Low review due to condition of the animals.Photos attached: viewer discretion advised.During my visit, I took notice of multiple animals being kept in low condition. Half the fish tanks were extremely dirty. With such small tanks and very little fish in them, it appears they haven't been cleaned in weeks. Most of the lizards and geckos did not have proper conditions to keep them happy and healthy, specifically a leopard gecko being kept in an extremely wet and humid tank. I've heard for years PetCo having trouble taking proper care of their animals, this unfortunately proved this rumor.Beside these conditions, this store has promise to improve and meet the needs of their visitors.

I just stepped out from shopping with Petco. And I am just so very grateful for Sam! He was my associate who so graciously assisted me with my purchase today. He is a vital asset to your team!! His calm, warm, welcoming energy and soft smile was all I needed to feel that i would receive top notch service and I did! Please give him a raise/incentive/vacation, take care of him, and praise him as he deserves it. It’s truly hard to find pure hearted souls working in customer service jobs these days and he just reminded me that souls like his do still exist and I can still have a good shopping experience. Bless his heart !! And bless his pockets! :) I’ll be sure to come back to petco for my cat’s needs!!

The order was incomplete and also wrong. I ordered online around midnight on Easter. I knew that the store did not open until 9 am on Monday, but I was going out of town at noon and needed the gate. I waited until 11 am for notification that the order was fulfilled, but did not receive it, so I called the store and was told, " Oh yeah, it's ready for pick-up." When I got to the store, I was handed a bag, but there was no walk through gate. I inquired about the gate, because it was the item I really needed. I was told they didn't have it, I could order and get in on Friday, or I could call around to another Petco and see if someone had the size I needed. I was very disappointed.

Super clean and organized, staff is wonderful! Thank you so much for providing a vaccination without charging an office visit — that is very important to me. Just the office charge at other places would send one rabies vaccination plus the office visit over $100. I have the upmost faith and trust with Petco and will continue to provide for my senior dogs care needs. Thank you again!

I really enjoyed visiting this store. I visited during cyber Monday, which I forgot about, and Susan the trainer informed me that they price match with the online deals or I could purchase it online for pickup. During that time she provided me tips about some of my dogs’ behaviors that was concerning to me. She was very informative and helpful. If I wasn’t visiting for a short period. I would definitely use her expertise in dog training. I have three chihuahuas. I also interacted with Angel and he took the time to assist me in searching for the best dog bed and collars for my fur babies for the best prices. The people here at this store has great customer service. I will definitely return when I am in the area again.

There was No One in the store for about 3three minutes. I mean the whole store floor and register area. All the animals in cages weren't locked!, and I witnessed three teenage boys steal a tortoise.

Worst Petco ever. Even though I was late to the appointment and called to advise, as to which I was told I could be 15 mins late, Amara had no compassion and only stated while she had her ice cream sundae in her hand, “you were late and I have 2 other dogs to do so I cannot do your dog. Even though I had waited 10 mins for her, the salon owner and 2-3 other coworkers to come from the back with their ice cream sundaes laughing as they were walking up. Poor customer service. I do not recommend anyone uses this Petco!

The petco app always messes up, and I clearly had a coupon and it wouldn't open, so the girl checking me out went ahead and added it! So grateful for that! Thank you for being so awesome...the boys really appreciated you helping out their mom ❤

Please dont take your dog here , i waited the longest for a grooming appt for my dog to be left half way groomed because in the middle of the grom she gave up , cut my dog & left him undone.She claimed it was my dog because after 3 hours of him being there she didnt know better but to lie...My dog came home sick with diarea because god knows what they fed him..This is by far one of the worst place to groom your dog , im beyond upset... 😭

If you go on their website they quote prices for items at the store. I am not talking about online specials. The store, however, Mark's up the price 25 to 50 percent. If you dont catch it, you get ripped off. In other words when shopping in there have their website up or you might be paying double.

Employees are always nice and happy to help. If they don't know an answer to your question they will find someone who can help. My conure loves going into the store as well, gets excited for all the attention every time lol. Fish are almost always healthy as well, and in the case they aren't, they're very happy to exchange or refund as long as you bring in the fish and a separate sample (as per the policy).

My dog needed a bath soooo bad, so I called Petco and spoke with harmony. She was very nice and helpful. She was able to take my baby in same day! When I came home and saw my boy he was so clean and he smells good. THANK YOU HARMONY!! I hope tango did not give you a hard time he’s kind of a wuss when it’s bath time .

Harmony was a pleasure to work with. She kept our dog Millie calm and groomed her fairly quick. Our dog looks super cute and pretty now. We were lucky to get in earlier and she was done faster than expected. She achieved better than what we expected. Although the drive was 2600 miles we would gladly do it again in future.

Phone doesn’t work, programmed to hang up on you. I’ve purchased 3 batches of crickets from them, everytime I add crickets I clean the enclosure add gutload/hydration. I’ve tried a large amount or a small amount, this place sucks, the crickets are dying by the time you get them and their mortality rate is 50% per day until they are all dead, even if you remove the dying ones as you see them, replace gutload daily, and spot clean. House is kept above 72 and they are ventilated. Drive the extra 15 min and go to pet bazaar where they cost half what they are at petco and aren’t dying. I keep small reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates! All of them are refusing these crickets, these are high prey drive animals.Edit: under same parameters, pet bazaar crickets will keep for weeks/months. Low cannibalism, more activity

As most places these days, there are ups and downs at this store but in general they do a great job managing a store filled with animals. The freshwater fish are heathly 90% of the time and store policy makes up for the losses that occur. Occasionally have great selection of freshwater plants and fish but their supplier does delay. Very nice to have such a local store that honors online transactions and pickup discounts.
