on how to bag groceries properly. It’s not rocket science. You DON’T bag things with bread or vegetables that will damage the product. You DON’T bag chemicals with food ( even though they are in separate packages). The manager is a useless employee. There have been several occasions where I personally protected some customers from people who are in the store begging people for money and other things. Had to protect some customers in the parking lot from a big bulldog that the owner was letting run loose in the parking lot and then begging people for money. I’m a grown man who is a veteran who is not scared of any of this. But there are a lot of older customers who would be intimidated by these situations. And the so called manager just hid in the office and did nothing. Also maybe a 1/3rd of the staff has attitude problems. If you don’t want/like your job, then find something else. I work very hard for my money, and customer service is pretty nonexistent. How about maybe some, Thanks for shopping with us, Have a nice day, Come back and see us soon, We appreciate your business!!! They need to understand without customers THEY HAVE NO JOB!!!

Im always running in here for something little or to stock my house. This time, it was just an Edwards pie for bible study. I will say there is always a line. I stop here, so i dont have to deal with Wal-Mart, but sometimes Wal-Mart is faster since they have all the self check outs now. If you're in a rush, it's 50/50. Chance, you will wait in line a bit.

This place had a lazy feel to it. A few workers were looking unhappy and tired emotionally. There was no enthusiasm with anything. The warmth of great customer service wasn't there. I got a few things and I was happy to leave. The atmosphere brought my mood down.

The store closes at 9, but the deli shuts down at 6:40?? That just doesn't make sense. Overall only okay.

It's a pain in the a$$ to have to constantly change from "Forsyth Commons" to Food Lion. Oh sure! I visited an effing Parking Lot for 45 minutes!

Just went to the Food Lion in Americus GA. The employees are rude, they don't acknowledge the customers, just continue talking among themselves. They don't even have the common courtesy to say thank you for shopping here, but grabbed the money fast enough. Won't stop there again. Don't want to be best friends with the checkout girls but would like to be acknowledged & spoken to while checking out. It's my money that helps to pay their salary, perhaps they should be reminded of that. Definitely need some remedial customer service training.

This Food Lion is Great place to get groceries, our cashier was great! She deserves a raise. She was very nice & helpful plus bags all the groceries while other employees stood around, watched without helping, was talking & laughing at something. RUDE..RUDE..RUDE!! This guy needs to either be trained again or demoted! Jaylon Davis the night manager was professional about a year ago. A few days ago he was rude and belligerent to my wife about a product that was advertised incorrectly. She asked him several times to calm down and that she didn’t want to argue. He continued on and then got an even worse attitude and “looked her up and down” in a demeaning manner. We have spoken to one of the managers about this and that manager apologized. Unhappy customer due to bad customer service. Great store..bad manager who needs to be reprimanded for his unprofessional behavior.

.The fist thing I noticed as I walked in the door was the pleasant odor. It wasn't a turnoff like some stores I've visited. They have a nice selection of items to sell, all properly placedand reasonably priced. The staff was nice as I was greeted as I walked throughout the store. No long lines and I found everything I need. Great experience.

The store is good. They have a good selection and also have good weekly sales. The only negative I can think of is that they don't honor the double money back on returned items. They might if your willing to ask and demand it but I feel if it's promoted throughout the store you shouldn't need to ask!

The first couple times it was great. But on this Saturday was the worse. My order was wrong got charged for what I didn't get. When I tried to call to talk to someone when I got home, I got hung up on. Had to call pharmacy to go get a manager to please talk to me. After 8 tries I got the manager. I even got charged for what I I didn't get. So maybe the weekends is not a good time to shop that way?

My first experience with online grocery shopping at Food Lion was great with the instacart shopper. I will definitely be using them again. I love how the shopper communicates. My only downfall is app sometimes stop working and nobody will answer phone in the store.

A good place to shop, clean (even the men's restroom), small variety, but good quality. I have never had a problem with their meats, never seen any meat close to their "purchase by date" not marked down. I do not go during heavy shopping hours.

Nice grocery store, not too busy so checkout was easy. The produce was of good quality but the rotisserie chicken was too dry to eat we purchased the chicken around 4 pm and tried to eat it about 20 minutes later.

Always very clean and pleasant. They normally play 50's and 60's music, which makes it feel like you're in an old TV show. In a good way. I've been shopping here since I moved to Americus and they've never let me down.

Its ok. . I do know they had a sale on crab legs, I asked the girl working in the seafood department if they had more than what was bagged up in the bunker, ( only one bag and it was just many for me) she said they did but I couldn't get a smaller amount. She wasn't very nice and she really didn't want to take the time to weigh up a smaller amount. The store manager was standing near, I know he was able to hear the conversation but he walked by as If he wasn't interested in giving any service at all.

Staff are rude, unprofessional and does not present themselves well. They need to appear bathed and practice good hygiene. Some older staff that work during the daytime have awful, defeated, oppressed attitudes and they should be fired immediately. No one wants to shop in a store where the staff are as nasty as the spoiled milk in the refrigerator area.
