Boyfriend & I got both our ball python and our bearded dragon from here this month! Totally recommend, guy was super helpful, and made sure the animal was really what we wanted. Asked us if we wanted to hold them upon seeing the animals. Overall 10/10 experience.

Sad to see that this place has any negative reviews regarding comments on store selection, animal housing, etc. I think the selection is great on pets! They also opened a new location which is absolutely beautiful inside. Imagine how large a store would have to be to have 40+ gallon tanks to house all the animals. Most are sold as babies, and the size for their enclosure is with purposes to rehome are still perfectly adequate for them - this is a store not a permanent home. The animals are very healthy looking, the homes are kept clean, and the store is very organized. Anyone who has any negative comments must be going to the wrong store. Price reflects quality of animals. I’ve been to many other stores with horrific conditions. Chain stores (you know what I mean) buy from mills and you can expect a 50/50 chance at losing the animal due to this. Customer service is good too - very friendly.

They have some of the best snake and snake morphs I’ve ever seen. The place is definitely well kept, and I haven’t seen a single unhealthy snake or reptile every time I’ve gone there. All employees are nice as well.

I needed to locate a new local source for my reptiles and I’m so happy I found this place. I know they are newer than some other local spots. However you can tell they really care about their animals and customers. The store was super clean and smelt amazing. I’m excited to make this my new place and to have more of a peace of mind when it comes to my animals. You can really sense the passion and care!!

I come every week to get a fresh rat for my ball python and I look forward to seeing the crew every single time! They are all extremely knowledgeable, and they either have everything I need to care for my snake, or can point me in the right direction. I will definitely be getting my next snake from them. If you are interested in snakes, lizards, tarantulas or other exotic pets, I suggest you stop by! Even if just to have a conversation about preference and pricing!

We had a great experience here. We have 12 reptiles and enjoyed seeing there beautiful collection and listening to the staff talk about their own animals and give us advice. They spent over an hour speaking with us. The owner was very kind to us as well. I feel like people who have and love reptiles are a special community of people so it was really nice to meet them.

NA Georgia Exotics is worthy of a review! Ion is a solid small business owner, and follows through on his word, and delivers on great products and pricepoints, and of course, exotic animals. They have a great selection of reptiles, critters, and a highly educated team that can provide you with guidance, recommendations, and even reptile health diagnoses. Worth the drive from Chattanooga, TN. Go nowhere else!

North Georgia Exotics is my go to store when I have any reptile or exotic animal needs. I found this little gem a few months ago. My initial reaction, I was in shock. The amount of reptiles they had was amazing and the staff were friendly. The first person I met was a clean cut gentleman who introduced himself and asked me if I needed any help. I stated that I was looking for a Ball Python or a Red Tail Boa. He then proceeded to show me all of the snakes that was in his rack system. All the snakes looked healthy, hydrated, fed, and warm. I decided to check a few more stores and come back at a later date. Since that day, I have been back weekly to obtain feeder mice for my three boas and ball python. North Georgia Exotics are responsible for me owning three healthy boas. All three boa’s came from this store and I know exactly what there care was like before I purchased them. I have since learned that the first person I met was actually the owner of the store. He was putting in work like the rest of the employees and never once acted as if he was above anyone else. Gina and Kyle have been amazing too. I would recommend this store to anyone wanting a reptile. Their lizard selection ranges from bearded dragons all the way to monitors. They have multiple snakes in multiple morph variations. Please give them a look.Oh and to the person that stated the cages were dark. Some of them do not have visible light because they do not need light they are nocturnal. Or, they are boarding that reptile for someone and it is not for sale. Or, the enclosure does not have something in it. As for the sub straight issue, from my recollection last week, all reptiles had the sub straight that they needed. No not all of them have dirt or bark, but some do. Some only require a mat or carpet type sub straight because they sell fast and there are new animals coming in and out. Now if you don’t know anything about pet care, when you own a shop and you put hard to clean sub straight then you spend a lot of money cleaning and replacing that after each lizard that is placed in there. Therefore, to cut down on the spread of anything they may have, they use mat style sub straight so it can be changed and cleaned more easily.

If you are a reptile lover or have a reptile baby or your own you're caring for this store is a great choice. Their reptile selection is vast and healthy looking all around. Their selection of hides, hammocks, beds and decorations is good but I would love to see more basking platforms! The customer service was kind and helpful, as they appeared attentive to all the customers and even more attentive to their reptiles! I am looking forward to future visits and seeing the reptiles and more again.

After going to several reptile stores I became disheartened at the conditions they kept their animals and the rancid stench of their shops. If you have had similar experiences, (or not) you owe it to yourself to stop into North Georgia Exotics. It was a breath of fresh air (literally). The owner and staff are very informative, friendly, and helpful and the prices seemed fair. The animals look healthy and the shop smelled clean, this place is emasculate! I only wish I found this place sooner. This is definitely where I will be going for all .y reptile needs and future animals. Stop by, you won't be sorry!

Hands down the best Exotic Pet Shop in Atlanta area. I haven't gone to every shop yet, but my son and I were blown away. Water monitors, SD Retic, Cow Retic, Black Dragons!! Amazing collection here and ALL so clean and well cared for. The owners were so friendly and definitely love each and every animal there. Ya gotta see this place!!

An absolutely amazing store. Clean and smelled amazing. I purchased a Curly Hair Tarantula from them, and the owner was amazing about letting me get the spider out and handle it to make sure it was a good fit for me, as well as answer any and all questions I had. Incredibly kind staff and a very good variety of all kinds of exotic pets. Also able to order specific breeds is you’re looking for something specific. Overall just an amazing experience and happy customer.

Beautiful and extremely clean store. I enjoyed talking with the owner and staff. They were very helpful and patient with us while we picked out our sugar gliders. They also had a vast array of reptiles. Definitely worth the 2 hour ride! We'd do it again a thousand times!

Very nice little place! Definitely a focus on reptiles here. All or most animals on sale were reptiles, maybe some amphibians here and there? Oh yeah, also tarantulas! 🕷️ All look clean and well cared for. The goods for sale are at least 50% live animals, with a good variety; I believe they had more than one kind of monitor. The rest of what is on sale is, of course, items to help care for these animals. My son and I definitely enjoyed our first visit there :)

Been there a couple of times recently for feeders for my daughter's Leo Gecko. The place is great with an upbeat attitude and an owner that really cares (about his pets and people); an all around nice guy. We looked around for awhile and they really have a nice, clean set up for these animals. It was also nice to hear a little about them as well. They all look really well taken care of. We needed a place like this a little closer to us. Super cool and can't wait to go back, even if just for more crickets, just to see what's new.

I have visited twice. My first visit, I was disappointed to see animals in tiny, filthy, enclosures, but ultimately they looked relatively healthy. On my second visit, a visibly sick, dehydrated, and badly burned snake was on display and being offered for sale. This store is a disgrace. These are live animals, not something you can throw away for a quick buck. You should be ashamed.
