Honestly the best and most affordable dog care I’ve come across. While not every breed needs regular grooming, they do need routine care and that is something Scenthound understands well. I’ve been taking my dog to this location for just under a year and it has made a significant difference in both his appearance and comfort. Before Scenthound I would take him in every 5-6 weeks and every time he would be super matted even with weekly brushing and ultimately needed a hefty haircut. With the monthly bath and brushing, his matting has reduced 100% and he and I both feel good about that! Even when he does get a haircut added onto his service, it’s never been as invasive as other groomers. There were 2 back to back instances where my dog had some razor burn after a trim so the next time I brought him in I spoke with the groomer to see if they could be cautious around his tail. In the following days Scenthound reached out to make sure my dog wasn’t experiencing a rash or discomfort and noted they used a different blade which I really appreciated. This staff really cares about your pet - Worth every penny. I did try to cancel the membership to save some money for two months and I regretted it immensely. We took our 9 year old dog here for the first time this week and they did an excellent job. She was looking pretty scruffy since we hadn’t had her groomed in awhile, and she looks so much better now. They did exactly what we asked for and took good care of Elsa. Definitely would recommend and will be back. Thank you.

One of the groomers cut my dogs leg, resulting in her having to get rushed to the vet and get stitches. The groomers paid for the bill but still instead of my dog all nice and groomed for her second birthday she is forced to wear one of those comes around her head and be sad.

I have given Scenthound several chances. Each time has been an extremely bad experience. I agreed to a membership for services and wasn’t getting them done. When I finally questioned them about it they told me my dog doesn’t like the dryer so they can’t do the deshedding treatment, however they kept charging me for it. This last time I was in I picked up my dog and he was wet, he had a yellow pee spot on his leg and he still looked not bathed. They did rehash him only because I complained. I will NEVER return .

My experience with your groomers we’re terrible. My dog’s face were not shave. It look they didn’t do any work on my dogs. They also didn’t smell like they weren’t showered. they still had eye boogers on their face. They didn’t brush out the mat in one of my dog’s tail. They even charger me as a non member for my second dog.

We were told that they would dry our dog after his bath, but not that well unless we paid a $35 up charge to have him fully dried, which we did. The dog came back stinky and damp, especially behind his ears which has lasted 20 hours at this point. Will never come back

First, I have to give big kudos to Cody, who was manning the front desk! This was our first time at ScentHound and I couldn't find the store due to all the construction! He ran out and found me and guided me in! Our dog, Chloe, loved the experience. She came out with the softest fur ever and seemed to actually enjoy being there. We will return again soon!

Just Okay for a quick bath, but this place isn't for a haircut.I own a West Highland Terrier, and the Westie style should be a little bit more precise, than other dogs.Scenthoud doesn't provide customized haircut for Westies, shih tzu, or other special breeds.However, I tried to give it the try, considering the lady understand " short cut with Westie face ". I should guess was a risk, but never thought was that bad.The photos are before and after, and I am not really upset about the haircut, that the way the person in the groomer treated me.When I drop my dog at 1pm, the lady said , will be ready between 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours.I got a call about 2:05 while I was in a conference call, and she hardly inquisite want to know when I going to pick the dog, and I said between 45 minutes to an hour because I am working.Her answer was : we cannot keep the dog here because it's again the policies.Me : totally understand, but I am working, cannot leave my job, just because my dog groomer finished sooner.Groomer : We would not be able to accept your dog in this place...!!!Me : thank you for your understanding, you can leave my dog outside by the door, tie the leash...!!! what else I can do.This type of situations, when you have to deal with square minded people, who are not the owner, and trained to follow the manual kill the experience of a good groomer service

*** DO NOT COME HERE ***This is a real reviewThe photo below is of my sweet puppy Oliver with a horrendous haircut.Had a scheduled hair cut for my 8 month Maltipoo. This dog is the sweetest most playful puppy I’ve ever had. Never hurt a fly. I get a call after 2 hours saying that they couldn’t finish because he was getting too aggressive and was biting and asked if I could just come back tomorrow. Weird so my 8 month puppy who has had many haircuts and at every appointment I get told how sweet he was now he’s aggressive? We’ll once I get there my puppies half done with a haircut that looks all messed up. They begged me to come back the next day which I obviously didn’t. Once I left everyone ( the two 20 year old workers in the store ) leave right behind me. Hmm what a coincidence? If he was this “aggressive” why didn’t I get a call an hour ago when it was supposed to be in the middle of the haircut? Why are they okay with me coming back tomorrow? Seems kinda fishy I’d say?Well! I wasn’t born yesterday, these workers just decided they didn’t want to work anymore that day and went home. This is unacceptable. Especially that they lied to my face to get off of work. Tell me you don’t have time, but don’t tell me a bold face lie about my puppy. Never coming back.PS : I know this probably sounds like I’m biased protecting my puppy but I’ve never had any dog of mine become aggressive or to bite anyone ever. I train my animals very well.

I made the appointment for my dog: Benji, we were there looking for improve his fur, getting the Fuzzy Muzzy, earlier this month he was there and got Mr Whisper style, it was perfect but still long and its the reason because we decided do it again. I explained to Elizabeth in a video the expectation of the look and we talked about the long of his fur. I NEVER said something different, even when they made me a quick call.For my surprise they CHANGE completely how my dog looked, taking off all his beautiful fur, he doesn’t look now how he used to be, we wanted something shorter, I NEVER SAID take off, you change everything.This is so disrespectful, irresponsible and insane. You played with the appearance of my dog, I gave you instructions, even if my dog was mad o whatever, you CAN NOT DO THAT, he doesn’t look right for us, his grooming is not what we’re looking for.You’re offering a service, but if your personal is not in the capacity to handle certain things you should let know the customers.We’re beyond upset, disappointed and dissatisfied and we NEVER going to come back to that place, and also I canceled my monthly subscription.Benji is not just a dog, he is our son. We care about him, and this BIG MISTAKE is having an impact in our life.We eventually will move on from this situation but it’s sad trust in an organization and receive a poor service.

Brought my dog for her first appointment yesterday. Everyone was very kind and friendly. I love the simplicity of being able to bring her here for a monthly appointment to have all her grooming needs taken care of, and for all they do you can't beat the price, especially in this area! Very excited to continue bringing her here as it saves me the time and stress of trying to bathe her and clip her nails at home. Not to mention she smells great and her fur is so soft!
