Bought a candy bar. Price listed was $1. Cashier rang it up twice, and it was priced in the system at $1.50. Went back to the cashier to get it fixed and the manager had a bad attitude (Not the first time she's acted this way) Not only did she give me grief over the being charged extra. She wanted to argue over the price. Checked the shelf and yep. I was right. STILL only refunded me for the one bar owing me money. I told her to keep it because clearly it was too complicated of a situation for her to figure out. The irony of the candy bar being to support literacy for Dollar General. The staff here is missing basic elementary school math skills.

Went to grab 2 things and get $40 cash back. No sign that says I can't. The cashier was extremely rude and embarrassed me with a line behind me. She made a phone call and gave me some fives and a tens she had. And never said sorry and basically just shoved it at me! VERY VERY rude customer service. I go there all the time, but I won't be now!When I approached the counter, all she could have said is she couldnt do cash back.

Multiple items were priced wrong didn’t realize till I checked my receipt before I left the store and I used self check out. I went back and checked the items to make sure I didn’t see the wrong price, then went to the employee at the check out line and let her know. Her excuse was they are in the middle of price changes. Couldn’t give me my money back all that she could do was have me return all the items and re ring me up she said it’ll take a couple days for it to go back on my card…. Obviously not going to do that that’s a huge inconvenience. If they’re in the middle of price changes before it’s changed in the system it should be changed on the floor first because that’s false advertising. I’ll avoid this store from now on because they could care less to help you or correct a wrong just repeat the same excuse.

Called for a water hose, their phone doesn’t work. They couldn’t hear me. Checked to make sure I wasn’t muted, and I wasn’t. Fix your phones please.

Love this store! The store manager, Christina is amazing. She speaks to you when you come in, you can tell she loves what she does and the store is always clean and organized. A great group of workers there that speak to you, helps you anytime you have a question and is always so friendly. What's not to love about that?!?!?

Used to be a great place to make that quick pit stop. Now trying to find anything is literally impossible and there new self checkout is a joke. The same card I pay with will not let me pay through self checkout and so I waste time trying to get help from employees and I get cant I'm on break though luck. Wow how things have changed in this place in less than 6 months, better off going to the huge stores and driving the extra 10 miles it will be better worth it.

Love the electric no touch doors! Great pricing and friendly service. Good variety of products. Hate that they stopped carring Mayfield products. Only 4 stars because a lot of times they don't have but one register open causing customers to stand in a long line. This makes running in for something quick, no longer an option for me. Still a good store.

The location in Adairsville, Ga has some major issues. A couple of weeks ago, I went in and noticed how busy the check out line was. I went on doing my shopping but there was still a long line at check out. I was tired and had no patience waiting, especially when I saw the manager helping out a vendor instead of waiting on the customers. I brought that to her attention and with an attitude, the lady said she was busy working and didn't have time to check customers. I have always been told that customers come first BUT NOT IN THE ADAIRSVILLE STORE. The manager is a tall, kind of heavy set blonde women. Plus, she didn't have a mask on!!!!!! I was laughed at as I was going out of the store but came back in and stood my ground.From a very disappointed customer,Leigh Ann

I felt like the employees were following me around the store, assuming I am a thief (I'm not), Then the cashier had an attitude whenever I ask her to remove an item due to it being "incorrectly" priced.. So I will try to find a different store before I ever go there again. Jesse loves y'all, (the people that were judging me)...

You will stand in line every single time you go there for at least 30 minutes minimum, The one manager(blonde) is very rude & hateful. Will have a line out the door LITERALLY and she will be just standing there. They definitely need a new Bigger boss & more employees, it's a busy store so 2 registers should be going!! Not 1 & everyone else on there phones out in the parking lot! Oh & if you even try to use a coupon, there entire system crashes and they will not let you even use the paper ones on Saturday! Stuff is always down every isle you can't even walk down most of them at times. If you are in a rush DO NOT GO THERE, This whole Dollar general needs redone with a new manager! The shift leaders are not bad, it's the big boss. Get more employees & fire her!!!

I shop here a lot because it’s close to my house but the cashiers are so rude and never up front at the register. I worked here for a total of like 4 days and in those 4 days I was treated with disrespect. The managers get to do what they want, when they want to. They told me that I wasn’t allowed to use the bathroom during my 7 hour shift! That is just ridiculous. They never called me by my name, just “hey”. I hated working there so much.

Great staff! The self checkout has been messed up for at least a month and normally there is only one cashier so the line gets backed up pretty bad especially here at the holidays. I wish someone would fix it

Would have given it 5 starts bec I love this place and the people who work there but....why have mandatory mask signs on the door if you're not going to enforce it? And why di the employees bother to wear them if they're not going to wear them correctly??

Would give 0 stars if I could. Ever since day one of opening new store it has never beenstocked much . You would think they were going out of business. Dark and gloomy . Only go if family dollar doesn't have what I need. The franchise ir owner or whoever needs to take an interest in this store. I hate going there. I've heard other customers complain about it also

Need to hire more employees! Was there today and the line was long! I guess ole boys shift was over so he just shut down the line? I had eight people in front of me. I just laid my one item down in the floor and walked out!

I love Dollar General, but I don't like the one near Cartersville, you don't have another cashier and more people that can put away stock so that they are not so crowded .

Normally a good place to get in and out really quick but the past few times have been so bad as far as lines to check out that me and my wife actually put our items back and left.

We are in the middle of a pandemic and this dollar general could care less. I only saw one employee wearing a mask and even though the sign said mask were mandatory they were not enforcing this rule whatsoever. They do not prioritize the safety of others.

The store is a bit too small for the growing population of Adairsville. Staff is great though and is clean and we'll stocked. Well, too stocked. It's like a maze sometimes

The store was ok. I know they have a job to do but it was crowded while they were stocking. My time was 9am being in there. Then check out the lady was on her phone the whole time she was ringing my stuf up.

A larger than most Dollar general offering an expanded freezer and food section. They also offer propane cylinder exchanges and Ice.

Dollar General has it all. If you don't want to hit the big box stores ( i.e. walmart), than this is the place for a quick stop shop. Some stuff is hard to find, but just ask someone and they'll show you right where it is.

I went in here while I was working and couldnt really shop because i couldnt get signal in there which is required for my job. It's all dollar generals and it's ridiculous. You cant even access the DG app while in the store.
