My boyfriend has been going here for months trying to find a girl rat and he always says how helpful the employees were and how accommodating they are, and eventually a few days ago, he got the rat he was looking for. The employees just always seem to help him and make him feel welcomed even though he is from Chicago and feels so out of place. Thank you guys for all that you do 🙆🏼‍♂️👩🏼‍🔧🧑‍🔧

We have been to this pet supermarket many times for pet supplies, but today we bought our first pet snake. The experience here was amazing. Indigo helped us with our purchase of our new ball python. She is a juvenile snake. Indigo should definitely get a raise. She spoke with us for over an hour on what equipment would be needed, feeding, temperments, and how big the tank should be. She was so knowledgeable and enjoyed doing her job. I would definitely drive an 1 1/2 hours to this pet supermarket if she is working again if I need to buy another pet. Both my girls enjoyed holding and getting to know the different animals as we made a decision on which snake to purchase. The store had everything we needed and was reasonably priced. Our little snake was also on sale, which made it an even better sale! 💜🐍💜.Thank you Indigo for being so nice, knowledgeable, sincere, and enjoying your job. You are amazing!!! GOD bless!

Wonderful staff with excellent customer service. Shout out to the young man named Christian. He is always super helpful when I come in and he’s very attentive. He doesn’t just point in the direction where an item is. He takes the time to show you and explains the product in detail. He has a love for animals and it shows. Highly recommend. Best pet store in Albany

I had a wonderful experience in Pet Super Market tonight. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. You get personal attention and their goal is to make every customer feel welcome and appreciated. You get what you need quicker because the store is smaller than the larger less friendly super sized pet stores. The willingness of the staff to help in any way possible was consistent throughout the store. Inventory was excellent and they price match. This is my first stop shop for all my pet needs.

We adopted a new kitten and needed a scratching post/tree to distract her from sharpening her tiny needle claws on our furniture. We spoke with 2 sales associates and they were very knowledgeable & helpful. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because their prices are a little high -- but I guess we have to expect that these days.

I have been a regular customer at this Pet Supermarket for a couple years now, and the service here NEVER dissappoints. I upgraded fish tanks this summer, and every staff member has been WONDERFUL. Indigo and Ashley have gone above and beyond to help me through several different issues I have had over the last several months. Today, Kerith helped me figure out my cloudy water issue, and she took her time talking with me to figure out the exact problem. All staff members here are so knowledgeable and caring and INCREDIBLY patient with all my questions! I won't go anywhere else!!

Definitely the best pet store in Albany! They have an amazing selection of fish and aquatic plants and all their fish are healthier than the ones you get at bigger chains. Even if they don't have what you're looking for, they'll order it and call you when it comes in. The staff is all super friendly and helpful too.

Good pet store, friendly staff, clean. I have one complaint though... Feed the fish, especially the Betta fish. There are plenty of staff there to keep the fish fed and the tanks/cups clean. It's cruel to starve any animal, even fish.

The employees go a long way towards this businesses success. Very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. If they don't have it, they will order it for you. Competitive pricing. (Best I can offer considering how expensive it is to handle and care for pets these days !)

One staff member is fantastic and one is terrible. The rest are okay. Because of the bad employee , I tend to avoid going in, but if I catch a day when the one woman is working, it's always a delightful experience. I have let the manager know about a very negative experience, so I was assured that the person would either be talked to or... I guess I'll see the next time I go up there.

Wonderful staff we were wanting a ferret and Billy asked what color and made it happen. Destiny got luxury of answering a million and one questions from my 8yr old but although some of the questions were a little crazy she answered them without hesitation or getting frustrated. Really wonderful people work there which makes for a great store!!!!

Super clean store, very well stocked. Manager is great! Some of the other workers not so much. Live fish from there do not come healthy or live long! Prices can be rather high, unless a good sale is going on.
