I called this morning to see if they had Minwax color gunstock in stock before making the drive because it shows online they have product in stock for $14.99 1 qt size. They confirm it is but when I get to store the price is higher than what it shows online. Take it to the cashier and she tells me she can’t price match to $14.99 from $16.99 because that’s an online price and in store I have to pay their price. She tells me they are not part of corporate every store is independent. So now I have to purchase and wait till order is fulfilled and it may take up to a day. No problem I tell them I’ll buy online when I get home, but then I decided to pass by Walmart to see if they have it and sure thing they do in store for only $7.47. Now if you would’ve trained your associate to provide good customer service and just price match price you wouldn’t have earned a 1 star. I would’ve paid the $14.99 and everyone happy. Ordered a critically needed item due to the hurricane and 2 days later I got a cancellation email with no courtesy call, no details as to why or anything. I already don’t like ace because they’re way more expensive than the other home centers and the employees spend more time following me around in the store like I’m going to steal something rather than helping me… just another reason why to not shop at ace.

I needed a replacement lock for our sliding glass door. This was a DIY endeavor that was completed by using a YouTube video. I was immediately greeted and assisted by the friendliest cashier, Laura, with outstanding customer service. She called for assistance for me and Larry, from Kentucky (I mention this because there are more than one sales associate named Larry) recommended the easiest option for me. Larry was friendly and knowledgeable. Please recognize them both with a well - deserved special commendations and a possible raise in salary . They have made Ace hardware my number one hardware store!

I turned to ACE to see if their was a handyman there who could help me with my lawn mower. The base had gotten loose and screws had come out and gotten stripped and i couldn't figure it out myself.Tim Beltz was recommended and he came right out to where i brought the mower and looked at it and tightened it another way that made the mower stable and sturdy like before! He helped with no hesitation or judgement against me and I was floored by his PROFESSIONALISM AND KNOWLEDGE & Overall Excellent Job in Helping me!!They should be more than Proud he is a Manager there!!!!

I realize that The Home Depot is right down the street, but I prefer to support local businesses whenever I can. I know the prices can be a little higher than at a big box retail store, but sometimes paying a few extra bucks to help out a local business is well with it.I needed a few items for my new home in SCC so I stopped in here to check out the prices. Honestly, they were no higher than The Home Depot. Sure they have a lot less of a selection, but they had exactly what I needed, at a price I was willing to pay.What I liked the most is that when I walked into the store, I was immediately greeting by the cashier in a very friendly tone. I could not find what I was looking for, and an employee immediately noticed I was searching for something. He approached me and asked if he could help me find something. When I told him what I was looking for, he walked me over to the items I needed, and showed me my options. I really appreciated being walked over, rather than being told, "It is on aisle 3."I will return here whenever I need something hardware related, as they have excellent customer service, reasonable prices, and do all of this with a smile. The also offer fresh hot popcorn to customers, which is a nice touch!

Disappointing...was told I had 10 minutes to shop when I walked in. Quickly grabbed a paint sample to have mixed. One gentleman was willing to help. The paint mixing attendant and another employee told me there wasn't enough time and advised I should return in the am. Taking my business elsewhere ☹️

This is one of the most fantastic places to shop for hardware. The big box stores don’t give you the service that you can get at this Ace Hardware. Don’t get me wrong not all Ace Hardware’s are the same. This one in Sun City Center is fantastic. I will gladly go there and pay a little bit more and get the best service in the land. Excellent staff. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Their new store is phenomenal. My dog loves going there too. Pet friendly as well as people friendly. Plenty of parking and we go by golf cart.

Smaller sized Ace Hardware, but still carries a lot of items. They didn't have the Diamond brand of dog food I was seeking, as this is not a feed store too, like some Ace's. The place is packed with hardware, was clean and looked nice. They were not very busy, so it was easy too maneuver through the isles. We were greeted as we entered the store and asked if we needed any help. Quick in and out here.

Love this store. If you can't find it anywhere, they will usually have it. Got my clothespin bag (not easy to find) for $5. Also found out that they will make new screens for me and very reasonable. Just bring in the old ones. I can't wait till they move to the new location down the street, twice as big.

Horrible customer service on part of a Male worker, name was not given. Person clearly has a lack of patience and needs to learn self restraint. You can not slam items in a fit of rage towards patrons. You can not act as if people who have trouble speaking english are second class citizens. I was translating for the first customers in the door and this employee wanted to over look them if I hadn't spoken up. This guy needs a job away from people or a new attitude preferably a positive one.

This is one of the most well organized, neatest and cleanest hardware stores around. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, providing great friendly service. By far, this Ace Hardware beats The Home Depot down the street.

I have lived here, taking care of my mother, for well over a year and ACE Hardware IS the best place for all of this corner of Sun City to go!!! The competition is helpful bit NOwhere as good as the long term experienced guys at ACE. They are, by far, the most knowledgeable, experienced, and caring!!!

I went to Ace, in Sun City, looking for a specific nut for my bike. Due to the fact that the nut is un-common, I was un-able to locate it here. However, a gentleman who works here was able to point me in the right direction. I now have my bike up and running. Many thanks

The most rudest people I've had to deal with in a long time . Walked to look at feed for my chickens ,this very rude man told me I could not be in a back room , there was no signs saying no enter. I won't ever go back to this ace hardware
