Took family from GA to the Yalaha Bakery. Very welcoming staff and atmosphere as always. Stepped over to check out this Distiery, looked like a cute little building, beautiful property and area but very unwelcoming. After asking about their best sellers, about moonshine and saw the distillery there we kept trying to engage in conversation but felt we were bothering the only staff we saw. Was not conversational at all. We were interested and would liked to have sampled but left without anything and saw the free sample sign as we were exiting. Next to an amazing iconic place would expect a bit more to welcoming guests. Disappointed

I was on a drive back home and met this hidden gem. Coming from the northern states I haven’t had too many homemade pies. But the owners mother makes the BEST homemade pies I have ever had (we got the tomato/leek and chicken pot pies). There were numerous different flavors of homemade jams as well. The owner was super kind and gave me an extra jam since they didn’t have a certain flavor I was looking for. The place is also known for BBQ and moonshine. It’s worth the visit! And a place I will never forget. Thank you Blue Bayou!

So I took my family to pick some blueberries today and it was pretty fun. My 21 month old ate more then she put in the bucket lol. If your into Alcoholic drinks I hear there moonshine is legit, we also picked up some Mango Pineapple Jam and Strawberry Jalapeño Jam cant wait to try them. Then we strolled over to the BBQ spot, OMLord ! Eddies BBQ is sooooo good ! My wife loved the pulled pork and I had the Ribs that were also good. This is a spot i would drive 30min for anytime. Great find

We come up here every couple of months to get out of the hustle and bustle of Orlando. Absolutely amazing pies!!! Wonderful produce and Amish Cheeses and butter. FANTASTIC Organic Moonshine! Super-friendly people! We will never return to the bakery next door because of the petty owners and the fence. Blue Bayou is worth the drive from anywhere!

Organic pick your own blueberries. 7 or 8 different varieties of blueberries to pick. About 20 rows worth behind the store. Each row is the same type so they recommend you try them as you pick. $5 per pound. Moonshine is $35 per 750ml for all but the blueberry Brandy and the pecan moonshine which are aged and 48 each.

Moonshine is probably the best I have ever tried. Also has jams, hot sauce and some fun gifts. Fresh bbq in smoker out front. Cool place to stop along the way.

Craft Distillery at Blue Bayou is a fun place to visit. This is Moonshine distillery located at Blue Bayou Farms Blueberry Farm. They have a bunch of fun & delicious flavors like watermelon, peach, blueberry, cranberry, apple and pecan as well as Blueberry Brandy and Pieces of Eight Rum.Blue Bayou also has homemade pies and pick your own blueberries. The farm store carries local veggies, cheese, local honey and clams from Cedar Key

Driving along the country road to Mount Dora I happened upon this place. The barbecue was unbelievable! The brisket and burnt ends were actually moist! The ribs were seasoned to perfection fell off the bone! The music was good as there was a band that was jamming!I didn't partake in any of the spirits in The Distillery area but that quite the selection! Fun place

Blue Bayou Farms in Yalaha, its a distillery for moonshine, many flavors and you can watch it being made, but the bbq guy (Eddie) has some of the best Q around. The ribs are on point, the pulled pork is also, he also has a marinated smoked chicken sandwich that is unreal.But the Brisket is the best I've had in a long time, juicy, very tender and perfect bark, pink smoke ring. Eddie builds a huge sandwich and his prices are very reasonable for the quality. This guy knows his BBQ, he's only there Thursday through Sunday.

I had a hankering for really good pie I called around and Googled and I found a few places in the area but they were all like down in or Orlando and Publix pie gives me heartburn so I came acrossed Blue Bayou Farm and they offered everything that I wanted the lady that answered the phone I think is the owner she was very delightful she even volunteered to open early for me because I was moving and I needed to pick stuff up right away because she was distilling anyway which I thought was very above-board and kind I was able to select three pies plus one extra they were very reasonably priced for the size to start off with the chicken pot pie was awesome I'm not a fan of chicken pot pie I've had banquet ever since I was a kid and it kind of gets a little old after awhile but this the crust was buttery flaky goodness and it had that just the right amount of chicken flavor with the vegetables and the cream it was awesome I also got 2 blueberry pies smaller version and one blueberry cranberry apple I think it is and she told me when I was there that the blueberry cranberry apple is not as sweet as the blueberry I tried the blueberry this morning when it was warm hoooooooo, my mouth watered. But back to the service she was delightful to talk to she told me about their story what they offer how I can get blueberry moonshine , jams and jellies that are made by her mother, Amish Cheese, fresh local honey and that it's a U-Pick blueberry farm. I absolutely enjoyed myself she was delightful to talk to you she was very cordial and friendly I didn't see anything wrong about this place whatsoever and I will definitely refer my friends and family to go to here to pick up necessities and I'll definitely be back for her pies her pies are freaking awesome !!!!!!!!!!if you call ahead she can make whatever is in season!!!!! so I'm definitely looking forward to get in touch with her for fresh homemade peach pie and maybe a strawberry pie 2 that would be a lot of fun well thank you for listening to my two cents I highly recommend this place to pick up necessities and I'll definitely be back for her pies her pies are freaking awesome ...God bless

Love the tomato/leek pie - crust is flaky and flavorful and the tomatoes are really good, the leek gives it just a hint of savory and the parmesan cheese on top is a perfect compliment. I never miss a chance to get one of these pies - I even enlist other people to bring them to me!

I've only had their pies, and everyone of them was delicious, especially the berry ones, which aren't overloaded with sugary goo. The potato/leek too. The chicken is just like any other chicken pot pie. All the small pies are $6.

What a great little place for fresh produce, homemade moonshine, jams and jellies and so much more. They have entertainment on weekends so you can hang out. Also the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

My wife and I absolutely love this place they have very friendly staff and great products if your out this way stop in and check it out. Just avoid the Bakery next door they are not very friendly.
