I had the pleasure of discovering this marina this morning. The people that I encountered were great and were helpful to say the least. The bait I got was very good and the ride out to the gulf was beautiful old florida scenery. I even saw a pair of bald eagles on the river. It will for sure be my go to place wgen fishing that area . I live in Dunnellon so its perfect for me.

This family made us feel right at home the very first day, we stayed across the street and they did not mind the kids running around at all. They made hot chocolate for them every morning while they burned a pot of coffee. They also kept their fuel prices low so we were able to fill every morning unlike the Homasasa Marina which won't even give me fuel since I only had one 12 gallon tank that needed filled which put me in a bad spot and are very rude. I made it back to Yankee town marina with 2 gallons left and $2 cheaper per gallon .

Under new Management. Very helpful. He said no problems getting shrimp and bait anything you need. They help you launch and load your boat.$5.00 boat ramp fee. Really nice people he walked my dog while I was getting out of the boat

Had a great time. Our Boat Capt Darrell and wife are Awesome people.Our fishing trip was nice, the weather was a bit nippy. The seanery was just gorgeous.

Great little town and a great little Marina. The new staff that is running the Marina are really giving it their all. They have fuel now, including diesel fuel. Restrooms are extremely clean and personal touches everywhere. I highly recommend using this marina.

Doug is awesome!!! While they didn't have diesel they made up for with awesome local folks and a fun time watching the shrimp boats come in!!! We wouldn't have had as much fun anywhere else!!! Doug even took us to the grocery store to get provisions!!! And while leaving, we got to visit with a manatee and a bunch of dolphin!!!! Awesome experience!!! Great job Doug!!! Mollie and Paul!!!

Thanksgiving day we stopped and was able to buy bait, hooks and other things to fish in the Gulf. Friendly young lady helped me pick out what we needed for our first time fishing in the Gulf. Seemed very reasonably priced too. We caught several fish although we didn't catch any keepers. We'll be stopping there again whenever we head to Yankee Town to fish.

The new manager's running the place David and his wife Charlotte are amazing people. They have just moved to town and are doing wonderful things to the Marina, things like fixing broken boards, filling pot holes, completely redoing the bathrooms just things that should have been fixed years ago. The best one for me so far was the fishing tournament they just held for kids. Every child received a brand new fishing pole, T-Shirt and prizes. There was about 75 children.

We appreciate the new management at Yankeetown Marina. David and Charlotte have been such a asset to the Marina and the community. Our campers love that the Marina is so close to the park and that they have made improvements to the boat dock and pier. They have live and artificial bait, ice, shirts, hats, sunscreen, ice cream and so much more. They have just what you need, when you want to have a great day out on the water. Welcome David and Charlotte and keep up the work.

Super clean, great help at the dock unloading, big shrimp. The best marina experience I have had. I will only put in and get my bait there. Excellent service super clean bathrooms!

This is a quiet ramp, away from all of the big crowds. If you need fuel, get it before you go, because there is not much nearby via water, and it's a long hike down there. The channel out to the gulf is gorgeous.

Been boating for 12 years and trailer my cabin cruiser all over Florida and Georgia. This is the friendliest marina I have ever been to. The staff treats you like family instead of another check. They also have everything you need to go fishing, ice, fuel, bait, and tips!

Refueled at Yankeetown Marina, staff were friendly and helpful. Try to do it when it's a bright sunny 😎 day, or breezy - else the no see ums will get you! 😝One thing to add, my wife and I decided to take the boat downriver to refuel. The gas gauge wasn't working and I thought I had more gas than I did. Needless to say we ran out of gas.I called the marina and the owner was kind enough to send someone up river with some gas! This is where I will be getting my gas from here on! 😎Ditto! 🌞

Marina is a great place to catch tarpon. Use to work on a shrimp boat here. In the early morning hours we would come in to dock. Throw a fishing line in and man huge tarpon. Just have not been able to successfully bring one onto shore yet :((

Not so informative. Very short and withholding info. The manager and young couple mean mugging. Definitely cheap. Yet 19 years waiting list.lol. smelly and definitely if not from there you are out of loop.wouldnt waste time... Go to TWIN Rivers or Pete's pier...

Update new mgmt running the place. Very nice go outta there way to help. Facility still needs work. Owners should invest some dollars. Folks are returning since the previous mgmt was replaced. I recommend it.

Yankeetown Marina is a busy place fast friendly and well kept and is a business who cares bout us commercial fishermen I work for Quig & Co we unload there 5 nights a week we help them out any shrimp we don't sell we put on them as they look out for us with twine net needles and even boots and bibs yankeetown marina for all your boating nessisuties

Love this place! It might take a few more minutes to get to the mouth of the river, but you totally avoid the circus. Plus they always have shrimp.

Good place to launch your boat .. Fresh water going out with the tide . That makes it easier to flush out your boat motor and equipment . Stap your poles along the side of your boat for easy clean up ...
