I love this store. They have a great selection of natural healthy dog food and treats. They also have the most adorable clothing, shoes, accessories, hair bows, glasses, hats, socks, and anything else cute to dress your pooch in. They also carry salmon and cod skins (like bully sticks but made of fish) that my dog loves to chew. They are not easy to find... he’s on an all fish diet and he can’t have bully sticks or anything other than fish due to allergies, so this is where I go to get his fish skin and fish based kibble. It is located right next to a Starbucks, bagel boys and close to Avalon, Publix, ect so it’s very convenient to get more than things for my pup. I highly recommend The Unexpected Pooch for anyone who loves to treat their dogs with high quality food, treats, cute accessories and more!I forgot to mention that during this difficult time, Starla personally delivered my order I placed last night-today! She even answered my email about fish sticks not on their website that I know they have in store quickly and added to the website so I could order it online. The customer service is amazing. My pup and I are happy they are still in open right now. I hope you will decide to check out The Unexpected Pooch.

If I could give this store more then 5 stars, I would! Elizabeth is sweet, knowledgeable and is wonderful at her job. I live in the area and needed new harnesses for my 2 puppies. I stopped into Unexpected Pooch and was amazed. They have unique, cute and simply adorable pet harnesses, leashes and collars that no one else offers...and at reasonable prices. They also have a great selection of clothing, food, treats, accessories and pet travel items. Anyone and everyone that has a pet should go check them out and spoil your furry one today!

I love this place. I came in to look for my 1 year old lab some strong chew toys. Even though Dexter is a larger dog I was able to find several toys that he loves and they are still in tact. A few weeks ago I purchased a plush elephant and some large beef chew bones for him to chew on. He loved them and with his sensitive stomach the only thing he can chew and digest. The store is nice, clean and everyone is so nice. I will be back to get this adorable treat jar I have had my eye on. Anyone with any size dog can fine items in here for their furry friend. I was very happy and will continue to shop here.

So my friend told me she found this really amazing dog store and around Christmas (2019) we went on in. We went with our new puppy Louie. The team at Unexpected pooch are AMAZING! They took the time to go over food as I never realized the was a huge difference. Also my pug dose not like to wear clothing but we got our pup to rock some amazing stuff! If your ever in the area check them out! We have found everything and MORE at this one and done pet shop 💕

Unexpected Pooch has a great selection of holistic dog food and treats. We found the cutest sailor dresses by Toni Mari and beautiful collars made in NYC by Around the Collar. So many things to spoil your precious pups with. Just love this new boutique!

I had the best experience at Unexpected Pooch! I was immediately greeted as soon as I walked in and was able to find what I was looking for quickly. They have a wide variety of different dog food brands, but specifically they sell Steve's Real Food which is what I was looking for. My dog has done a complete 180 after I switched to feeding him raw and I'm so happy they sell my dog food.

The grooming my yorkie & yorkiepoo received did not display experience. Uneven cuts and they cut their whiskers . Animal HospitalCutCan I cut my dog's whiskers? We would never advise a dog owner to cut off their pet's whiskers, unless advised by a vet. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I live halfway across the country, but have friends in the area who had just learned their dog was very sick. I called to see if they would be able to put together a little treat basket and get it over to them that day. It wasn’t your typical situation, but Elizabeth and the owner (whose name I didn’t get) were incredible! They went above and beyond to put together a basket with treats and other goodies (even doggie beer!) and had it delivered to our friends less than four hours later. If I lived in the Alpharetta area, I would most certainly shop here! Thank you again!!

Hands down one of best pet boutiques in the area. The staff are amazing, the selection is amazing, and they have events and other fun outings constantly! Do yourself a favor and stop on it! You and your pooch won't be disappointed!
