Ordered a case of smoked chicken for an event back in March 2024 that my wife and I was hosting. When we served the food immediately to our friends and family members they had informed us that the chicken was cold, dry, and tasteless/ unseasoned! When contacted the manager I was told to I should have brought the the chicken back but that was impossible because I didn’t have anything else to serve nor could I leave at that time being the host and limited servers. Also, their customer service are horrible , rude, and unprofessional leaving me and our love ones disappointed as a valued customers. We are done with Mikes Store!!!

Mike's has the best cuts of meat. I like being able to choose from the different types of sausage. And their meat prices are good too.

The prices are ridiculous high. On just about everything in the store. It was clean amd staff friendly but this is a k iCal store amd they charge more.

Mike's Country Store is very clean and well mannered staff. Customer Service is great. The prices are reasonable and the meat is fresh. Mike's is just another place that I go to get my meat from.

Ordered food To pick up this morning (Sunday 29 Oct) on Weds. 25th, got there this morning and nothing, no food, no cooks, nothing, left me high & dry and in a bad predicament. Had 25 people depending on the food. I won’t make that mistake again. Would not recommend them.

LATEST REVIEW 2023: JuneThe customer service has gone down. NEW FOLKS IN Meat Dept. Purchased some wings,small package...got home cleaned them, salt and peppered them. They had a weird " ammonia like" smell AFTER I cooked them. Had to trash them. Yes, I did report it to them...had to track down a mgr on duty in the store.Seems like they're having problems keeping staff at Gillionville store. Maybe I will try another location.Up front, the hot food isn't ready on time. A few times the wait was ridiculous. I waited more than 20 minutes for fried chicken to be ready because they didn't fry enough in the first batch at 11am. It was ok. It had been MUCH better previous times. MUST HAVE CHANGED THEIR FRY COOK.OLD REVIEW:Always good customer service there. In particular, the guys in the Meat Dept. Jason and the red-headed/light color hair dude, Kyle, I think, know their stuff back there.

I love this place and i visit all location when in Albany Ga. visiting my son. The smoke meat is what i buy and bring back to Miami .The locations are always organized and clean.

Mike’s remind me of an ole country grocery store. You could buy fresh produce and you had the ole open meat market where you had the butcher cut up your meat. You were greeted with a smile and friendly service. But the addition of a hot food bar is a plus. I’ll see you there soon.

All of the employees were very courteous. The service was fast. Store was nicely lit and quite clean. It had a family feel, unlike the big box stores.I also liked the 5 for $19.99, but I think the prices were increased on products that should have definitely been lower all to fit in the parameters of the deal

This was my first time in this store. I've seen it when I've visited but never felt the need to go. It's a good country store that reminds me of the country stores in Georgia when I was a kid. We found some of the items that you can't find anymore. But I only bought the moon pie and the items my mom asked me to buy. I thought it was great except for the lady standing by the registers like she's mean mugging everyone. My assumption is that they may have had some bad experiences with customers. I would have been ok if she'd just possibly smiled and said have a great day. Kindness still works and it puts a smile on other people's faces. You never know what type of day someone is having.

Always has the best steaks. This last time I picked up leg quarters. Better quality of meat than what Walmart will ever have. It's also nice I can pick up a multitude of other things here.

I love that you can purchase the meat and they will also smoke it for you. I discovered a few months ago that also smoke wings, ribs and Boston butt...aside from leg quarters.

Martel smoked meat for a retirement party and it was delicious. He came into work hours early just so that we could have it on time. The Boston butt was flavorful and moist. The chicken was perfect! Most importantly the customer service was A1! I will definitely order from them again.

I love my country store I like that and I'm continue shopping there for my meat and whatever I need there I never met him before like that I like the fact make me store this my first time ever went there a few couple days ago and I came from Florida I had a new store there they didn't sell me like that you know but I like the fact that might be still do pretty reasonable to me I'm going to continue shopping there I had a friend that went in there for me cuz I can't be on my feet too long and I'm trying to get me a wheelchair I like coming in would like to come in that store and shop some time and see what all in there I've been in Georgia since June last year I moved down here and I love Georgia I really love Georgia I like my country store and that's going to be my favorite spot to shop for my meeting stuff thank you night country store I didn't know where to go and shop for my meat but I'm glad my friend told me about me store

Excellent cuts of meat and variety. It has a hometown market feel to it with friendly staff and selection that feels more like an old fashioned grocery store of my childhood. Lots of fresh local grown vegetables and even smoked meats ready to eat. With locations all over Southwest Georgia, I like the idea I can find the right cut at a good price. It is a big difference in quality from the chains.

The staff is nice, but most of the food is expired..check the date..and when I asked why, the lady I spoke to with Brown hair said she was aware she just started a few mths ago and stated the store has white signs hanging throughout on the ceiling that states the the name of the store..but underneath the store name it says the food may be out dated..basically purchase at your own risk...wth..I complained because,I had brought hotdogs that were 2 mths old. A week b4, was gonna get it'll frozen pizza they were expired either a few months to a year out.. They have a hot bar.. very good food..but I wonder if they are using expired food..Whether they have signs there or not..expired food is unacceptable..especially more than a week or a month or more..not healthy. One should trust their local market.

Their slogan: "It's all about the meat" definitely holds true. They have huge selection of all types. Prices seem to be a good 20% below equivalent items in chain stores. They also carry selection of many other items needed by a household. Good produce department - prices here are a little higher, but maybe a little fresher, too. When they mark produce down, it goes WAY down - excellent bargains can be had. Finally, they offer good range of pre-cooked (smoked) meats: chicken breasts and quarters, wings, ribs, butts) at reasonable price.

I cannot begin to cover all the items my family and I find at Mike's. They are very high in quality and very low in cost. It's like the market my used when I was young. A little bit but a lot of hard to find groceries. I especially enjoy the personal contact with a butcher to get the right cut of meat...the folks there make everyone welcome with a Large W.

The breakfast was great!! The lady made sure our food was hot and fresh, she was so polite and patient and accommodating to all of the people she had in line. It was like going to an older aunt's house.

It's easy to see that the negative reviews were by people with an axe to grind. One even related she was a former employee (probably got fired). This is a great store, ESPECIALLY for the meat.

I used to get the 5 for $19.95 chicken wings with 7 wings in the package. I went yesterday and it was only 3 peices in the package that means that I have to use 2 packs now and I'm still minus 1 wing. I realize that it's a crisis time but for ya'll to gouge the public like this is devastating.

Nice all around it great place shop for Groceries on a Soytherning style invironment. Great Soytherning BBQ freshly cooked meat to go, serving breakfast every day and also Lunch. So go check it out, I'm the one to tell you your surely will come back...

1/19/19I will not shop at MIKES ANYMORE..... I WAS ASKING An AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN IN THE MEAT DEPARTMENT WHY MY MEAT WAS NOT CUT WITH GLOVES ON, HOWEVER IN THE PROCESS A CAUCASIAN MAN TOLD THE Man TO STOP ASSISTING ME & TO ASSIST THE CAUCASIAN LADIES ON THE SIDE OF ME ...... ONCE I STATED THAT WAS DISRESPECTFUL & I WAS NOT GOING TO SPEND MY MONEY THERE I HEAR THE AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN APOLOGIZING TO THE CAUCASIAN LADIES I AM THE ONE THAT NEED THE DARN APOLOGY & MY MONEY SPEND JUST AS THEIRS SO TUESDAY I WILL SEE IF THE SITUATION WAS HANDLE BECAUSE THE MANAGER WITNESSED IT ALL!!!!!!

We pretty much like to shop at Mike Country Store when we are buying Meats because no one in town has the best cut Meats at the low prices that Mike's sell them for we recommend this store to everyone because you will have a great shopping experience here the staff is always friendly and the food is always fresh So you looking for fresh meats rather it's ground Orcutt then Mike's is the place that you need to be

They are overpriced! An Edward's (frozen)Pecan pie is the cheapest you can get anywhere else. Oh at mikked its $9. Over at Harvey's its $4.88. I could see maybe $6.88 or even $7. But come on! I've heard they price gouge. I finally saw it for myself!

I went tonight because Walmart closed at 8 due to covid 19 well I think I found my new home when it comes to grocery shopping now I will go to Mike's the staff was very friendly and the guy at the register with the grey hair lol I dont know his name but he was also very helpful when I asked for help with finding something if I could give 10 stars I would
