Last year I purchased my Stihl chainsaw from Swinehart’s and this year a backpack leaf blower. I had closer hardware Stihl dealers to choose from but I decided to drive 10-20 miles farther to deal with a full service dealer who concentrates only on their power equipment. I’ve not been disappointed. Great service and no pressure to buy with an amazing inventory of all types of power equipment. I highly recommend buying from this family run business as well as the Stihl brand in general. A good investment in quality tools!

This is absolutely the best place to get your commercial mower, maybe even a mower if not commercial. Customer service at its bests. We have been using Swinehart for all our Scag mower service and parts. Our 18 year old tiger needed to be replaced and we headed off this morning to see what was available both used and new. With in a short time we had our New Tiger all ready to go. The staff was AMAZING, giving us time to think about our purchase and helpful with ever step. For us, Swinehart is the best place to have your mowers serviced, and to purchase at. We have 25 years in the Lawn care business and have seen many places not even compare. This place is the Best Around.

This place has the most amazing staff and selection that left me very impressed. I purchased a UTV from Gene and he was one of the most friendliest, easy going and knowledgeable people I've run across. Not only did he make the purchase very simple he took my wife and I for a ride and was never pushy or made us feel rushed. I will definitely be going back and using them going forward. This is an amazing family business.

This place is the worst service I’ve ever had in my life. They literally ignore you. Bought chainsaw from them last year. Service was OK. I went back last week. Went there to look at buying a new generator. Waited in the line, waiting to speak to someone only person in the line people just walk back-and-forth from the front to the back and ignored me. I’ll never go back to this place ever again.

I bought a 15000 dollar turf tiger two there has not been one time me or any of my friends that got me talked into buying from these people called or walked in up there that they have not made excuses or been rude to us . Their nice when your buying something but rude when you call about a deficiency in the products they sale. Don’t want to stand behind products they sale. First off I didn't refuse anything. Not a good practice to lie. The first time I mowed with the mower after I bought it all the hydraulic fluid leaked out due to factory or dealer did not tighten hose fittings properly. Mower was stuck in yard, had to use my tractor hudraulic fluid to keep from leaving a brand new mower in the weather. When I brought it back you all corrected the problem bit when I asked about the fluid I had to waste to correct problem with brand new mower I got smart response. On the current subject I explained the paint was bubbling on a mower deck that has always been kept in a shed & you told me it would not be covered under warranty but to waste mu time to bring it for a look see. Then you proceeded to tell me about chips on the paint on your truck which has nothing to do with me or the mower I bought. Lie all you want don't change what you said.

My father paid over $4000 for a grass catcher in December. I picked up sticks in the yard before he started trying to us it. Small sticks 4-5 inches long and about the size of spaghetti would stop up the hose. We were offered $2000 for it back. We have been long time customers and spent many $1000s .The owner says that he didn't sell it , we bought it. Then he said that we should have done research on it before we bought it, I thought that's what salesman were for. No , we should have researched him. I only give him 1 star because I had to. This place is awesome! Y'all to Gene on the phone about a piece of equipment. He ordered it and it came in when he said for the price he quoted. He had it ready to go when I arrived from Dahlonega to get it. I might also add that his store is very clean and organized and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. I'll be back!

My old generator died and I went searching for a replacement. Swineheart had a Honda 4000. It's bigger than the one I had and it had multiple outlets on the front. I told both salesmen who were assisting me that I needed a 30 amp 220 to plug into my house to run the lights. I also told them that I'd really like to have a generator with the power to run my 220 / 30 amp well pump. Neither salesmen ever made a statement that the 220 outlet was not a 30 amp. One salesman said that the generator may be able to pull the pump because the pump may not be a true 30 amp. He got on the floor and looked directly at the 220 outlet and told me I needed a L14-20 plug to attach to that outlet. He then said he had no clue what the letters and numbers meant. I bought the generator and went looking for the L14-20 plug. I discovered this was a 20 amp plug. I called Swineheart the very next morning to try and return the generator. I was told all sales are final. I gave my argument as described above, but no consideration was given. I'm now stuck with a generator that will not work for my needs. I will not do business with Swineheart in the future.I can assure you that if any math was offered, 'man to man', I would not have purchased the unit. We were making our way down 365 looking for a replacement and would have kept going. May God bless you sir.

We went in to Swineharts this morning looking at mowers. We ended up buying one. I drove it for 5 minutes in the parking lot and fell in love. I came home and mowed the whole yard in half the time it usually takes. My husband said he has never seen someone look so happy mowing grass. He will never get to drive it. Lol. Gene is great! Definitely will send more people their way. My daddy sent us yo swineharts and it was a great decision.

Terrible customer service, after the sale. Six months after buying a $12,000 mower, it was having a small issue. My husband took it to the dealer, and asked if they could check a trouble code. And, the guy at the counter looked at him as if he had ten heads. He is a full time landscaper, and we depend on our equipment. We were told at the time of purchase, if we had any issues or needed anything, to just call or bring it by. Totally not true!!!! Going forward, I will spend my money, where people care about their business as well as others. And, respect their customers instead of making rude comments, and being hateful!!!!

Looking at buying a zero-turn mower, stopped into Swinehart to look at the Scag mowers. Ended up talking to Adam for about an hour, learned a lot about ZTMs, and that's where I now plan on buying mine. Family owned and operated business, Scag dealer since 1985, and they have a in-house cat. Any place that keeps a pet on premises definitely gets bonus points.

I've looked at a dozen places to get pricing and information on Stihl power blowers and other power tools. Most places, they point to the display and say "That's what we got." If they got involved at all, it was usually an attempt to nudge me up to the next higher price point. Here at Swinehart's, Adam was great! Very, very knowledgeable about the products. A lot of information he confirmed. But he filled in the gaps with a lot of stuff I didn't know or hadn't even considered. He didn't try to upsell me. In fact, he talked me down a notch or two from what I thought I wanted. I don't have a landscape business with six trucks to outfit with two of everything. I'm a home owner with a little bit of ground to take care of. He took a huge amount of time to answer all of my questions. Never got impatient. Never acted like he had bigger fish to fry. Adam will never get rich from the few power tools I'll buy from him over the next few years. But for a while yesterday afternoon, I felt like I was the most important customer he'd ever had. I really hadn't expected to be a blip on the radar in a big "professional" landscape supply store. Total misconception on my part. If you need outdoor power equipment and you think you're ready to buy from anyplace else. Go by and check out Swinehart's. Absolutely worth pulling off of highway 985.

I wouldn’t buy nothing from this place and if you do have a push mower or riding mower don’t bother calling them for parts they will plainly tell you if you didn’t buy it from us we ain’t selling you nothing for it. Save the call and go by and go to Harrill Brothers where they treat you right no matter where you bought it at.
