The biggest Kroger supermarket in Atlanta. The store is so spacious, clean and well organized. This store sells many products and look out for products at discounted rate. They also sell good varieties of cakes. Their Deli section is very good. Compared to other Kroger stores, I have visited this store sells more varieties of products.

I bought this today on their clearance section. I opened the bag and the smell was horrendous. Checked the date NOVEMBER 01 2022!!!! Are you guys serious??? Why are these even on the shelf this is a whole year out of date that you all are selling to people just to get money.

My Kroger is the 12870 Hwy 9 location. My Kroger is the best! I enjoy shopping at my Kroger because this Kroger is very well organized, always well stocked, the staff are genuinely helpful and I always find what I need! However, the best part of my Kroger are the staff…in particular Tony. He always goes above and beyond with the customers and his peers.Thank you,Jeannette

Marcus is the best person they have working here. He is a tall gentleman who always wears a cap. I very much appreciate him. Everyone else is extremely rude at customer service. I do not care for the short lady with the glasses at all. They need to treat customers better. But thank you Marcus for being a good guy to deal with!! Also Tony is an excellent manager who will go to great lengths to make sure your experience at his store is pleasant. I will keep shopping here because of these two men. Thank God for Marcus and Tony. God bless you both and I will keep coming back.

I was told I could only get a store credit because they don’t do refunds from other Kroger stores and I had my receipt for a same day purchase. I was told by Victoria at customer service who was taking instruction from a manager she called on her cell phone but refused to share that managers name with me. She also advised me this policy was on the website. However, after reviewing Krogers return policy, nothing on there states such a rule. Needless to say I won’t be returning. It’s the lying for me!

Convenient location and good parking. Has cheap gas - would definitely go back if in the area.

Farmer treats his animals he is growing for the meat with more respect than Kroger treats it's customers. Someone made "genius" decision to protect customers from quietly buying groceries on self checkout when they don't want to talk to anyone, but THE REGISTER IS SHOUTING AT THEM, GIVING ORDERS AND TELLING EVERYONE AROUND WHAT THEY ARE BUYING AND WHAT IS TOTAL - BECAUSE IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO MUTE IT!!!!!! Then the next customer starts scanning and dropping his cabbage on your orchid, when you didn't take it out of the belt yet!

Checkout here is now a disoragnized mess. The self checkouts used to have six kiosks. They removed three of them and replaced them with two self checkouts that have conveyor belts. The line regularly stretches deep into the aisles because this massively flawed recent design makes the process incredibly inefficient and incredibly slow.If they are going to add two conveyor belted self checkouts, there needs to be someone bagging at the oppsite end at all times because otherwise you have to walk to the other end and haphazardly bag your stuff before the next person's groceries make it down the belt and comingle with yours.Even without that new mess of a conveyor belt checkout design, I cannot understand the logic of removing three self checkouts in an incredibly busy store and replacing them with two. The Kroger on Grassland had six originally and added three more regular shelf checkouts for a total of nine and also added the redundant conveyor belt checkouts along with them. Why didn't they do that at Windward?

New self checkout takes twice as long now. Idk what they were thinking… line backs up almost to the other side of the store. They need to fix this. Everyone is furious

Extremely rude customer service from Maria and this is my second interaction with her and she talks down to you as if you’re bothering her. Another random time I saw her having a confrontation with an elderly woman and I took it upon myself to tell that woman when she was leaving bc she was shaken up “Don’t let that bother you bc she rude to EVERYONE” …She also lies and says it’s her last day bc she doesn’t want you to complain about her. Not a good fit for Kroger front of the house customer service.

Got the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had a day after eating the sushi here. I know it’s from this, because I was home for Christmas and ate the same meals every day as the rest of my family. Except one day I had this sushi for lunch when I came to get some things. It ruined my holiday vacation.

I'm writing to express my satisfaction with my recent shopping experience at Kroger. Here are a few things that stood out:Wide Selection of Products: Kroger offers a great variety of products, making it a one-stop shop for all my grocery needs. I can always find what I'm looking for, from national brands to store brand options.Convenient Location: The Kroger store I frequent is situated in a very convenient location. It's easy to get to and close to my home, which makes grocery shopping a breeze.Helpful Staff: The staff at Kroger are consistently friendly and helpful. They're always available to answer questions, point me in the right direction of products, and offer assistance if I need it.Overall, I've had a consistently positive experience shopping at Kroger. The wide selection, convenient location, and helpful staff make it my go-to grocery store.

Horrible experience at this location’s Customer Service Guest Services desk. Maria S. is a very rude representative, evasive, unprofessional, and needs to be removed from the front desk. In my opinion, Maria S. is clearly unfit to be a representative of Kroger’s brand and she makes them appear to give false advertising on what their return policy really is. She comes off very discriminatory. I waited patiently for 15 minutes while she answered a white Woman’s questions and then held a full blown conversation afterwards. I asked a specific question about what Kroger’s return policy for a purchase under $10 without a receipt and she blames me for talking in circles when I had a direct question asking me why did I ask that. She dodged the question and stated everything under the Sun that Is NOT FULLY DISCLOSED on Kroger’s return policy website which is an enforceable contract under Georgia’s Attorney General’s Office. She is under the front desk counter being recorded with Kroger’s cameras and tells me she does not consent to being recorded is NOT needed for my private safety affidavit purposes. So clearly she does consent to be recorded lol. No worries when Kroger’s cameras can be SUPONEAD to hear all of the bold faces LIES she was creating about the RETURN policy that she and from her version is SOLELY FOCUSED on Kroger’s best interest as opposed to the customers’ which was non customer-focused and is evidently false advertising. In addition to that, showing how rude she was by walking off in the middle of asking her a question, assisting others when I wasn’t finished with my question and never returned until she saw me making a complaint on her with Tyler. Her dodging the answers giving the run around when I have clear evidence that she didn’t do that to WHITE people. Kroger’s website specifically states the return policy in a clear and concise way. However, this location REFUSES to honor it if you’re a NON-WHITE person and will only offer an alternative other than what the policy specifically states.

This store is horribly biased against tourists. Check out staff insist on a United States ID and refuse to accept foreign passports as proof of ID and date of birth.By this reasoning, any tourist or visitor who is considered visa exempt by USCIS or customs and border control is not legally permitted to purchase alcohol. This smacks of prejudice, ignorance or both and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere in future.Take my advice and go to Target down the street instead.

Organized and well stocked store. Limited number of checkout counters compared to other Kroger’s.

WORST experience by far. Unfortunately quite a few recently but this one far topped the list. Waited in line over 30 min (yes, over 30- timed it) simply to try to return a rotten item I had bought the day before. I would not have waited had I not kept thinking it surely wouldn't be much longer, due to seeing so many staff members standing around doing nothing. The line was built up to the isles, carts were having to move around the line, etc, and after 15 minutes finally someone showed up to work the desk. It then took another 20 until a second staff member finally stepped in to help (this was due to 2 people behind me in line running around the store trying to get help b/c no one cared to SEE or help). It was ridiculous and absolutely disappointing. I was a very frequent and happy Kroger customer but this was so bad that I am questing ever going back. The lack of care or acknowledgement from many of the staff members was unacceptable for ANY place of work. However, cheers to the woman who stepped in at the end and got the program running and very sweet. She was the only one.

New self check out with conveyer belts have horrible engineering. You have to wait for each item to clear the belt about 1/2 way so it can check size weight of product. 1- this creates extended time to fully check out. 2- seems like honest, paying customers are paying the price for theft with extended time to check out. 3- no discount for self check out and bagging own groceries. 4- belt stops if groceries pile to far up the conveyer belt. Again, bad engineering which is creating bad customer experience. I grew up in Ohio and have been a long time customer, 40+ years. Thinking about moving all grocery shopping to Publix. Sure, I will pay a bit more but its hassle free with excellent customer service.

No cashiers at 9 pm on a Saturday night. It took forever to get checked out because there was only one employee overseeing several registers. Ridiculous.

Stores is the worst! Never stacked. I drive to the one on state Bridge. Bakery department staff is super nice though and go out of their way to help you and get you the items.

The store layout is easy to navigate and selection is above sufficient. The Simple Truth and Simple Truth Organics products are the real deal. Prices are fair. Occasionally they run out of certain products which is frustrating. That’s especially true in the produce department. The produce quality is average. Sometimes you’ll find some tasty fruits and vegetables, but occasionally there will be disappointment. Checking out can be hit or miss. It usually works out, but once in a while there isn’t even a cashier and you must use self-checkout if you want to or not. When there is a cashier, he or she is always friendly.

Problem-Zero Customer Service. Stopped in this morning to get some flowers for International Women’s Day., and other. There were 2 employees in the flowers dept. Neither one greeted me, asked if they could assist, thanked me for choosing Krogers. Nada! Though I have seen a drastic decline in Customer Service in most stores since the pandemic, it’s still hard to accept especially in this case 12 roses cost 💲 69 dollars. I finally understood their complete lack of Customer Service once the store manager came through. He passed through the Dept twice. He greeted his employee but completely ignored me standing about 3 feet away from where he walked. Leadership or lack thereof is always reflected in the attitude of the staff. If management creates a culture that supports Customer Service, staff would follow suit. If management shrugs this, so will staff. So I left and took my dollars to Publix. The price and selection was much better as many of the flowers at Kroger’s was wilted.Consumers-use your spending power & stop accepting subpar treatment!

I purchased a baked chicken there today and there were feathers on the wings and legs.I understand chicken's may get through the slaughtering process with feathers but the Kroger kitchen should clean them before they are baked. GrossReally gross

There's a Starbucks located inside...decent selection of baked goods and fresh produce but there seems to be a lack of employees working the night shift. Be prepared to use the "self-checkout" if you choose to do your grocery shopping in the evening.

I was there trying to get some to-go food on the sushi bar, when I picked up the food, and asking the employee at the sushi bar if I can get some napkins, the lady point her finger to the baking area with no patience. I went to the baking area, asked the other employee again for the napkin, she told me there is no napkins and she just grab some brown paper towel to me, said they only have these paper towel with no patience. I had a to-go food on my hand, and she just gave me some paper towel for cleaning hand, that's so disrespectful! Who gonna use that brown paper towel for cleaning mouth? I got a lot pressures already, and just forgot to pay at the cashier, walking trough the exit door at front of the sushi bar(that's so wired, a exit door is fully open with no check-out area, the check-out area at he other side of the store, you're not able to see at the sushi bar, there is no security door, no security guy at all). The man(I thought he was the manager there) come after me and started to yelling at me: DO YOU WANT GO BACK TO PAY IT OR YOU WANT ME TO TAKE IT! I told him I just forgot to pay. He said:No! You don't! I said: You're disrespectful! He said:You're disrespectful, you didn't pay it. I said: I forgot it. He repeated again: No! You don't! I was so angry, he treated me like a criminal. He definitely was watching the camera monitor all the time, or the sushi bar employee reported to him, but nobody wanna help me, they treated me as a criminal , an enemy. That's the worst shopping experience in my 11 years life in America that is the Kroger made! I will never come back to Kroger in the rest of my life!

Clean and always fully stocked. We have been bringing our family to this location for over 3 years. Generally we are there at least once per week so we have been able to see first hand the consistency of the staff at this location. The store is always clean and stocked. We especially appreciate the folks in the deli as we always take their time by ordering so much Boars Head. Staff is also very helpful so feel free to ask for help!

Well stocked and clean. Staff could be friendlier though our checkout lady was great. But when we were obviously looking for items and several Kroger employees passed us or vice versa, no one proactively asked us if we were finding everything or could they help us. That would get them 5 stars.

Quite possibly the nicest Kroger I have ever visited! The employees are friendly and very helpful, the products are well stocked and the store is very clean. I especially love the vast cooking / baking supply isles filled with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, small appliances and everything else I could imagine needing in a kitchen - all at very good prices! I also love coming here because the store is never crowded - I came here on Thanksgiving Day to get a few things I needed last minute expecting the place to be crazy but the store was well staffed and I didn't have to wait in line for more than 2 minutes. Not every Kroger I have shopped at have been so pleasant - thank you for going above and beyond to help your customers at this location :)

So yesterday I blasted the Kroger on Old Alabama because the staff was rude and they would not open a checkout lane when I had 70 items with a lot of produce, it took me 20 minutes to check out because I had to weigh everythingSo today I am at the Kroger on highway 9 near Windward and the same thing only self-checkout was open but I simply asked the employee if there's a way to open a register because I had 75 items with a lot of produce and he said absolutely come down to register nine his name was michael, nicest kid in the world and then malu came over and started bagging for me and I was done in less than 5 minutes. Isn't it amazing how I was treated differently at the same exact branded grocery store? The answer is leadership... Whoever is managing this location has the respect of his team... they will probably do any thing for him or the customer because they care about their jobs .
