I like this more than others, one thing that I will always remember is after hurricane Michael this store opened for customers even though the power was out and they were trying to do what they had to do. These people brought people in one at a time and had to figure up the totals with no registers and they were courteous and professional. I needed a bottle of gas and I did not have a bottle to trade in the manager told me to take it and bring it back when I was done. You just don't forget things like that.

1st time at this location and was pleasantly surprised at how well this store operates and stays stocked so well! The staff here is very helpful and friendly. I was surprised at how busy this place was to be so far from town, but it is the ONLY thing out that way besides a few gas stations!

I'm kind of fond of this particular Dollar General. It's not far from my home for 1. The staff is fairly respectful and knowledgeable of the store for 2. Yes, they are young, they are there just to get money so all their tasks doesn't get completed. But hey at least they are trying and not out on the street selling drugs and robbing people. Parking is really great There's never that many people there. On occasions, I will see a stray cat. It's mainly been this one lately and he is so sweet. I would recommend the store to anyone, but I do want to say to those. People that have no compassion for animals and drop your pets off with no one to love them or care for them. You don't deserve to breathe.

As far as dollar general goes, this one is above average from my experience. The service was friendly and knowledgeable about where to find what i needed and the store shelves were somewhat decently stocked as well. Pretty good as fsr as Dollar General goes in my honest opinion.

This is my neighborhood go to store i've been going to this store for about 5 years now even though I live on 2301 i'd rather go to the 231 one because of customer service friendliness of the people at this store they have helped me to a hard work I was in I got to know in these women very well I called them friends when I got the door I respect them and I expect people I know who come in there to respect them they all know what they're doing the manager of the assistant manager stephanie and the manager and all the girls at work day peace love and Harley-Davidson rainbows lady you got my props

These guys must be owned by walmart lol. They have everything you could need/ want under one roof and at insane prices. Especially when they start to phase something out and goes on sale, you can get it for pennies on the dollar. Only bad thing is fully have to fight the employees for the deals, in almost every one I've been to the cashier will have stuff behind the counter that's on sale waiting for their shift to end so they can buy it before the customer does. I believe the customer should have first shot and if they don't buy it by the time their shift ends then they can get it. Some stores make the employees wait up to 5 days for something on sale to be available to them so the customers get a shot at a awesome deal.

I love this Dollar General! The employees are the best. I am a disabled woman with severe copd and I stop there a lot with my grandsons who are 5 & 7. They are always so helpful and friendly.

I really enjoy Dollar General because it’s a great store to pop into to pick up supplemental items versus having to deal with a big grocery store. Their prices are very reasonable. I buy all of my over the counter medicine there because they are so much cheaper than all the other stores, especially if you buy the store brand. The reason they didn’t get 5 stars is because they have a bad habit of stocking the store during the day and they pull out huge carts and leave then in the aisle. The one on Montgomery Hwy, by Sandra Jeans Uniform shop, is the worst! I actually think they just leave that huge cart in the pet aisle!!!! I try to always use the new one on Westgate or the one at the intersection of Honeysuckle and 52. Stay away from the one on Montgomery Hwy across from Piggly Wiggly. They are so rude! One of the women at the register actually told my daughter who is single, going to school and raising a sick child that she didn’t need food stamps!!! My daughter was so shocked and asked her why would she just assume that? The lady ACTUALLY told her: Because you’re white. White people don’t deserve to get food stamps!!!!!! Yeah, we don’t shop there anymore.

Bad Business !!! Manager left office door open while talking to employee. Knowing we were in ear shot, proceeded to use the F word SPEAKING LOUDLY. No cashier in sight. Had to ring bell then them yell out get service. 👎👎👎👎

The young lady that was helping me about five foot eight skinny I think she was the manager but I didn't see a name tag she was very helpful and very kind and considerate

Check your reciept. And do not expect to use digital coupons or trust them. You have to go online and accept them even if they text or email a coupon to you. It can not be used if you do not go to their site and accept. And check your reciept. They purposely put items near wrong price tags to make it look like sale price.
