Gary wanted to have a specific schedule for our dogs. I canceled twice because the dogs didn't need grooming yet. On the second time he said he didn't want to take care of my dogs any longer. Gary in my opinion is not trustworthy and only is concerned with how much money he can make. He's not concerned with your pet's well being.

The customer service was outstanding, was very patient and gentle with my little girl, treated her like his own! You can tell they genuinely want them to feel safe! She is very nervous in new places and doesnt do well with anything that vibrates or makes noise of any kind, (high maintenance) did a great job despite her constant squirming, Will definitely be visiting again!

Took my Goldendoodle there for a grooming. He asked if he had any mats, I told him a few. My dogs previous groomer told me multiple times that my doodle was a great boy while grooming. My dog is 1 year old and hyper. Pictures and videos from previous groomer showed he was a good boy as well. When I picked my dog up, he scolded me for my dog having some mats, when I disclosed this before. He acted like my dog was sent from hell and a huge gash of skin was taken off his tail and he was bleeding in multiple spots. He had not been fixed yet for medical reasons, and he scolded me for that as well. I take very good care of my dog, and he definitely made me feel like some kid in trouble. I felt SO uncomfortable. Groomer has 0 patience and just overall very rude

I had my Pomeranian groomed here and was very happy with how my dog looked and how he was treated. My dog is older, has a hard time standing for very long, but they worked with him and did a great job. This is the best place to have your fur baby groomed. I called to make an appointment for my dog who I told them had not been there for at least 6 months. They informed me she had not been there for 2 years and I told them I had taken her to 5th Ave Pet Grooming (who I love!) because I wasn't able to get into their schedule. The lady on the phone kept talking back and forth to the man in the background who I could also hear. I heard him say that's not true and she told me he was not interested in grooming my dog. My dog was groomed at Awe for Pet Sakes for 5 years before I moved to Fort Myers for college. I still ALWAYS called Awe for Pet Sakes as my first choice when I was in town but they could never get her in for a few weeks. I also have recommended several people to the facility including my boyfriend's dog they had just groomed the week before I called. Definitely will no longer be recommending and they have now lost 2 customers!!!

I called to schedule a time to get my puppy a regular bath. I explained he is a Shepard mix mutt and I was told he doesn’t do Shepard’s. I then explained I only call him Shepard because it’s the closest breed I can pick out of him and he doesn’t have high levels of anxiety and no problems with touch. I am a trained veterinary technician so I understand Shepard’s level of anxiety, but even after I said he doesn’t need his nails or ears done he told me he wasn’t interested in my business. I feel as if as a groomer he shouldn’t be judgmental on breeds. I only needed a bath done because his puppy coat is thick and takes to long to dry at home.

Quite rude and hateful!! Called to get a quote today and a women answered very nice and sweet although the gentleman was very rude I heard him talk in the back no don’t do that(talking about giving me a quote) because I was just looking for a quote not to schedule an appointment at this time and I didn’t know how often I wanted to bring my dog in so after he decided to get on the phone and talk to me, I told him that he was being rude, and he decided to sit there and yell at me maybe one of the worst customer service I’ve ever gotten on the phone… very sad I was hoping to give this business a tryout

Be aware that this business has been sold to a new owner. When it was run by Ashley and Co. it was a great place with a staff who really loved dogs and did an excellent job. The new owner seems to be in this only for the money. When I called to make an appointment for a wash ONLY, I was told I should find a new groomer because the new owner only does "full service" grooms. They then tried to tell me that not drying a dog was "unsafe and could cause health problems". Now, I'm not a veterinarian, but dogs get wet. All the time! They get wet when it rains. They get wet when they jump in the pool... and you dry them off and life goes on. I had legitimate reasons for not wanting my dog dried with their dryers, but they didn't wait to hear about them. They were more concerned with not getting paid for their "full service" (which tells me they're more interested in your money than they are your dog) and had they given me the chance to explain, I would have assured them that I didn't expect to pay less than anybody else. I understand that a appointment slot needs to make money, but they were quick to cut me off and tell me I needed to go somewhere else, so ya know what... I did and the new groomer totally understood my concerns and had no problem with providing only the service I asked for. So if you're thinking about using For Pet's Sake, I would advise you to take the new owner's advice and find someone else.

I felt extremely comfortable having my puppies first groom there with Gary. He was able to give my puppy a full groom because he was so patient and caring with him! He also provided excellent customer service answering every question we had and more! Highly recommend!!!!

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE!!! I have a cocker spaniel puppy who has been groomed by Kendra since she was three months old! They have done more than enough to satisfy what I want done to her and are always understanding and patient with my puppy. The owners are very kind and I have never been disappointed with the work they’ve done.

I called to make an appt. I thought I had used them once before but I didn't remember for sure. He asked me why I left and went somewhere else. I told him I didn't remember and was not even sure I HAD used them. He said because I used him before and went somewhere else he wasn't interested. He was rude and condescending. I understand if you are busy and cannot take on more clients but to speak the way he did, it make me wonder how he treats our doggies. Good news is he doesn't have my business so I will not add to his work load.

Great place! I have taken my dog to other groomers and she is very nervous and anxious to get out when I pick her up. I can tell from her happy attitude that she was well cared for while she was there. She looks and smells great also!

My mother called to make an appt to have her dog groomed and he refused to groom her dog because she has not been there in a year! I called him to find out why that was an issue and to explain to him that her dog has been groomed in between then just not by him, I also explained my mother is 83 years old and lives on a fixed income so having her dog groomed every 2 months is not affordable for her.He proceeded to get very loud with me and told me he doesn’t care how old my mother is and that he can refuse to groom any animal that he wants for whatever reason that he wants to! He started cursing at me ( which I will not go into detail on here the words he used directly towards me out of respect for people who maybe reading these reviews) I have never experienced anything like this before and honestly don’t know how this gentleman keeps a business going and people coming back to him with a disposition like he has!!!! My thoughts are....If you treat people this way how are you treating their animals!!! Appalled by the customer service but thankful for the Eye opener!!!!

Owner told me to find another groomer because my miniature poodle kept trying to bite him. She has never tried that with anyone else that has groomed her. When we got home every time she stepped down on her hind leg she yelped. I think he was too rough with her and that is why she tried to bite. He also said he does not have the time it takes to do my dogs. They are older and need more patience which apparently he has none. He was not very friendly about it either.

We took our two Miniature Schnauzers here for a bath and a haircut! Best haircuts they have received in a very long time!Place was very clean! Staff are very friendly and courteous!We will definitely return! We highly recommend!UPDATE—took our two here again. Same quality haircuts! We highly recommend this place to everyone!

Called to schedule my dog a grooming appointment. Called to cancel last appointment no one never answered the phone. So I scheduled a new, he said he’s not grooming my dog because I didn’t cancel the last appointment. When clearly I was calling the phone all day. I called to make an appointment and the guy who answered the phone was very rude about it. He asked when was the last time my dog have been groomed. She goes to PetSmart for her baths but needs a haircut. He told me “no. I don’t want to do it”. Very unprofessional service I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE. If that’s how he treats people I can only imagine how he treats animals.

We were camping near Zephyrhills and need to have our puppy "Rusty" boarded for the day. Gary was apprehensive about taking a puppy that was not crate trained, but relented and took him. Rusty was not used to being left (or crated), and was crazy all day regardless of what Gary did (crate and lose). We needed him in day care for another day and Gary was kind enough to take him again and work with him again. We really appreciated Gary's help and kindness when we needed it.

I have a 13 year old Lhasa Apso. She is the boss, or so she thinks. She's very anxious, very obstinate and shakes when she is in a different environment. She is a guard dog but these groomers took their time, showed her positive reinforcement and handled her calmly. They did a fantastic job on Ellie. This is the 3rd place I've tried and no one has cared more for my pet than these groomers. Thank you.

I took my fur baby in to get her nails done, she's very dramatic, but he handled her with care, she only cried out once, and he told me she has arthritis in her legs, that why she screams....I definitely will be taking her back. Thank you all.
