Fantastic RV park, the managers Stacy and Michelle are amazing and very welcoming, if we had any problems they fixed them immediately. The park is very friendly and safe and guess what they have trees for shade, unlike other parks which cut them down for two more spaces, lots of awesome wildlife. We were going to stay for three weeks and are now staying for three months. Ten minutes away is the Gulf of Mexico and some of the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see, no downsides apart from the "noseeums" which come out in late afternoon. Book today you will not regret it.

From Stacy, Michelle and Sherri in the office to grounds keepers “Dan the man” and “old hippy Chris”and event coordinator Lindsay, they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We made so many new friends and already booked next year.Great job guys!!Nearby activities: Lots of bike trails and rivers to canoe.

Staci was a huge help when we were looking for a place to spend 4 nights near Crystal River, none of the campgrounds in Crystal River or Homosassa would allow a tent on the site with our camper. I started searching nearby and found this cute campground close enough to all the places we wanted to visit. Staci picked the perfect site for us and was so easy to talk to. The campground was great, even with some construction in progress everything was clean and the people were so nice. I can't wait to see the progress there and we hope to return again soon! I highly recommend Eleanor Oaks!Nearby activities: 20 to 30 minutes to Three Sisters Springs and Homosassa Springs. Just a few minutes to Bird Creek beach and the Withlacoochie Gulf Preserve.Safety: The campground was quiet, everyone was friendly and it felt very safe.Food & drinks: Happy Harbor and Brooks Dockside Seafood are both great places to get fresh local seafood to cook. If you want to go out to eat definitely go to Seafood Seller and Cafe in Crystal River.

Eleanor Oaks is located in one of the last old towns on the Gulf side in Yankeetown, Florida. The historic Riverside Drive is just a short walk away from the park and leads straight to the Withlacoochee River. One of the highlights of Eleanor Oaks is the bathhouse. Sherri who lives and works at Eleanor Oaks takes great care in making sure the bathhouse is cleaned on a daily basis and ready for use. She is a joy to talk to and always puts time and care into her work!

I came in after hours but Lindsay (activities director) was very helpful getting me in contact with the management. I'm a transient and just wanted to spend the night. The management allowed me to spend the night. Very peaceful place to stay and close to the beach.

My wife and I spent Memorial Day weekend 2023 here for our first time staying in the park. We got the site we picked by reserving over the phone. Didn't spend any time in the pool, but it was very clean when I looked over the fence. Bathrooms were cleaned every morning by a very polite person. We stopped and played a game of pool in the clubhouse, which was always clean and in order. Park grounds were clean, and all sites were cut and ready for the next camper. We will be back again and I'm sure it will still be the same place that we left. Oh, and the send-off breakfast or Memorial Day breakfast was a great way to finish a wonderful weekend at Eleanor Oaks RV Park. To the entire staff thanks for a wonderful weekend. Site 10

My family and I have just made the leap to full-time living. Our first stop was Eleanor Oaks RV Park. We could not have asked for a better experience. The staff is wonderful and has been very attentive and responsive. Being newbies to the lifestyle, we've had some growing pains. There was an issue with the power pole that they handled with immediate concern and had it resolved quickly. Then our ac's were not working...in July 😓. Other guests and on staff maintenance came to our aid and helped us to work things out offering us fans and even offered to allow us to sleep in one of rental units if we needed to until we hooked up with a repairman (also facilitated by office staff). The facilities and the pool are clean and we've enjoyed the club house and all it's amenities. Located in quaint Yankeetown, the family friendly and dog friendly park is shaded with well maintained trees and within walking disatnce to a nice restaurant, a playground and the Withlacoochee River. The locals are super laid back and friendly. Everybody waves hello and has been very welcoming! If you're looking for fancy and the typical Tourist beaches, keep driving, but if you want an Old Florida experience surrounded by unspoiled nature, this is your spot!Nearby activities: Kayaking, fishing, scalloping, swimming with Manatees, multiple near by boat rampsSafety: Feels very safe here.Walkability: Quiet, tree shaded streets for wandering strolls.Food & drinks: Blackwater restaurant just up the road. Half price apps on Thursdays and everyday 3pm-6pm

The past few days my family and I have been staying, it's been nothing short of amazing! The pool is very clean and the property is overall in really awesome shape! Staff is super friendly and helpful. The Bark Park is quite a decent size, dumpster on site, and very close to the beautiful charming Yankeetown!

We rented a trailer for our family & spent 3 nights. We had a fantastic time. The park offers peace & quiet, clean showers & a nice pool. We will come again this summer!

Loving our stay here, there is a children’s park just a few minutes walk down the road and it’s only a 7 minute drive to a mini beach where you can watch the sunset! The “no see ums” are a lot, but that’s to be expected. Would definitely recommend this park, and we hope to come back again!

We were able to get in for a 30 day stay at the last minute! Stacy was amazing and great to do business with. Our cell service was spoty at best, but the park offers wifi and cable. The cable wasn't the best but we had wifi to stream shows. They are a guiet, well maintained campground. They have a pool, good size dog park for your pups, and a dumpster on site for trash. Community room, bath house, and on site coin laundry. 14 miles from Crystal River, 22 miles to Rainbow Springs state park. We would definitely stay with Stacy and Eleanor Oaks again!Noteworthy details: Sunsets at the nearby boat ramp are amazing!

Was a great Rv park, however, its now under new ownership and unfortunately it’s quickly becoming a low class trailer park. This park used to have a small town relaxing, no stress environment, sadly that has changed, the vibe now is more like a wrong turn in a real bad neighborhood. The employees are conniving. Vengeful individuals with the mind set of a children. These are adults in their 50s and up mind you. Steve the man that cuts the parks grass will hit your RV with the zero turn lawnmower, he hit my RV with it 4 times. Steve Will also became very verbally abusive with your wife while the husband is away. Very rude and nasty people. I definitely do not recommend Eleanor Oaks, RV park. RV parks in Florida are a dime a dozen, pick a better one.

People were pleasant but the place packs everyone in like sardines and the No See-ums, were really bad couldn’t even sit outside! Had a family emergency and had to cut our stay short, refunds said it was at the discretion of the manager, well we’re learned a hard lesson; don’t pay for everything up front because you won’t get a penny back!

Arrived to find our assigned space occupied, reservations made three days in advance. Another space assigned to us, not as nice (No shade).Had to drive travel trailer off road because of cars (2) parked in middle of roadway.Drunk in clubhouse trying to get in an argument over politics.Cable TV a joke, all channels in a snow storm.Internet had download speed of 1.25 Mbps and up load of .23 Mbps.Urinal in middle of mens shower area.Listed in PassbookAmerica but NEW owner said they are not.Location nice. Could be a great campground with a little management.

I moved to Florida in November of 2020, and arrived at Eleanor Oaks after the RV park I was supposed to live at turned out to be a dump. When I arrived here, the staff were very helpful in getting me a spot, even though they were booked for the winter. This place is fantastic for my needs. The staff have all been great and friendly, the grounds are well kept. The power poles are all new and the WiFi has been working great for my Netflix and YouTube. I am living here full time because I am very happy where I am at.

It's nothing fancy, but is a clean and lovely place to stay. They provide you with a list of area places from restraunts, things to do, and stores which we appreciated greatly. About 20 minutes from Crystal River. Bird Creek beach is about 5 minutes away & is a nice little beach to enjoy the sunset. Staff is very nice and welcoming, we highly recommend staying here.

Update: A large number of trees have been removed, diminishing its natural beauty and habitat, as well paved the roads. Sadly it's no longer a campground, it's just another Florida trailer park..EOCG is a spacious RV campground located 2 blocks from the Withlacoochee River & 2 miles from the warm Gulf waters of Mexico. Great amenities right on the Campground & ONLY 10 miles from Crystal River (Home of King's Bay, Hunter and Three Sister's Springs where Manatee's come home to every year!) Great Fishing & fresh Seafood eating.

The Wisconsin owners have applied to remove 58 trees, most of them Long Needle Pines, up to approximately 200 years old. You might want to think about parking free at the local Walmart if they get rid of all these trees. You will get the same ambiance, as the removal of that many trees, on such a small lot will be devastating. They will be removing the heart and soul of this park. We are hoping they will change their minds about removing these beautiful trees. It is in the middle of town, so you would now be exposed to all the neighboring homeowners eyes. She sounds like she has a good heart and will do the right thing for our town. It is a pretty park now, and my stars reflect what may be, not what it is now.

Very happy with Eleanor Oaks. Nice shady spots under live oaks, full hook ups. Nature areas surround the property so there are plenty of places to give, kayak, bike and fish. Club house, laundry room, bathrooms and showers. The people camping at Eleanor Oaks are some of the friendliest we've met, but the truly wonderful aspect of this RV park is the exceptional employees. They are helpful, friendly, and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay a great experience. Will definitely be returning to Eleanor Oaks.
