Our Strawberry shortcakes were delicious. For $5 we received a good size cake, a decent amount of berries and plenty of ice cream and whip cream (two different orders). Nice to have a choice of unsweetened berries

We’ve been going to Goodsons for at least 35+ years. The past two years we’ve been disappointed in Goodsons for selling strawberries that are NOT RIPE! Strawberries do not ripen after they’ve been picked. They put all the beautiful berries on top and the underlying ones are not ripe. They should be ashamed of themselves. The signs say, “do not touch berries until you buy” so there’s no checking them out. 3rd time this year for us that this has happened. I guess we should’ve learned our lesson by now! Sorry Goodsons, not our fav place for berries anymore.

First time here, I believe it was around 5 PM on a weekday. It was pretty packed, the line was all the way outside but it moved quickly. We were only there for thr desserts. We ordered the strawberry shortcake and the strawberry pizza slice, in my opinion the shortcake is way better than the pizza.

We came here on a weekend with our cousins.I'm not from the area so this was a treat. The market is a combination of various strawberry products. You can get in line to order fresh strawberry desserts or a collection of various deli items like hot dogs and sandwiches. We will recommended to try the strawberry shortcakes. My brother ended up getting the strawberry pizza (which is a strawberry pie on a sugar cookie crust). It ended up being better than the strawberry shortcake. And the strawberry shortcake was one of the best I've ever tried.Apparently having a line is a common occurrence for when this place is open. Bring the family and let them enjoy the freshness of Florida produce.

What a great spot!Of course they have reasonably priced fresh strawberries but they also have other seasonal produce in their small market section.The real surprise for us was the awesome Cuban sandwich and fresh made strawberry shortcake!Get there early- this is a popular place at lunchtime. Note that they are closed on Sundays.

Will return.I’ve been hearing about its strawberries for sometime and finally got to visit it.They’re a simple farm that sell produces and jams, with sit down tables outside. There are strawberry fields and packing houses. Today’s strawberries are on the hard side and rather sour. The Georgia vidalia hot sauce is too sweet for my taste – although I know onion hot sauce could be sweet.

Everything about this place is ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT on a consistent basis EVERY TIME I visit. Their berries are 100%+ better than Plant City ever hopes to be. There food offerings from sandwiches to anything with berries are also excellent. Their staff is always courteous no matter what their job is. Please don't let neighbors run you out of business.

This place is awesome! The fresh fruits & vegetables were delicious..I loved the pine-berries, 1st time I ever tried them & fell in love & had to buy some. We also had a strawberry shortcake with whipped cream.... DELICIOUS! I will be back ALOT to get all my fruits & vegetables plus try other delicious thing on the menu!

Goodson Farms is a seasonal market offering a selection of items done with Strawberry and very popular sandwiches.The Cuban Sandwich is one of the best of the area.Goodson farm offers, sliced strawberries, milkshakes, sundaes, shortcakes at a very low price and they are delicious. My preference is The Works - a strawberry shortcake with cake freshly made at the farm, vanilla ice cream, sliced strawberries and whipped cream.They also sale fruits and vegetables in the store.If you are in the Balm, Riverview, Ruskin or Wimauma area, please stop in….you will not regret it.

We love it here every single visit!!! The strawberry shortcake is not to be beaten. My husband loves the Cubans, and I love the turkey sandwiches. I always stick up on pickled beets because they taste just like my grandmother’s used to!!!

Came here for lunch. There was a line out the door but it moves fast. Ordered samdwiches and of course some yummy strawberry desserts. My favorite was the strawberry milkshake. Sooo delicious! Picked up some fruit, including fresh strawberries in the produce side. The strawberries were sweet and yummy and they smelled simply amazing!

Been going here since their original location further down the road, it was great then and still very much great now. Glad to see all the business that it continues to get (just gotta be strategic with their less crowded times).Staff is very friendly and their strawberry shortcakes and Cuban sandwiches are addicting.Only feedback is that they not skimp out on whip cream for us Strawberry shortcake and whip fans!

Best strawberry farm in our area! Strawberry pizza, shakes, and the town favorite cuban sandwich. Selection of produce is also better than the local grocery stores. The STRAWBERRIES ARE INCREDIBLY EXQUISITE!There is no need to travel to Plant City

Went with a small group as part of a car club cruise. Big crowds but they have a system for handling them.The cuban sandwhich was good and reasonable cost. I don't eat strawberries but everyone seemed to be enjoying them.The little farmers market was great and the loaves of Cuban bread were fantastic. Great out of the way day trip for family or friends.

I loved this place. It is a strawberry farm plus a small cafe / restaurant.They sell food. They sell strawberry. They sell produce. Jams. The wait on a Sunday morning was unbelievable long due to how famous this place is and i can tell you it was worth the wait.I got me the cuban sandwich. The hot dog and the strawberry short cake.All three are incredible. Highly recommend this place before they close for the season.The cake was delish.The Cuban was good for at least 2 ppl.Try it. You won't be disappointed.I loved it.

The staff are really nice. Lines can be long but they move quickly. Great strawberry shortcake with great cake. Milkshakes are ok but made with syrup with no strawberries.

Strawberry shortcake was great. The tray of berries purchased had all the large ones on top with many unripe ones on the bottom. There is a sign that says if you dig in the berry tray you need to buy that tray. If all the berries looked like the ones on top no digging would be necessary!

It was my first time. The cake for the strawberry shortcake was so delicious. The Cuban was delicious. But I don't eat mayo so they should pre make some without mayo/ mustard.

This has been a true treasure of a place. Being new to the area, I have been looking for a place that sells great produce. I dont have to look any further (or until they close for the season). This place has the BEST strawberries. It's not pick your own, but I couldn't care less. They are the sweetest strawberries I have ever had. The little market is also AWESOME. Low prices on great vegetables. Love buying their cabbage. They are so sweet. The peppers are amazing as well, but can be very hot! Went today, and the squash was very cheap! $1 for a spaghetti squash!!! I have been here previously and had their "works" shortcake. Holy cow, was it delicious! I just love coming to this place!!!

We have been coming to Goodson's for years and have never had a complaint. This year was horrible. 1. The Cuban sandwich was cold in the middle and the rest was not even warm and toasty. I went back to get 2 Sundays. Mine was with everything. The problem as the berries were not berries. We had smashed liquid juice. And our waitress must have though more juice was needed and poured the juice from an empty container into the new container.We bought a $12 box of strawberries and they were huge, but horrible. There were so many berries not ripe yet and still half white. I have pictures. Then there were rotten ones that never should have been put in. Yes, I know that occasionally you get a few but almost a box and a half is way too much. Really upsetting that whoever packed this one needs to be shown good berries, bad berries. The ones I did keep are mostly white in the inside where they used to be a bright red . Not worth the moey.

I have been coming to Goodson Farms since I was a child and the quality has always been great. I always enjoy a classic strawberry shortcake with whipped cream along with the best cuban sandwich I have been able to find.
