This place is great!! The owner is super nice and the shop in general is fun to go to! You get to go in and order whatever you want then look around at all the cool stuff till it’s ready. I 100% recommend it was amazing

We had a awesome experience here. It's Kid friendly has public restrooms. The employees were super helpful. If your traveling through this small town this is definitely the place to stop.Kid-friendliness: Our kids really enjoy the rolled ice cream. My son had 100 questions about how everything was made and every question was answered.

I was driving by the highway and was looking for a popular coffee shop but couldn’t find it. I am glad I found this place and blown away by its beautiful ambience and natural atmosphere.They have different candle patterns and antique designs which you can enjoy and purchase online as well.I have seen kids enjoying this place much. I am happy this trip gave me an opportunity to explore an old town in rural America and very interesting history as well. This town needs more visitors.

We stopped in to the Beautiful shop today! It was stunning inside and I tried the AMAZING ice cream CREATIONS!! Stopped in while on a road trip in October. These pastries (small raspberry and lime shortcakes) tasted as delicious as they looked- not often the case. Great coffee and friendly service. The shop actually has decor that was different from the usual homegoods stuff. Really artful and carefully selected. Well worth the time to stop in.

A bright spot in our downtown shopping district. First a place smells fantastic. Between The fragrant candles and the aroma that comes from the coffee shop side, it's hard to not want to stay there all day. I go for the fresh ice caramel latte to start my Saturday morning. And sometimes even treat myself in the afternoon to some rolled ice cream. Just a great downtown Adel experience provided by some genuinely fantastic people. Please stop by sometime and check them out if you haven't already.

We love to shop local as it is and this place makes it easy. It is definitely better than any other ice cream shop in the 30ish mile radius and I'm upset we didn't know about it sooner. The people are friendly and helpful when trying to decide from the many options available. The coffee smells amazing and although I haven't tried it yet, I predict it will be happening in the near future. The atmosphere when you walk in is nice and calming as well and smells great every time with the scent of the candles they offer for sale. Definitely worth the stop in!

The best rolled ice cream I ever had. The owners always go above and beyond which is evident everywhere you look in their store. The boutique is like no other around. They really focus on the quality. You haven't lived until you've eaten here. Nothing about the store is watered down or generic like a typical corporate business. They double down on flavor, all natural ingredients and good ol southern hospitality.

This is the cutest little place me and my boyfriend got a little mini raspberry lemon cake for us to share I got a toffee nut latte with almond milk and he got the rolled ice cream and their portion sizes are huge enough for me and him to share the ice cream and everything was delicious 10/10 would recommend going and I will be back :)

Disappointing to say the least. Drove up from Valdosta because their boosted (paid) Facebook ads were intriguing and when you clicked “see menu” on their ad it showed a light lunch menu. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon we were told “we don’t serve food here.” with no explanation even though their Facebook page clearly had a food menu on it. We wandered around the gift shop, but had no way of knowing what most things were priced as they had no stickers or labels. The candles for example were beautiful in their wooden dough bowls, but again no price stickers and there was no one available to help us. We ended up leaving and finding the most incredible Mexican food the next street over at La Mexicana Gonzalez. I would 10/10 recommend a trip to Adel for their street tacos, but I’d skip over this place. When I left a comment on their page they quickly deleted the menus and blocked me. Totally unprofessional. There are much better options in Adel. Don’t waste your time here.ETA : I’m not sure who they’re referring to, but I wasn’t there with a husband, I was there with my Mom. Their Facebook page DID have a lunch menu that was conveniently deleted after I pointed that out and there were two people in line ahead of us.

Absolutely wonderful hidden gem! Wonderful experience, great atmosphere, terrific prices, yummy variety of delicious treats and pastries. Total delight you have to experience for yourself. You even get a color changing spoon with the rolled ice cream!Parking: Main street, directional, decent amountKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, menus are easy to read/understand especially for school age children

I decided to try The Dough Bowl at River Chic for the first time today. I tried their rolled ice cream and it was amazing. There’s so much more things I want to try there and I would definitely recommend a friend. I had a great experience and the staff was friendly.

Absolutely beautiful and great coffee shop! My first time there and I loved it. My drink was done splendidly. Will definitely love to return when I'm in town. I love the ambiance. It's like visiting a coffee shop in Italy or France, or what I would imagine it to be like. It's so peaceful.

From decor to macaroons, this coffee shop is, in my opinion, one of Adel, Georgia’s best attractions. With its modern, yet antique vibes, beats any coffee shop within 100 miles.

Worst customers service EVER!!!Waited over 40 minutes and got skipped in line. When I confronted the lady about being skipped she tried to lie saying the other customer “placed” her order before ours, Which was not true. We SAW when the customer placed her order!!I went and told her about skipping us, and putting someone else’s large order ahead of my family’s order. She started yelling at us to GET OUT all because I confronted her about lying and skipping us!!DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE!I do feel for the older gentleman working there who’s always treated us with the utmost respect across the multiple times we’ve been there. Unfortunately this woman seems to be interested in costing herself business, arguing with, and shouting at long-time return customers, and we won’t be going back again. They also had a dog running around in the kitchen and never once saw them wash their hands.
