Absolutely useless! They refused treatment at 7 am to my dog who was attacked by two off leash random dogs! That’s a deal breaker for me! After all the money I’ve poured into this practice, the one time we really needed them they rudely turned us away. Terrible service 🤬

I have been a long time client of Alpharetta Animal Hospital (more than 15 years) and can’t say enough good things about them. While they are a very busy clinic, I have always felt well taken care of there with all of my fur family and continue to fully trust that we’re in the very best hands! I have referred many people and will continue to do so.

I've taken several of my pets here. They were recommended by RMG after I fostered and adopted so I continued their care here to ensure continuity and because I liked the vets and staff so much. One was a very sick kitten found nearly frozen + a severe respiratory infection. They saved his life! He's now running around my house like a true kitten and making up for any lost time while sick. They didn't give up on him and I'm so grateful for that. I've also taken my two very old chihuahuas (one passed at 17 and the other is 20 now!) here for checkups, tooth extraction, and other treatment. Despite their age, they've gotten the best of care. When one had kidney failure, they were able to revive her and she lived another 4-5 very comfortable and happy months. They could've just said she was old and it wasn't worth it but they recognized that she had the fight to live and was treatable. She eventually passed away a few months later but I'm thankful for the extra few months she had - happy and healthy. When she did pass, Dr Keller was so wonderful and kind at such a sad time. I've been to many vets as I have had a lot of dogs and cats over the year and I highly recommend them!

Absolutely everyone we encounter at Alpharetta Animal Hospital is so kind and helpful. We don’t have one assigned vet, so we have seen a few, and we give 2 thumbs-up to all! We also take advantage of the grooming and boarding services—all the best! Thank you from Bella and her cousins (also AAH clients).

My friend recommended this practice to me for my kitten, so I am a new customer and have been there 4 times now. I really like the fact that you do not have to have an appointment to see them and that they open early. I have been impressed with both Dr. Perales and Dr. Doiron, they are friendly and knowledgeable, and my kitten likes them too. I have not had a pet in a long time so I do not have recent vet experiences and prices to compare this one to. I am happy with them and am recommending this practice to others.

I have used AAH many times and they have always gone above and beyond. They are so compassionate and you can tell they love all animals. I had to put my 15 year old Cairn to sleep due to cancer and they allowed me to spend time with him before as well as during the procedure. A few days later they sent a sympathy card as well as a paw print of my beloved Scruffy. It meant the world to me.

We set an appointment for the same day for one of my Pomeranians, who had developed a strong diarrhea and the team there took care of us really fast. We went in at 5.30 pm and Dr. Davenport was quick and very helpful. My dog was taken care of nicely, and we got some prescription medicine for him. Hopefully he'll be good soon, but in any case, the attention was amazing.

Best Place I can trust bringing my Sally here. They are kind to her when she was still young and had too much energy. And yet kind to her when she is now older with joint issues. A little bit of a wait time if you come at the busy time, but it is an walk-ins no appointment needed. I understand. And if there is an emergency case of cause they should be prioritized. Thank you for everything you all do, love our pets and not trying to overcharge our bills.

My family has been using this animal hospital for almost 30 years for all of our pets. I've seen almost every Dr. and they are all amazing. You're not just another number at AAH. They really do care and take the time to explain things. They are typically very busy when I go but I never feel rushed. I'll continue using them and highly recommend them to all of my friends and anyone who is looking for a great place to care for your pet.

Love this practice. I tried other vets that are closer to our home, but non come close to the service we receive from Alpharetta Animal Hospital. The office staff is very friendly and the doctors and aids are amazing with the animals. They totally put my dog at ease, and seem to genuinely care. What they charge is reasonable as well, and not having to make an appointment is wonderful. Recommend Alpharetta Animal Hospital to every one I know.

I've been taking my dog and cat here for years after having some very troubling and expensive experiences at other vets in the area. The hours are super reasonable and the fact that they have walk-in hours almost all day everyday makes it very flexible in case of an emergency or taking your pets in during a lunch break or something. Even during very busy hours, im almost always seated in a waiting room after 30 minutes and out the door after an hour or so. I would wait up to 2 hours to be seen by them if necessary, though

Alpharetta Animal Hospital has been taking care of my pets for over 13 years. Dr. Keller had been taking care of my boy Winston since he was a puppy. When it was time to help him cross over to the rainbow bridge, Dr. Keller was right there with my family helping us through the whole process. AAH truly cares about the animals and their staff are like an extended family. I will never use any other vet.

Tried to have Dr Sims call me to talk about my dogs skin condition as the vet she referred me to hasn’t returned my multiple calls and I couldn’t get an appt. She had someone call me to say she had referred me to a skin specialist in March. Well I needed to speak to her but she obviously can’t be bothered. Check yelp reviews. People are not happy with this facility she is uncaring and unconcerned and I needed tests done but will have to go somewhere else. Very unhappy

Cat owners: Beware!Very disappointed with my last visit for my 2 year old cat. I've been taking my childhood dog to this vet for over 15 years and have never had an issue, however, this last time has me searching for a new vet entirely. It’s a real shame, since we love our usual vet that’s worked there for quite some time. The younger female vet for this visit was extremely rough with my cat, grabbing her by the scruff and yanking her from her carrier aggressively (the carrier had a lifting top for easy, non stressful access). My cat has never been non-compliant, she doesn't scratch, bite, hiss, or hide during any part of the process. When they took her back for a urinalysis for a UTI (which should be a relatively painless procedure), I heard the most guttural, heart wrenching scream ever come from my cat. She was given nothing for pain management whilst having a needle inserted through her abdomen, and into her bladder, despite the bill being upwards of $500. When she was returned, her eyes were watering and she nearly FAINTED on the exam table and was in a state of complete shock, and the vets (or techs?) only response was "yeah, she flinched pretty good when we stuck her". She was dazed and unable to walk when we took her home. There was no follow up after traumatizing her and doing god knows what behind closed doors, I was terrified and have NEVER seen my cat in that condition, and she has routine vet visits with "uncomfortable" circumstances. I understand that sometimes there are painful things that must happen when caring for pets, but this HAD to of been ENTIRELY unacceptable.

Doc, Finn, Hogan and our beloved Moose are and were patients of this exceptional Veterinary practice. The office staff, physician aides and doctors are the absolute best I have ever found. I would never go anywhere else... EVER. All our "boys" love them, too... and that's saying something :)

I've been using this vet since 1996. Always pleased with the care and the vet care. Front staff were always helpful.Even during covid they were great! However several of their best vets have left and imo only one remains who is an excellent diagnostic vet that looks for cause vs just treating symptoms by "the book"I was disappointed that they discontinued walk ins. I can make an appt but if you have an acute situation and they are "filled" you're usually out of luck even though they do try to accommodate after you ask the front desk to ask a doctor. Not having Saturday hours even for walk ins is a huge disappointment. The front staff has turned over a few times and quite frankly with the turn over to their new computer system/software/phone upgrade, several of my booked appts were either not updated or removed. So I was out of luck. Hopefully they have worked the kinks out.I still whole heartily recommend this hospital but always recommend a specific doctor who has been there since we began going there, who is a 10 out of 10. I gave a 3 rating only because of the procedural changes that have been implemented. Otherwise it would have been a 5.

After using Alpharetta Animal Clinic for 20 years we’re looking for a new vet. The services have changed, the prices are significantly higher, and they aren’t as compassionate as they have always been. The fact that they are closed on Saturday for vet services is definitely a deal killer. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that our favorite Dr’s have left also.

If you have time to read this, PLEASE do. I have a very strong opinion about Alpharetta animal hospital and the people who work there. My experience here wasn't average- it was the best experience I have ever ever ever had at a vet office. We were suggested to come to AAH by a friend under unfortunate circumstances- our sweet pup Nox was having seizures regularly that we could not control. Multiple overnight trips to emergency vets, racking up thousands upon thousands of dollars... we were so desperate and scared for our pup. When we came to AAH we were greeted warmly and treated like family. I have been in so many vet offices where I was treated like a walking wallet and I always had to beg the staff to PLEASE just tell me if it was their dog... what would they do? I was never responded to with honesty. That is until I came here. For the first time, our situation was assessed starting with "if he were my dog..." which means the absolute world to us. I felt like we were treated like humans, like they actually cared and sympathized for our situation (I know they did and still do). We came to the conclusion after even more trips to the emergency vets that our sweet boy had a brain tumor. It all happened so quickly and it absolutely devastated my husband and I. Nox passed at 9 months old, and we had him for 6. He was our little marriage puppy (we haven't even been married a year) and he made our family a family of 3 and we will always be that. Transitioning into life without him and mourning his life was made easier by the people at Alpharetta animal hospital. They gave us all the time we needed, sent us a card with his paw print on it and forget me nots.... respectfully and beautifully gave us his ashes so we could bury them in his favorite place... and just when I think they couldn't get any better, I get a card in the mail from UGA saying they donated money in his honor to their program. The Gholston brothers are phenomenal and walked with us in our journey with Nox in his last months. If you are taking your furry family member to any vet that is NOT Alpharetta right now, leave them and go here! They are simply wonderful, caring people that have the biggest hearts. I cannot say enough great things about them.

Yesterday Dr. Sullivan and her tech helped me say goodbye to Dudley (far right). Dr Sullivan promised me that she would be honest and tell me when the time had come, and yesterday was it. Alpharetta Animal has assisted me with other furbabies in the same way including Capaccino (the cat - far left). They made one of the worst days a little bit better, allowing me to hold Dudley so he would pass without fear. I can't thank everyone enough for being so good to us.

The staff is extremely rude and always condescending. Apparently you have to arrive 10 mins prior to your appt time, which I was not told, and upon arriving at my appointment (on time I thought?) I was told it was very inconsiderate of me to not give them a heads up I would be late. They bring your dog to the back while you stay in an exam room and I could hear the front desk receptionist talking badly about me to the tech. Seeing as this wasn’t the first incident where I was made to feel uncomfortable, I will be switching veterinarians immediately. Which is unfortunate as I’ve been coming here for a while (my dog is almost 11).

I usually don’t do reviews but felt compelled to share how wonderful this place is. Dr Keller has helped pull us out of a crucial time and placed it hold for now. We’ve been using this hospital since we moved here 34 years ago with 4 different small dogs. We’ve had all kinds of health issues with the different ones. We have never had anything other than loving care. We’ve just had another crucial experience with our semi aging baby. When you go through something like this, it means the world to have a loving, trusting and professional doctor to turn it over to. The whole staff and facility are nothing short of wonderful. We are thankful for all they do.

Dr Sullivan is the absolute best. Although she had a busy schedule today, she got my dog in immediately who was having a minor emergency and was very thorough in her treatment and explanation of care. She literally saved the day. We can’t thank her enough. We would also like to give a shout out to Cassie who noticed our stress and got a tech out immediately despite having a busy waiting room.

Absolutely LOVE this Animal Hospital! Everyone is so nice and helpful and Dr. Keller is the best! He always explains everything in such detail so you are able to truly understand everything that may be going on with your pet. I recently had to let one of my beloved dogs cross the rainbow bridge and he was so compassionate and made me feel I was truly making the right decision. I will always use this Animal Hospital! :)

This place is a nightmare now, we used them for years. We loved Dr. Keller, he was great. Once he left the entire place went down the drain. Can't even get anyone to answer the phone to transfer records to a new vet..

Took my German Shepherd with severe anxiety here for a week long boarding. The vet techs were great and patient with him as he got adjusted to the environment. The option to have him groomed before pick up was an excellent addition.Quite affordable and convenient for my schedule.100% recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Alpharetta Animal Hospital! Working in the animal welfare field, I am there almost weekly with different animals needing everything from routine vet care to complicated surgical or medical care. The doctors are all knowledgeable and caring. Oftentimes able to help pets other doctors have not been able to successfully treat. They have a larger number of doctors on staff, which makes scheduling surgeries and appointments much more timely than at your average veterinary practice. Would not hesitate to recommend AAH to all looking for exceptional care for their Furbabies!
